Since the moment we arrived we immediately noticed the high quality of this beautiful hotel. Right away, it showcased the professionalism and courtesy of the personnel. Signore Marco told us that even though we were early for our check-in they would take care of our luggage and right away set us up with a hotel safe for safekeeping of our... More

Nice hotel next door to the hard rock. Friendly staff, small bar but nice. I would recommend this place to a friend. Harry's Bar is within walking distance. Sinatra used to stop in and sing. Classy, old school place to go.

The hotel had a nice welcome and gave us a free upgrade to suite, as a newly weds gift, which is a nice touch from the hotel. The suite was big, with a nice classic furniture. The breakfast was nice, a good selection of food, but it could be better. Nothing bad about the hotel really; Good location, staff and... More

We paid top rate for 5 nights for the New Year but very disappointed. The hotel is not a 5 star at all. Nothing can be recommended except the location. All facilities are very old. Bed, curtians, furnitures in the room are so old and in poor condition. The door could never been locked properly inside unless we gave a... More

It does need renovation even though some times you think you spent some days in a well preserved museum like hotel room and it is romantic when you have it's nice view in Via Vittorio Veneto The service was good and polite, they brekfast was good but it could be better. Thee best was the location, perfect for exploring Rome... More

Spent four nights at this hotel last weekend. I have to admit that I was rather disappointed. The lobby is old but beautiful and the service at the lobby was fine. I got room 301 and what a disappointment. The size of the room was good compared to Europe. The bathroom was very spacious with a tub. The room was... More

The Ambasciatori was part of our Windstar post cruise package. Our experience here, from the get go, was unimpressive. Check in was unorganized and confusing with one Windstar group coming and one leaving. The hotel has a fairly good location, but is old and in need of a refreshment and facelift. Our hotel experience is quite extensive and we have... More

We stayed two nights in this hotel after a cruise. The room was decorated in a charming, antique style. It was conveniently located on the Via Veneto. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
