I stood in the hotel two times. The first one it wasnt that good as the second time. The hotel was regenerated. It is now with good rooms. I have to say that the location is just perfect! Near to the metro station and to PIAZZA DI SPAGNA (my favorite spot in Rome).Totally recomend and I´m sure that I will return... More

I booked this hotel only 2 days before travel and I booked directly with the Hotel who also arranged the transfer from the airport. I received emails confirming booking and details of transport, the hotel was exactly as shown on the website so I was not disappointed, I booked a superior room which was contemporary well decorated and a lovely... My wife was pregnant and they did not bother to inform us earlier by any means of not having room availability (although we had reservations for the room 1,5 months earlier and re-checked our reservations 10 days before we arrived). They moved us to another hotel, more distant to the place we wanted to be close to. And I repeat... More

The hotel was exactly what we were expecting from a two star hotel and much more. The lounge was very inviting and beautifully decorated. First impression of the personnel was good and it didn't change during our stay. They were always happy to help with our questions. Breakfast included only white bread and marmelades, which we expected. Our room was... More

This was the second time we have stayed at this Hotel. More of the rooms have been upgraded, and are clean, modern, "edgy" and all with plasma TV's. I think at this stage, you still have to request the "superior" rooms. The location is great: a short walk to Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese. The breakfast room is fairly basic,... More

Our second visit to Rome so we stayed again at the Elite Hotel. Great location and more rooms have been renovated. We asked for the same room as last year and we had an even better room - larger but still with a view over the street. The lift (small as it is - 1 person + suitcase) made our... More

It was a pleasure staying at the Elite hotel. It's just in between the Spanish Steps, Bernini Fountain and Trevi Fountain. Excellent, excellent location, considering the price you pay, it is truly value for money. The facilities are no great shakes, the door handles falling apart, the hot water running out after a while, but these are minor instances. The... More

There are two entrances into Elite, the foyer which is modern and well decorated. The other is a dimly lit passage way which has peeling paint on the walls. On our arrival we were upgraded to a superior room on the second floor. The reception staff were friendly and courteous, who were able to make good restaurant recommendations. Its apparent... More

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Elite, we were upgraded to a superior double with out asking, the staff were friendly and informative. The hotel was clean and the room comfortable. Yes the decor may have been tired, but we were pleasantly surprised after some of the negative reviews

This hotel has two 'faces' If you only see the lobby and the renovated rooms, you would think it's a quality hotel. If you see the rest of the building, the breakfast hall, the elevator, the rest of the rooms, you would get a different idea. In general, the location is ideal, very close to the metro station and in... More
