We booked with Voyages Prive . Did not have time to research the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised by the standard . Rooms very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast catered for all, with both hot and cold food ,fresh fruits, and lovely freshly baked pastries , The 7th floor restaurant offered some of the best food we sampled on our... More

This is a classic Roman hotel with lovely wood panelled foyer and marble floors. It is located moment from the Euclide tram station which means one is 20 minutes or less from all the attractions of Rome (unless you want to walk as we did, which gives one a wonderful sense of the streets of Rome). The room we had... More

I think the English translation of this would be 'soft open', but 'rough open' was the term used on the letter we were given at check-in, and it's hard to disagree. This hotel is not ready for prime-time yet. On the upside the location is good, the service wasn't bad at all, and the rooms are comfortable. I also thought... More

I have stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago and commented that it was no longer a Grand Hotel and that it needed some maintenance. I forgot about the place but had to stay in the Grand Ritz as the other hotels I normally use when in Rome were fully booked. It was a surprise to learn that... More

The staff is helpful and polite, the rooms are clean. That's it. I can't believe this is a Ritz, and a newly renovated grand Ritz too !!. The elevators barely hold 3 people, breakfast very basic, the lobby is dead. I could have lived with the price, except for the rooms: First they are small, furnished without any sense of functionality.... More

My first trip to Rome was made all the more spectacular by staying in this hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. On a map, the hotel seems far from the city but it has great transport options which allow you to escape the noise and heat of the city centre. The room was spacious, comfortable and... More

We stayed in the Grand Hotel Ritz for 5 days for our honeymoon. We stayed in the superior room, the same exactly how it is shown on the website. The room was very clean and during our stay the cleaning was by far the best I have seen. The room was fully cleaned, changed and tidied every morning and tidied... More

We stayed here based on the information provided; free parking and shuttle bus every 30 min. When we arrived none of it was true. We tried to cancel our room and move to the city center but the hotel management refused to speak to us. We tried multiple times via booking.com but also they couldn't reach the management. Receptionists (non-decision... More

My wife and I stayed in a junior suite in the grand hotel ritz, rome for five days in September. The cost was only slightly more than a normal room in some 3 star hotels we had considered which were near the main sites. (We booked directly with the hotel which had an offer on at the time.) The hotel... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
