We stayed for 4 nights at the hottest part of July. The room was cool, very comfortable and clean, no noise from the street, air conditioning was a little noisy but very effective. Bathroom was large enough and looked modern. Lots of shampoos, lotions, soaps etc, but no hair conditioner at all. Wi-fi was slow and only for 4 devices... More

Not impressed at all... Breakfast was not so nice and the bathroom was not to 5 star standard... The only nice thing about it was the location... And the worst part was the dinner,, the scallops were boiled and the tomatoes candied,, the worst plate of food ever...

Very central location. Very helpful staff who spoke English well. We had open mini bar and complimentary drinks at the bar. We only stayed one night and had to leave very earlier next morning. A wake up call was arranged and taxi waiting for us. Close to excellent resturants and walking distance to many attractions.

We got there at midnight. Fabio was wide awake and greeted us warmly. The lobby feels old. The furniture is fading. I had read the reviews in TripAdvisor and was worried. This all changed when we got to our room. It was of a nice size, with a small balcony overlooking the Via Venetto. Very nicely appointed. The bed was... More

This is a very nice hotel. The room and bathrooms are big and nicely decorated. The location is excellent, in walkindistance to the Spanish steps and the villa Borghese park. Lying on a some what famouse street, Via Veneto, there are lots of restaurants close to the hotel. The rooms in the hotel is quiet and its a good base... More

I love this hotel, it's a beautiful building with 150 rooms, the staff are so helpful and friendly, all smartly attired and professional. The suites are out of this world, we stayed in a superior room and it was just gorgeous. We had the 2 Juliette-balcony windows above the Hard Rock Cafe (we're 1st floor just above) so I feel... I chose to stay in Rome for 7 nights.. big mistake on my part as I only needed 5. But since I had reserved the room for 7 I had to stay. The hotel was a dream. the best part was that my favorite American Restaurant was right next door... The Hard Rock. So since I was a little tired... More

We loved this hotel. We traveled with a large group (16 including a 2 year old and a 7 year old). All the rooms were lovely including two that held the king size bed and a twin. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, helping us with sightseeing and gelati suggestions. The concierge did not steer us wrong when it... More

We stayed at the Ambasciatori Palace Hotel prior to a Windstar cruise of the Italian/French Riviera. The location of the hotel is near the Trevi Fountain and not far from other cultural landmarks in Rome which was nice. The facility seems to be in the process of a facelift. The public spaces and the hotel facade appear to have been... More

I believe that this and the other hotels on Via Veneto used to be the glamour and pride of Rome in terms of hotels and although this place has been maintained very well, it did feel a bit dated and could use some refurbishment. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay here and had some comfortable nights. Staff was very accommodating and... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
