Breakfast: I understand this is a hotel breakfast so my expectations weren't exceptionally high, however canned fruit salad with fake red cherries and the limited selection were inadequate to fill my belly. 'bacon' was undercooked, extremely fatty and inedible. Coffee was the WORST I've had in Italy... for a country known for its food - this was a severe let... More

My wife and I are seasoned travelers. We've stayed at various parts of Italy the past 2 weeks. Although the rooms were modernized and adequate. It doesn't make up for the poor rude service by the male front desk workers. We inquired whether we could purchase "Roma passes" by credit card. They looked at us as if we were aliens,... More

We just got back from a two night stay (May 12-13, 2012). When looking at hotels to book and reading reviews, I was a little apprehensive but now know we made an excellent choice. Location was exceptional. All major sights were within walking distance (Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Colesseum, Pantheon). We even walked to Vatican City. The staff courteous, helpful... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in early May 2012. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the main Rome train station (Termini). Location was exceptional. All major sights were within walking distance (Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Colesseum, Forum, etc). Bus 64 stops right outside (stops at the Vatican after crossing the Tiber river). Rooms were always cleaned in timely... More

I am not one to say anything is terrible, but this hotel was our worst experience in Italy. The rooms are over 26 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit) and all the thermostats are locked. The front desk will not allow anyone to turn on the air. They said to us that "we cannot turn our air on yet." I think... More

During our stay we encountered several severe problems. The MAJOR problems are: 1. The hotel is currently UNDER RENOVATIONS with work starting AS EARLY AS 07:30 in the morning, including some work during weekends. 2. Only one small elevator functioning for the entire 5 floors!. 3. Only inside the hotel you see some small signs about the above. THERE IS... More

This hotel lies pretty much right outside of Termini station in Rome. The rooms are very small by American standards but very normal for Rome and other large European cities. But since it is operated by Best Western, Americans tend to be overrepresented there. So it is my theory that that's why it has slightly lower reviews than other local... More

Location is great, 30 meters from Republica, 300 meters from Termini. Rooms are spacius (Roma standard), it is maybe a bit overpriced. Used a garage, 30 Euro per day is a bit much, but conveniant. Next to a hotel is a great restaurant ("Cotto"). Breakfast is good, and staff is very nice. I talked out my Italian, but their English... More
