It is not a 5 Star for sure . Location is very Good . I first got a very bad room on the 1st floor then a standard room on the 3rd floor after complaining. No Iron Board , Coffee Maker or even tissue in the rooms . Bathroom better than the room . Breakfast not Bad. It is a... More

I am not sure that this Hotel can really continue to qualify as a 5 star establishment. A significant investment is required in refurbishment and updating facilities. While well situated by Via Veneto it no longer carries the prestige it once did and in comparing pricing you should look to reasonable 4 star accommodation in order to determine the value... More

I've been lucky to strike a good deal for my staying in Ambascatori taking advantage of an offer. Judging from similar experiences in the past in other hotels, I was a bit sceptic if they can offer what they promised. To my positive surprise this time, everything was excellent. We had an excellent room just as promised. Extremely clean and... More

It wasn't a pleasant experience. The twin bed is tiny and kind of hard to sleep on. Since it was pouring we decided to have dinner inside hotel. The food is not good and the service was horrible! Waited too long for the food and the bill. It almost took half an hour for them to take the bill over... More

Stayed 2 nights before a cruise. Had a huge very nice room. Friendly helpful English speaking staff. Good big breakfast buffet. Don't know that I would have stayed here for the posted price. Cruise price as much better. Good location. Lots of good restaurants near by.

Service is five star but the hotel is getting tired. Rooms are lacking in basic requirements. No hair conditioner but lots of shampoo. No tissues at all. Had to ask for extra pillows. Power point wall plates falling off the wall. (Reported). The breakfast was good but an evening meal was horrible and certainly not four star. Needs work......

The location in good, near by a park and not in a tourist place in Rome's up town area. With a nice café shops and fine restaurants. There is a Hard Rock Cafe nearby. The area is a bit expensive compared to others part of the city. The breakfast is a typical one. Don't use the laundry services, better to... More

Me and my family stayed here for a few days in April from 14th till 19th and it was amazing! Great servise, close to everything. You can walk to the Piazza Barberini, to the Pantheon, to Via Sistina and all the tourist places near by. Simply wonderful. Recomend it for sure. Great place to stay! Definately come back again! :)

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
