Recently stayed here for two nights in the standard room, it was clean and neat but very small. There was not enough room for us and two suitcases in the room so we were constantly stubbing toes and tripping, any longer than two nights and I would have gone crazy but ok for a short stay. It was a good... More

Great location, Piazza di Spagna very close, Palazzo Barberini also, Vatican City not far as well as the Foro Romano. The room was small, but charming and very clean as well as the bathroom. The restaurant should be a bit bigger to give some more comfort to the guests during the breakfast. Nice offer for the money you pay!

A very bad experience! It was one problem after another! 1. On the first day the shower flooded the bathroom floor after only 5 minutes of running! 2. The second day the Air conditioning unit leaked water, we informed reception and they told us to turn it off and not to use it as they would send someone to fix... More

The location is very convenient. The staff was very accommodating during our stay. Good sized room for Rome. And the room was nice and quiet, no hotel or street noise, so slept well. Good to get free wi-fi, and all for a fairly reasonable price. The breakfast was very good.

hotel caprice has a very good location, next to via veneto (50 m) and villa borgheses (200m). and, if you're not lazy, you can go by foot to all historic sites of rome. shopping sites like via corso and via tritone are close. prices are fair considering the location. first impressions - a dusty lobby and the tiny lift -... Room - The room is very small (specially the bathroom), but its mostly new and clean. TV - very small (14 inch I guess) with no external ports like usb or HDMI. Elevator - very small, max for 3 persons and good luck fitting there 2 ppl with couple of bags. Breakfast - served in a small room with a... More

The rooms are much smaller than we thought from the pictures, and there was a lot of dust and hair all over the place. The bathroom smelled funny, and it was cold! Very small elevator. Friendly staff, but nothing extra... Free wifi, but it didn't work very well.

We hosted in the hotel on march - the location was very good - walking distance to the spanish stairs and fontana di trevie Hot water all day long, clean and nice rooms, great service by the hotel stuff, simple breakfast as popular in Europe (but with excelent Coffee!) Loved it.

Booked this hotel as it was the first place I stayed in Rome in 1968 and knew the location from other trips over the years. Staff was great from the front desk to the great breakfast room (ok it's small, but not a big deal). Room was fantastic, renovated, not too small and GREAT view from the balcony which was... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
