We booked 2 rooms in this hotel (one single and one double) and were pleasantly surprised by both. The rates at the hotel were very good (which was the reason we booked our stay here) so we were not expecting anything special from the hotel, and we just wanted a base in Rome and somewhere clean to stay - we... We had read the reviews (the good and the terrible) and found the property and staff a very pleasant experience. The breakfast must have changed from the terrible reviews (or they were expecting an iHop?), as we found it had a nice spread of choice for our to mornings in the breakfast room. Out flight was early, and the desk... More

Registration staff was very rude. Room smells of cigarette smoke but they assured us that this is non smoking. Issues with wifi so we had to use a different room number to log on. Very noisy in next door room and the staff didn't seem to care. Staff was not helpful in answering questions about late car rental return, info... More

easy to walk from Roma Termini, easy to find. safety and silent district. with stores, gelato shop , clothes boutique and souvenir shop next to hotel. where you can get wine, drink, snacks, special shaped pasta (like bear pasta i bought) and Rome souvenirs before going back to hotel, without need to buy in tourist spots where selling the same... We stayed for 4 nights (Sept 26-30) at this hotel. The room is very clean, spacious with ceilings of 11-12 ft high provided good ventilation. Twin beds are large and comfortable, bathroom clean and adequate size. Our room is on the 4th floor facing back, very quiet. Staffs are efficient but serious and check in/out very quickly. We had fun... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in early July. Location is ideal for a city break. Within 5 mins walk from metro station. And ideally located for visiting Rome attractions. Room was spacious and well serviced.breakfast was the only downfall with tinned fruit and artificial orange juice. A little room for improvement.

Selected this hotel based on recommendations from friends and had a pleasant stay. Breakfast assortment was fine and the staff was helpful and professional. The room was clean and quiet. We didn't realize that we had to slip the room key into a slot to use the electricity in the room. After finding out about that I wondered why hotels... More

A very regular, standard and basic hotel. Location is good since it is close to Centrale (Central Station) .... Other than this, it has the normal small European standard rooms ... breakfast is minimal .... The staff was not that friendly!

Close to Termini and shops, the Mondial is in a great location. Our very pleasant room was spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served until 10.30am; a boon for holiday makers. The wide and plentiful choice could not be faulted. Hot food was available as well as cold. Friendly and efficient reception staff ensured that our stay was enjoyable.... More
