I stayed 7 nights. 5 nights as an independent traveller and 2 as part of a tour group. Central location, easy access to termini, Metro, a couple of good museums very close by, lots of places to eat close by (varying degrees of quality). Laudromat & ironing service much cheaper than hotel prices along Via Principe Amedeo 70B near Via... More

The hotel staff has been wonderful & helpful! My room was a spacious superior twin bedded room facing the street, the hotel was clean and the restaurant staff was great too! I'd recommend this hotel to my clients and friends. My ONLY complaint was somebody was smoking on the 7th floor one night so it smelled funky in the morning.... More

A beautiful old-style hotel with large foyer area with comfortable chairs and a feeling of opulence...HOWEVER the staff from the people on the front desk to the breakfast room were off-hand, rude, unhelpful and superior. Unpleasant incident witnessed between a guest and the aggressive 'boss lady' of the restaurant, plates not cleared away, coffee (self-service) cold and at times the... More

We stayed at the Mediterraneo as part of a Globus tour. Our room was very clean and more spacious than we expected. We came a day early and found a king size bed for which we were grateful. Interestingly, the next day when the tour started, the king had been seperated into two twins! That was OK too. The breakfast... More

Nice hotel in the middle,of Rome, close walking distance to many attractions and nice eateries. 5 min walk from Roma Termini. Customer service is average for U.S. Standards. Hotel is an older building, but nice rooms, decent space for a hotel in the middle of Rome. Had a Family room which consisted of a King equivalent bed, with two pull... More

Nice size room, hard bed, older furniture and no coffee, tea or electric water kettle in the room. Good location in the city and plenty to do at night in walking distance. I enjoyed my stay here, but it is a basic room.

Stayed at this property 10/11-10/13/2014 with a Globus tour. Our room was very nice since it had been newly renovated. However the mattress was very uncomfortable. The hotel itself was lovely. Breakfast was good with ample choices despite many negative reviews. The location was prime being steps away from the train station, eateries and landmarks. My complaints would be that... More

We stayed at Mediterraneo Hotel from 10/17 to 10/20/14 on a Globus tour. The hotel and our room was immaculately clean, the beds were firm and very comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. Many thanks for being part of a wonderful experience in a lovely country.

The Mediterraneo hotel is the most picturesque and stunning hotel I’ve ever had the misfortune to stay in. It wasn’t altogether bad, but I’ve had much better and would have during my stay in Italy. I’m sure many people reading this will be staying in the Mediterraneo per the itinerary of Globus or Insight or any other tours with Rome... More

Despite claiming to be a nonsmoking room and floor, the hotel wreaked of smoke. There were people in the stairwells smoking and the halls smelled of smoke. We visited in October, and it should have been cool outside. Instead, it was quite warm. The room would not cool. The front desk said that they controlled it and would change it.... More
