Overall a good hotel with nice staff. The room was extremely HOT, and the air conditioning only works with a room key kept in a slot. If you leave a room key in the slot while you go out touring, the maid confiscates the key, thereby turning off the a/c and you having to go get another key at the... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of out Globus tour. Yes, the air conditioning is controlled by the front desk and they set it a little higher then we are use to back home but what are you doing in your room in the first place!! My wife and I explored the city for hours and... More

First stay we had to change room 3 times. First room was not what we requested. Second room was very HOT. We found out that the AC was controlled by the front desk, their solution was to move to another room. We found the bathroom dirty and still old used soap in the shower and mildew in the tub. Front... More

Third morning staying here and I am so tired. The beds suck. I have stayed in many hotels and the comfort of this is the worst. Also the walls are paper thin....... also was not impressed with the breakfast. However the hotel is in a good location, close to shopping attractions and food. The bar upstairs is nice and good... We stayed at this hotel as part of a Globus tour. The main complaint is the air conditioning which hardly seemed to function. When we first checked in, it didn't seem to be on at all so we were given another room. It was better, but still not great. Others in our tour group had a similar experience. The other... More

Had to beg to get our room to a comfortable temperature. Came with a group tour where several of our party had to change rooms for some comfort. It is old but fairly modern. Beds nice. Near the train station so Metro was easy. Breakfast buffet inclded in our group accommodations was the worst ever.

Location, location, location! This hotel is located one block from the main train station where all subway, buses and street trollies come together. The rooms are spacious and all the rooms along the front/side of the hotel have windows that open with a small balcony to stand on. There is a rooftop bar and its a great place to get... More

We spent two nights in the hotel prior to boarding a cruise. We were very early but the front desk was excellent in getting a room ready two hours before normal check in time. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was very good, especially when dining at the roof top restaurant with the panoramic city views.... More

We stayed here as part of a tour for a few nights at the end of July. The location was excellent. Just steps from the train station and street markets, and a short walk to The Basilica of st. Mary of the Angels and Martyrs (Michelangelo converted this into a church from a bath house...gorgeous). Also a 20-25 minute walk... More

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in the Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo during June this year. Having read reports on tripadvisor prior to booking we upgraded to a suite and were most pleased. A good sized bedroom with flat screen TV and electric shutters on the widow to shut out the hot sun and traffic noise. The lounge room was spacious... More
