I stayed here for 2 weeks and was happy overall ~ considering how cheaply I got it in a travel package. Pros : Less than a 5 minute walk from the Termini which is the major bus, train, and subway station in Rome. VERY convenient. If you go for a 5 minute walk you will pass at least 50 restaurants,... This hotel was so convenient to the station . We found it very easily a short walk away in a nice street. We were pleasantly surprised how much this whole area of Rome has been tidied and improved since othe times we have stayed near the station. The staff were ok and our room was very comfortable and clean. We... More

5😂-2If 2you want to have an unplaisant stay in Rome, choice this place. The rooms are very not loocking as the web site, it is smaller then you can imagine, the shower have a lot of mold , the air conditionning is working as maximum 25 degrees, so everithing was poor. Dont loose your time, money and pleasure to stay... More

The hotel location is very good, queit location ( not like the hotels near Termini station). The rooms were a little bit old (furniture). The breakfast was boring (the same everyday, not so many choices). The stuff was good und helpful.

Ok hotel. At the cost of hurting the staff I must say I was less then happy with this hotel. I've stayed at youth hostels with better services. THE INTERNET CONNECTION IS SUBSTANDARD FOR 2015. So if you need Internet access to stay on top of work, family, friends, forget it. My flight was changed from one airport to another... More

I stayed at Hote Nizza for four nights and loved it. The hotel is clean, comfy and quite. The staff was super. Very helpful and very knowledgable. The hotel also has a greate location a few steps from metro and termini station , good air condition and nice breakfast (i dont understand some of the negative comments perhaps they expected... The room and bath were good sized, The tile floor was cracked in places. The breakfast was adequate with hot chocolate, plenty of rolls and juice beverages. We felt like the air cond. was turned down during the night time, but we were on the 4th floor and the daily heat during July does rise to the top floors. The... More

We have just spent 3 nights here. For £60 a night in the centre of Rome you can't go wrong. Comfy and clean rooms. Only things that could have been better was the wifi and air con,. Both worked but not that great. We would stay here again,.. But wouldn't go to rome in July again as it was just... More

It's not that we expected much from the hotel to be honest but apart from the decent breakfast and the good location (near Termini Station) there is not much more good things to say about this hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel we went to the ground floor room very near the reception. The room was very, very small with... More

First impressions of the hotel were good, friendly staff, nice big room although it goes downhill from there. We were in a room in the ground floor to the rear of the hotel and had a view of the bins. The bathroom was a wet room, shower being right next to a plug which resulted in the power going off... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
