Nothing really good to say about this hotel .Staff all seem to have an attitude problem. No safety boxes ,No resturaunt open, No do not disturb signs and as we were on honeymoon we were walked in on many a time .I have stayed at better 2 star hotels. Hotel Rivoli is in a very interesting part of Rome. If you want to experience what life in Rome is like for natives, then stay here. There are good, authentic places to eat and the hotel has a good view of the residential areas from the balcony. The hotel is directly next to a junior high which is sometimes noisy.... more

Stayed at the Best Western Rivoli Hotel in the first week of June. Our room looked a little run-downed. Toilet didn’t work properly. Room was smaller than expected. Maid service was inconsistent and the air conditioning and fridge in room did not work. Front desk staff were not very customer oriented. Check your room before accepting it. We were in the basement. Dark, dingy, damp. Broken loo seat, Nearly electrocuted myself on the socket. No soap, tissues, loo paper. Ran out of food at breakfast. Dirty china, The foyer is the ony four star area. more
