This was our best selection out of 4 for hotels in Italy. The hotel is within walking distance of everything there is to do in historic Rome. When we weren't touring, the hotel was a great place to relax. Every morning we got a good start with their fantastic breakfast consisting of tasty, wholesome and varied food choices. In the... More

Location is everything at this hotel. You can walk to so many things and many great restaurants. From walking in the door I guess I was expecting a more upscale hotel. The lobby is pretty non-discript and the hallways are up and down a few steps to the right, then left..... just cut up. Our room, a superior double was... More

Dear Guest, thank you for having taken the time to describe your experience at the Hotel Barocco. By reading the title of your review I had the feeling that you had difficulty in describing your stay, since you perceived certain elements which didn't quite meet your requirements. The underlying problem seems to be the fact that you had a different... More

From the great breakfast choices, location to Trevi Fountain and the Metro, to the wonderful concierge who was so helpful in making our dinner reservations for 2 nights, the Hotel Barocco was the perfect oasis in Rome. Tasteful decorations and lots of storage room along with the added little tokens of appreciation during our stay would prove to be a... More

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is charming with great rooms and new modern bathroom facilities. It was our favorite hotel of the entire trip! You will not be disappointed if you choose this hotel. The breakfast in the mornings was absolutely fantastic as well! The homemade omlettes were to die for!

Hotel Barocco was our last stop during a two week trip to Italy, and it was a fantastic end to a wonderful trip. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed, and we had a nice view of Piazza Barberini and its fountain from our room. Breakfast was nice, and the hotel bar was a quiet place to reflect on our... You will be paying a higher price but you will be satisfied with your clean, orderly room with private bath. The location at Barberini Plaza places you walking distance to most attractions in Rome: the forum & Colisseum, Borghese Museum, and Vatican City. There are plenty of excellent, but expensive, restaurants within a couple of blocks or literally, just up... More

I recently stayed at the Hotel Barocco in May12 for a personal holiday with my better half, and I have to say I thought it was a fantastic all-round hotel option for all manners of tourist and business professional. Working in the travel industry myself I have frequented a lot of hotels - as well as having stayed in Rome... More

A truely fabulous April week in a wonderful hotel, with a beautiful room & terrace (overlooking the Barberini piazza) which was kept spotless throughout our stay. The bed was especially amazing - soooo comfortable. The hotel staff where extremely helpful & attentive at all times. The breakfasts were gorgeous & pre dinner cocktails made to perfection by very knowledgable barmen. An... More

The friendliness and dedication to service of the staff was a highlight. Can't remember better. The only shortcoming was lack of a restaurant, but with so many available within a block or so, this is a minor issue. The location was ideal for access to the metro and buses going to the things we wanted to see. We stayed at... More

Highly recommended- Friendly and helpful staff, very clean room and superb location. Bathroom was clean and though we stayed on a higher level (5th floor) the water pressure at night and in the day time for the shower was fine! Breakfast- good selection of bread/ cereal/ ham/ cheese/ sweets and eggs. Location-within walking distance to the Spanish Steps and Trevi... More
