Great location for discovering Rome on foot. Just right near the Villa Borghese, 10 minutes from Trevi. The rooftop restaurant for breakfast has a beautiful panorama over the city. You csn easily reach the main points of Rome as well as good restaurants.

We stayed here for 4 nights in August. I'll admit I was a little worried about staying at this hotel as there were many mixed reviews on it. However, our stay was very pleasant. As there was 4 of us we got a spacious sized room - 505, which was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. Easy to walk to main sites.... More

Honestly, this is a very nice hotel, for a three-star. Clean rooms, decent service, nice view from the restaurant. Slow but usable wifi. Unfortunately, it is billed as a four star hotel, which it just isn't.

Dear Niels C, we are sorry that you didn't perceive us as a four stars hotel, in Europe there isn't a common norme about the stars assigned to the hotel. We correspond fully to the regional norm regarding the hotels of the same category. Therefore we are glad you liked the room, the service and the view from the breakfast... More

I booked this room for its close proximity to the Fountain and the Steps. The price was very good and I was very happy with my choice. I was in room 507 which was very nice. The bathroom was a nice size and very clean. The front desk was helpful with directions and very pleasant. The breakfast was on the... More

The location of this hotel can't be beat - about a 10 minute walk from the Spanish Steps which was so nice. Also right around the corner from the Via Veneto. Walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants. We had a nice room on a higher floor with a balcony overlooking the Borghese Garden walls. Very quiet in the... More

the air con leaked all over our clothing in the wardrobe, thick walls from the outside but thin from the inside so very noisy with people going past the room all the time, nice breakfast and great dining room, receptionist at check-in seemed pretty dis-interested, all and all very average

We stayed her as a group of 9 of assorted ages and enjoyed our 2 night stay. The hotel is well located for Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain ( which is not operational by the way, dry and scaffolded up) and you can walk most places from here in about 30 minutes. We came by rental car and had... More

Short and sweet.... I stayed for a single night with my wife in July before we moved onto a better hotel. The location of the hotel is well placed near popular spots, but beyond that the hotel is below average. Never a 4 star hotel; 2 or 3 star at most. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable; the decor... More

Eliseo is a comfortable hotel in a great location. Very clean and comfortable rooms, nice staff and close to major attractions in Rome. Easy walk to the Spanish Steps. Dining and shopping close by. I would happily recommend this hotel to my friends.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
