We recently spent 4 nights (post cruise) here. This was our second trip to Italy and we were so pleased with this little hotel. Before we booked we looked at every hotel in Rome for days and days but always returned to the Barocco listing. The hotel's reception was very friendly with a nice young bellman who stored our luggage... more

This hotel is situated perfectly to walk to all of Rome's major attractions. The staff was wonderful, the room a little small but immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. There was a huge selection of great restaurants within a block or two. We really loved our stay here. Great linens too! more

My wife and I spent 3 days at your hotel October 8th to the 11th it was more than we expected. Your location is just perfect, our room was great and your service was definitely top self. The breakfast was outstanding, a lot more then we imagined. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate your hotel a 10 in... more

We stayed for 4 nights; service was friendly, some staff more so than others. Staff was helpful in making dinner reservations when we provided the restaurant information, however not so good with making recommendations. Our 1st floor room was small as expected, but more outdated than we had hoped for. Bed was very uncomfortable and the natural light was lacking,... more

We stayed here between 17 and 22 October and found the location to be ideal for visiting all the tourist sites. Our room was no. 34 and directly overlooked the piazza. Although the piazza is busy the room was triple glazed and we had no difficulty sleeping at all. My only complaint would be that we could have done with... more

The Barocco is like having a little condo nestled into a big, quick-moving city. The rooms are nice, the breakfasts amazing, the staff very pleasant, and the bar a little haven to come back to after a long sightseeing day. The entrance is off the main street, tucked away and the rooms are so soundproof you can't hear a pin... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the Barocco for six nights in a double classic room. The bedroom had enough space for us, tastefully decorated, and the woodwork was beautiful. The dressing room and bathroom were located behind the bedroom, down a few steps, which made the room seem much bigger. Our room was on the 3rd floor on... more

My daughter and I spent two nights here after a week in Sicily. The hotel was very nice- well situated for walking to major attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged a car and driver to take us to the airport - and it was better than a taxi (cost less, too). They also recommended a restaurant... more

My partner and I stopped at Barocco from 30th Sept - 5th Oct. For a very modest upgrade fee, we took the 'Junior Suite', so this review relates to that, rather than the standard rooms. The first thing you need to know about this hotel is that it is situated in a beautiful but BUSY piazza. If you are in... more
