Hotel was great, good room and lovely roof terrace, the hotel was quite little traffic noise, only critism was noise from the emptying the bins on street at 5.00 am every morning but my guess is that the same would be true anywhere on many streets in Rome.

a beautiful hotel within walking distance from the center and all the interesting points of city staff, but very good up there, some of the rooms small and not beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast room is nothing special as breakfast. I would not go a second time although most hotels of Rome is in this style.

Marcella Royal is a charming hotel. I stayed here in 2007 as a solo female traveller and I felt really safe and cozy. I returned with my husband April 2012 and we both really enjoyed the charm of this hotel again!

Marcella royal hotel wasn't as close to sites as I was told. For example, Spanish steps is suppose to be 10 min walk and it took me about 25 minutes to get there and I wasn't taking my time either.
