I had a fabulous room with tea/coffee making facilities. Comfy matress with extra pillows and blanckets. Safe easy to use. Large bathroom slightly doggy shower head. Very quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good selection at breakfast. Location is great, easy reach of main shopping areas, Spanish steps. The road with the hotel on has variety of resturants all serving... I stayed at the Sistina for one night before checking in to my previously reserved hotel. The lobby is small and a little shabby. I was given a key and assigned a room, but on the way to the room, was switched by the hotel maid. I had a single room, the smallest I have ever experienced. It had a... More

Located just a couple blocks from the top of the Spanish Steps, you are in as good a location as is possible for sightseeing in Rome. Room was worn and needed a good over haul. Mattress had seen better days, and the air-conditioning labored to keep the room at 72F. Small elevator, and then several small stairs to get to... More

We were transferred here for one night as we had been double booked in our own hotel, through no fault of our own, although the guy checking us in acted as though we were a huge inconvenience to him, he took both our passports for photocopying, then handed us a key and gave me a questioning look when I asked... We spent 11 nights at the hotel sistina, I am writing this on day 6 so don't think I will be moving out, The hotel is easily located only a few hundred meters from the metro stop Barberini which is great when carrying luggage, On our first day we checked in no problem, got to our room and found the... well, I don't know from where I should start, it was easy to find due to an excellent location, but than, it became a totally different story. It should be a 4 star hotel so I booked it for that and the good price, but I didn't expect that there is no Porter staff was available in check-in and check-out... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in July. It is really well situated in the city, close to the metro, restaurants and sights. We stayed there on 2 occasions, first time the room was dated, however the 2nd time we got room 108 and it was lovely, a bit more up to date and very spacious. Lovely hotel,... More

Good location, but I can't see how this is a four star hotel. Needs a major overhaul. Carpets in halls were musty. Rooms were very tired and yesteryear. Front desk staff were not very accommodating, Bathroom was big and decent. Breakfast included but fair, not great.

I have stayed in this hotel numerous occasion for the simple fact that I truly love the location and charming little street where it is located. The hotel is surrounded by some of the best restaurants in the Spanish steps area, and since it is on the superior level of the steps the restaurants are not nearly as touristic and... More

Booked the hotel as part of the deal and thought it will be a classic centrally located hotel. Well, I couldn't be more wrong! The hotel is indeed centrally located for all the important sites in Rome, just a stone's throw from Piazza Barberini one one side and the Spanish steps on the other. The room we got (108) was...
