Starting with the good points, the hotel's location is very good, from there you can literally walk everywhere! It's 300m to Barberini metro station, situated closest to Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Claudia from the reception was absolutely professional and friendly. The negative parts: - I found an insect twice, once on the bed sheet and one day later in... More

Great location only 300 meters from the Spanish steps. Rooms are, like other reviews say, small but kept very clean. We had room 207 on the second flor which is one of the renovated floors. With a new very nice and clean bathroom. Towels are included. Staff is very friendly though not all of them is fluent in English. There... More

Despite the old-fashioned and tiny rooms, this hotel is still a great budget hotel in Rome. The rooms and the hotel are clean, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location. Also, there is air conditioning. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers who won't be spending much time in the room... More

Great location, friendly staff, breakfast only white bread/pastry, butter, marmelade, juice, coffee and tea, rooms small and furniture old and worn out. Very clean rooms, though, if you travel on a budget this hotel is a fair and decent choice. I would stay here again even though the rooms are small - but you get what you pay for, if... More

If you want to visit tourist attractions location is good, but if you want to go clubbing and see some other people than you in the night you better search a hotel from near trastevere for example. Older rooms are not clean! Our room had more dust than many carages. The floor was so old that pieces of wood got... More

If you are looking for a great budget hotel in Rome, this is it! The location is perfect--right near the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain (and within walking distance to the Pantheon and Borghese Gallery)...the neighborhood is great and we felt very safe at night. It is also close to a Metro stop so you can get to the Vatican,... More

Was pleasantly surprised by this little hotel but for the price we paid it was all you need for a budget break to Rome. Amazing location just round from the Spanish steps. Rooms very small but clean. Only issue was with the water running cold in shower as came from overhead tank! Breakfast was nice all you need and reception... More

The rooms of the picture are superior and higher rates, the ones on the rate were increadible small (even for europe) We use the rooms to sleep only, so space is usually not an issue but this were increadibly small. Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
