Easy enough to walk to the Hotel Mondial with our luggage. The allocated double room was rejected by the Bell Boy due to the heavy smoke odour. We stayed for three nights. The location is excellent on a quiet side street not far from train station. Can walk to most places and the metro station Republica is only steps away. This is a good 4 star hotel that is now due some refurbishment. We stayed at Mondial in 2003 and found it quite excellent - pristine rooms and bedlinen changed every day.
