Stayed at the Barocca last weekend for two nights. Having arrived from Ireland for a two night break we were treated with first class customer service by all the staff. Breakfast was excellent, location was very convenient and close to some of Rome's major landmarks. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here and found the staff very cheerful, helpful and friendly. A welcome basket of fruit together with a voucher for a complimentary drink was waiting for us in our room when we arrived and a personal hand written thank you note was left in our room on the last night together with some... Room small but fine. Queen-sized bed. Outstanding breakfast: hams, cheeses, fruits, wonderful breads, and much more. Staff was very friendly and helpful, directed us to excellent restaurants in the area.

Just returned from a wonderful few days in Rome, The Barocco Hotel is lovely , we arrived early but checked in straight away with no problem, the rooms were a nice size and immaculate, with lots of nice touches. The staff are very friendly and breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice for us all. I would recommend this hotel... More

We stayed at the Hotel Barocco on the last stop of our honeymoon and it was fantastic!!! We were upgraded (twice) to a gorgeous room and over the week that we stayed there were gifted bottles of wine and cakes with lovely notes congratulating us on our recent wedding and thanking us for staying at their hotel. The staff were... More

How fortunate is this hotel to have such a wonderful group of dedicated and professional staff! Without doubt their attitude, cheerfulness, helpfulness and knowledge added the often missing element to a stay. We booked our visit for a special birthday holiday, part of an extensive European trip. We love Italy; Rome is a favorite, so we had to find the... More

The hotel was in a very good location with many landmarks nearby and at the centre! I would give a 9/10 for the location ! You have to search a little for the hotel because its hidden on to the side of a building. We booked a superior double room. The hotel was very average because the rooms were very... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend in January, we had a standard double room (31) which had just been renovated and refurbished. The room was immaculate, a nice size with plenty of storage too. The bathroom was a good size, nice big shower and basic toiletries provided too. Our room didn’t really have a... More

We spent New Year's in Rome and stayed at this lovely Little Hotel in central Rome. Staff was exceptionally friendly and competent. They tried everything to make our stay a Special one. The Hotel is centrally located near Piazza Barberini which is in walking distance of a lot of major attractions. There is free WiFi and the breakfast is great.... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
