Rooms are a little bit old , our room had a terrible view on the first floor but who cares... More

We stayed at the Mondial a few years ago with our daughter and her friend .We had been very satisfied with the hotel so decided to stay again for a five day break in Rome. The hotel seems to have been refurbished and we loved our room and bathroom. Neither was overly large, but adequate and very warm which was... More

Rude staff and poor management, I have every stayed in any hotel like this. They do not know what is customer service. Seems like that we had to appreciate them for taking to us. We asked to see the manager, and staff told us that there was no manager,!! we had to wait 1 hour to talk to their manager.... More

Location is perfect! 850 metres to termini station. 200 metres to repubblica station. Restaurants on the way of VIA nazionale have a good balance in terms of taste and price. Hotel staff is very helpful. For instance if you encounter with socket size problem they give you a converter or if you ask the restaurant staff , they come and... More

When visiting Italy in December, 2014, we decided to go to Rome for a few days. We didn't have a reservation but the Best Western was able to fit us in for two days on a moments notice. They were very friendly and helpful. They gave us wonderful information about the area (sight seeing, transportation, events, & they were spot... More

Just behind the opera, this best western is nicely located near Termini and a metro station. The region is packed with good restaurants. Closest on is Cotto just 20 meters from the front door. Hotel service was good, rooms (we had 2) were large enough, very clean, and well equipped. Beds were too hard though. Our rooms were quiet (4th... More

We have been there twice as a couple and with a little child of 1,5 y/o.the location is perfect for a tour of rome, even by walk. the only improvement should be the area of the breakfast which is not as big as you suppose for a 4 star hotel.

Among hotels located around the Termini area this one is definitely a great choice. Reasonable walking towards the Colosseum, Termini or via del Corso. Rooms are modern yet well designed. Breakfast was OK.

Hotel room was clean and tidy. Great location, close to train station, metro, buses and restaurants. It was in a very central position. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful. The rooms were a little small, but sufficient for our needs. Only problem we had, was that the room was very warm.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
