Plus points are the location, service, cleanliness, style, breakfast and working air conditioning. There is only one downside, and that's the size of the room (a tad on the small side). Having said that, and having been to Rome before, room size can be very variable even in the same hotel, and it's not like we were living there. Would... More

Before going to Siena we spent 2 nights at Hotel Caprice. It is right in the city and you can walk to so many sights. Our room was recently renovated and was very modern. The rooms however are much smaller than anything in the States. The breakfast is okay, not a lot of variety. The staff are very nice. If... More

Clean and convenient, the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are tiny but workable, fairly quiet on the back side of the hotel. And if the cabbies don't know where the hotel or Via Liguria are, you can always just say "Cicacica Boom", which is the lap dance place next door. The cabbies ALL know where that is.... More

This was mine and my husband's first trip to Rome. I'm very well-travelled being a travel agent but my husband is not. I wanted a place that was very clean, modern, quiet, and in a good location. With the Caprice Hotel we found all this. It is walking distance (15 mins) to the areas of Trevi Fountain/Spanish Steps but still... More

Location wise - perfect. From this hotel we were able to walk everywhere when we visited Rome from Santa Giovanni Laterno to Borghese gardens, Colosseum, Vatican city, Trevi fountain and all the places in between. So close to Spanish steps and good shopping. Our room was comparable with all others we had stayed in throughout Italy regarding size and was... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in April and found the hotel and staff to be perfectly fine. The location is good and the breakfasts are too. Two complaints: First, only one English speaking cable channel and it seemed to run a program about rural electrification in Uganda on a continuous loop, no other programming. Especially annoying... Rooms very modern & appears to have been recently renovated. Room also clean & adequate size for two people. Breakfast had little choice but food was tasty. The hotel is just off the via veneto which is a great location. Close to Spanish steps & trevi, plus there are plenty restaurants on via veneto. Only -ve is that lift is... More

I've been in this hotel with my parents and my boyfriend. I was thrilled to find this hotel because Rome lacks good options. I loved the location. However, let me say that it was the most dirty hotel I've ever been and I have stayed in 2 starts hotels...This hotel has stains all over the walls and bathroom. Even worse,... More

We stayed at the Caprice on a weekend trip to Rome and the location was perfect, quiet but very central with the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain only a 5 minute walk away. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and good recommendations on where to eat. Room was clean and although a little small, fine for our needs. Don't... More
