Very nice stay in Hotel Caprice. Great location, between Barberini and Villa Borghia. The staff is excellent : they all are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome, there is so much choice. Overall, it was a great experience and I had a fantastic time there.

It was a clean modern hotel in the heart of Rome, only half a minute walk from via venetto the most fabulous road of the city. We enjoyed our stay as we were so close to piazza di spagna piazza del tritone and the neighbourhood was really glamorous. We also got at villa Borguese within ten minute walk.

We stayed here 5 nights and our experiance with this hotel was very good. All the staff members are excellent, the hotel is very clean. Location is perfect, you can reach every important sights in 20 minutes. Our room was on the 4th floor, it was very simply, but good and clean. It was little bit noisy, because of the... More

Just feel the City. And I stop here for 10 years, every time. As the house of my friends. I think you will be able to find fault with the choice for breakfast. but you will not be hungry. and if you are not satisfied you are in Rome. Hotel has a very good location, with easy access to metro station, restaurants.. very near Spanish steps & Hard Rock cafe is just around the corner. It was clean, nice decor and service was good, but not great. Room was quite small and bathroom too, but ok. Bed was not comfortable at all, it was too firm and I had... More

Hotel Caprice was a strange mix of modern and outdated. The rooms had a very sleek modern update, but the staff attitude and customer service left much to be desired. I upgraded to a room with a balcony which made it ok, but otherwise I think they need to get a real hotel manager in who can teach the staff... More

great location, great smiling service, It was more than I expected. The room was compact and comfortable; Quiet, modern, clean and very pleasant. Please note that following the recommendations we requested non-smoking room. Also, The elevator is tiny so we prefered the usage of the stairs.

The hotel was a bit Monty Pythonish. I wrote an article, watching the comings and goings of the hotel as I worked on the internet in the lobby because there was no internet in my room. "Why isn't there internet" the man at the desk queried me. I figured that should be my question) "I don't know" I said and... More

As I am not used to writing negative reviews, I find this quite difficult but I feel that if you don't want to be extremely disappointed in your accommodation, I need to write this. My husband and I stayed for 7 nights. When we arrived we were not greeted nicely and was taken to a room which was dull, extremely... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
