We stayed 3 nights at Mediterraneo Hotel as part of the Best of Italy tour by Globus. It was very nice, clean and inviting. Since our group arrived a day early, I had to work with the front desk to secure our luggage. I figured out which man had been identified as "rude" on Trip Advisor and I went out... More

Attending a conference in Rome, I was assigned this hotel. First time in Rome, so I didn't have much of a baseline. Clearly this was at one time a very grand hotel - the lobby is filled with wonderful architectural details and even the "emergency" staircase was built from solid blocks of marble. They don't build 'em like this anymore.... More

I've been looking for a decent hotel near Termini for longer that I could remember, never found it. Until today: a friend from Umbria suggested Hotel Mediterraneo and I ended up the happy occupant of a suite on the last floor of this hotel, just 1 1/2 block from Roma Termini, all for a price less that I paid last... I was here with a tour group and found the hotel lovely. The marble in the entry and lobby is beautiful. The rooms are not quite as flashy but it is in a great place and very clean. The view from the 10th floor is worth a lot.

My husband and I were there with Collette Vacations tour group April 20-23. Location is good, only a block from the train and bus station. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included with our room and was very good. Had specialty coffee machine foo. Rooms were clean and typical of European hotel room. Bathroom had shower only but was... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of an Italian tour package. The hotel was a very nice 4 star hotel with a great location for sightseeing in Rome. The Termini train/metro station was two blocks away, with many good restaurants located nearby. The 10th floor restaurant was also good, with a view of St. Peter's in... More

I stayed here for two nights during a business trip. The location was great next to the termini which made it easy to squeeze in plenty of sightseeing. The hotel foyer is beautiful, all shiny and marble. The rooms are not quite as flash but were still very comfortable. Wifi was a bit patchy. The restaurant on the 10th floor... More

Stayed here in April 2013 for two nights. Beautiful hotel, rooms are nice (again, not American-style nice, but lovely, clean, comfortable, quiet). Travelling with my sister-in-law, so we asked for a double room. Surprised that we had two twin beds instead of full-size, but that is apparently the norm in Europe. Great location for exploring historic Rome - close to... More

We stayed for three nights after coming back from Assisi by train and it was very convenient since is very close to the train station. The rooms were comfortable, especially the bathrooms. It was close enough to a lot of interesing places that we could walk. We did not encounter any problems with the hotel, but was not as cozy... More

My family and I stayed 2 nights here and we had two rooms on the 7th floor.
