This a great location for a hotel in Rome. Walk out your door & you are right on the Via Corso. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The rooms were clean, sort of on the small side. The wifi had a very strong signal. Our room was quiet. Every morning we would go up to the rooftop room for... More

Hotel staff were mostly friendly and it was clean with a good breakfast selection served on the roof. However, we had been booked into single rooms by mistake which they offered to change for us for the next day. The main problem was the noise of loud music until 4am, we had thought it was a bar nearby but couldn't... More

Close to the heart of Rome with walking distance to everything. Clean hotel with friendly staff. Best restaurant on the roof! Great food! Discount for the restaurants nearby. The only bad thing was the Wi-Fi, slow and got disconnected.

My family have previously stayed in this hotel so it came recommended. It has an excellent location for sight seeing as it is within walking distance of Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain, villa Borghese, Colosseum and pantheon to mention a few. We stayed there for 5 days in a family room in the new section of the hotel (just beside the... More

This hotel is more "up market" than you might think. Rooftop restaurant provides a nice selection of breakfasts and you get some decent views of this part of the city. There is pleasant piano lounge and a few reasonably priced restaurants nearby including one next door which appears to be owned by the hotel (10% off with your room card).... More

The hotel is tucked away in a little side street not far from Piazza Popolo. This is a great location for a visit to Rome. The hotel although small has all the facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The staff from front of house to waiting are excellent. There is a funky roof top restaurant bar area... More

The Perfect Hotel! Centrally located by the Spanish steps and Via Del Corso the Hotel Valadier was a fabulous find. Gorgeous rooms and common areas each with their own distinction. The lounge and restaurant on the top floor allowed us to sit inside or out and had a fabulous view. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've had.... More

Overall good experience, recommended. Good location, just a few yards from the Piazza del Popolo. rooftop restaurant is very pleasent, both day & night. will book there again, but this time i'll spring for the larger room. The standard is a bit tight.

Had a lovely experience staying at Hotel Valadier, they went out of their way to look after us providing an excellent service. Would definitely stay here again if back in Rome, as is in great location, within walking distance of everything you could possibly want to see. The breakfast they provide is really good, with an amazing view from the... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
