The staff at Hotel Forum are super friendly, and all speak perfect English. Upon checking in, you get a card for a free drink in their bar on the top floor which has an awesome view. The hotel is only a block away from the colosseum, and there are ruins right in front. There are so many things to see... More

Stay away from this hotel. There is only 1 good thing about this hotel: the location. Persons at reception are unfriendly. When you ask questions, they shove flyers to your face and are in a hurry to get you out of their faces. Right outside this hotel is a very small alley but is actually a very busy street where... I used Trip Advisor originally to find the best location for a hotel in Rome. I did not want to taxi anywhere nor did I want to rent a car (crazy crazy drivers!!) While reading the reviews, I understood that a lot of folks thought Hotel Forum was the best location for walking ancient Rome AND IT WAS!! I looked... More

My family of five occupied two rooms over 3 nights at the Hotel Forum in Rome. Although the hotel is ideally located, its weaknesses outweigh this sole benefit. Our experience at this hotel was poor. Our rooms, situated at the far end of the hotel, were clean but definitely dated, and the bathroom in my room was tiny and poorly... More

It is a pity that you have not been satisfy with your stay but a technical problem can happen at every moment. One of the two rooms had the air conditionnng working well and the other room has the air conditionning half working. We have done everything we could with the maintenance staff to assist you, and we have even... More

Having just arrived back from our second trip to Amazing Rome we have once again been wowed. Unfortunately the same can't be said for this Hotel. Although we were not guests we wanted to have a meal and enjoy the view. We were welcomed in by the concierge and directed to restaurant. The dining room and views were stunning. Much... More

This hotel is well located just across the road from the Roman Forum and a short walk to the Colosseum and the Victor Emmanuelle building. It is not fancy but it is quaint and by Roman standards quite adequate. It clean and has helpful front desk staff. The roof top restaurant (also where you have breakfast) is definitely a highlight,... More

Amazing location literally surrounded by ruins. The wifi in the hotel was miserable and we had to keep complaining. The Air conditioner was not that cold, and one rooms AC was broken but they promptly moved us. The rooftop restaurant is wonderful and its view is great.

Dear Sirs, we thank you for the review. Really our hotel has a strategic view over the imperial Forum and Colosseum. During your stay we were changing our telephone company contract and for this reason the Wi-fi signoal wasn't strong. Now the technician finished his work and now everything is in order. More

The location of this hotel certainly can't be faulted, located as it is right across the road from the Forum and an easy walk to the Colosseum. The room was comfortable and clean but the television required a pair oft binoculars to see. Fortunately we weren't in Rome to watch TV, but at the price I would have expected a... More

We inform that we have modified the entire network to improve the WiFi and during the works of maintenance the company has to turn off the connection and it is now working well. In the rooms, we put the packaging of products that are prepared for hotels of 4 and 5 stars. If the guest needs anything else, he can... More

You can't beat the location of this hotel - it's a stones throw from the forum and colosseum. It's got a traditional feel - the rooms are simple but charming and a nice change from the modern hotel chains. The bathroom could do with a bit of updating though as the shower is a little basic. They were very accommodating... More

What a magnificent hotel! The staff was very accommodating - my wife and I were traveling with our two daughters. When we arrived the hotel desk clerk gave us a 2nd room next to our booked room for no additional charge! Our view from our room overlooked the Roman Forum. The food in the restaurant was great, and having drinks... More
