I loved this hotel! It was so elegant and comfortable. Everything I wanted in a hotel....SAFE; clean; GREAT STAFF; quiet; free wifi; free breakfast; lounge for relaxing in the evening; great location; near a taxi stand; roomy rooms with comfortable beds; within walking distance to statues/fountains; non-smoking; did I say GREAT STAFF? They are truly great!! Front desk spoke English... More

This was our first time in Rome, and our travel agent selected this hotel for us. We were delighted with the staff, the location, the very delicious breakfast each morning, and the special touches the staff provided. We expected a center-city hotel to have small rooms, but we were surprised and delighted by the roomy upgraded bathroom and shower. Near... More

I chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and liked it very much. The staff is all English speaking, kind and helpful. The first day there, they left a hand written message, a bottle of wine and plate of fruit welcoming us. Good advice on restaurants and great breakfast included buffet. Absolutely only "complaint" is that, as with many... More

It was very difficult choosing a hotel in Rome! We were very happy with this hotel. It is in a great area and the staff was wonderful. The rooms were lovely, although a bit noisy outside if you like to sleep with the windows open....but that is our only complaint.

A fabulous gem of a boutique hotel in a prime location. The room was very comfortable clean and of a high standard. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and recommended some fabulous places to eat. The location was brilliant and within easy walking distance of the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. However the... More

We and my family (6 persons) travelled to Italy and stayed in Roma for 3 nights. We decided to stay in Hotel Barocco due to the localization and we loved everything! The area is great and is closed to everything. We were able to do most of tour by walking or by metro. The hotel infra was awesome - clean,... More

What does one need from a hotel? Great comfort, the feeling of being completely cared-for, advantageous position? The Barocco has all these. It is a two minute walk from the Barberini Metro (in a city where Metro stops are few and far between) and therefore equally close (3 to 10 min walks) from other local features (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps,... We have stayed at this hotel several times, and will continue to do so on our next visit to Rome, The rooms are extremely comfortable, the staff are very friendly and helpful, in fact they go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and smooth. The breakfast is wonderful, and fresh. Everything the hotels offers is of an... More

Rome is a bit of a challenge when it comes to hotel selection. Big brands are not well located and centre of the city is dominated by boutique hotels of varying quality. On our visit Hotel Barocco proved to be one of the better establishments. Old building and Italy mean that there were some small compromises with our room, but... More

This is by far one of the best hotels I have been to, both in the U.S. and over seas. The service is impeccable, the rooms are great and the food was perfect! As soon as I left I started planning my next trip to Rome and you can be sure I will stay here again.
