Very good location. Easy walk to subway and most of the popular sites. Free breakfast had good quality food and lots of variety. Room was small but very clean, 80s decor. Biggest complaint is that room had no window whatsoever. more

I loved this hotel. I love going on city breaks and never spend any time in a hotel other than to sleep. On this trip to Rome, I went with my mum and we got an excellent deal on this hotel via lastminute.com (I have noticed that their rates have climbed a little since we went last year). The Valadier... more

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Valadier for 2 nites. The hotel is in a great location, very close to Flaminio station, walking distance to the Spanish Steps and we even walked all the way to the Colosseum. The hotel rooms are small but this is Europe and you can not expect US sized rooms. It was plenty big... more

Be prepared for a tiny room, staff that take advantage of those who don't speak Italian and an AC that spits out hot air. The taxi called to the airport was owned by the hotel. He dropped us off at the wrong terminal almost causing us to miss our flight. Terrible value for the extraordinary price. more

This is an upscale conversion of a Roman townhouse so the rooms are VERY small. If it were a railway carriage you would marvel at how they had got everything in there. The rooms have mirrors all over the place (including the ceiling!) to make it look bigger. The hotel is however well located and 10 mins from Flaminio on... more

I read the reviews of this hotel before booking. So, my expectations were not high, never having been to Rome. After staying at the Valadier for 8 days, I can definately say that I would use this hotel again. First, the staff were all excellent English speakers and more than willing to help in any way they could. Some people... more

My wife and I are both 30 years old and stayed at the Valdier for 2 nights in May. We had heard that hotels in Rome were not the best, but for the high price we paid per night I was expecting more. The window in our room, well there might as well not have been one. Our view was... more

The service personnel were accommodating and spoke English. The rooms were tiny and had beds as hard as the floor. It was awful. The AC did not work and the walls were so thin...we could here everyone go in and out of their rooms. Think about this....our room had 7 walls and was supposed to be in the shape of... more
