Stayed here for 3 nights. Was dreading it with previous reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Room was huge with comfy bed and was spotlessly clean. Bathroom looked fairly new and was also very clean and quite luxurious. Plenty of hot water and lovely shower. Ive stayed in grotholes and ive stayed in luxury hotels. This was brilliant for the money.... More

They claimed I took a beer from the minibar. I did not. Scam or mistake? I don't know. I walked away without paying for it, over their objections. If you stay here, ask to see your room first and take a picture of the minibar with them watching. Amazingly, that wasn't even the worst problem. I arrived around 11 am,... More

My Overall Rating is based on comparable 3 star hotels in Rome - I am not comparing it to the Hilton! Pluses: Good proximity to Termini, the main train and bus station. Lots of cheap restaurants nearby. Decent breakfast. Helpful front desk with good English skills. Nice sitting area, lounge/bar adjacent to the lobby. Rooms adequately furnished. Rooms have a... More

The best thing about Nizza is it's location. Next to the Roma Termini, the place is easy to spot and has great access. I got lost in Rome a billion times, but never found it tough to get home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Helped me chalk my itinerary in Rome and always went out of their way... More

I have stayed at this hotel three times over the years . It is a perfect location , the staff is great. Sure, the rooms are not that great, but look at the price. I would pass on the breakfast. Even the coffee is bad !

Four nights at this hotel. Don't go here unless you are really short on money. Yes, the location is good and the service is not bad, BUT the wifi is very bad, rooms are very small and outdated, showers are awful. Everything is very old and not well reserved. Not to mention they've missed my reservation and gave me a... More

The Hotel Nizza is the ugliest lodging I have frequented in not only in Europe, but in all my travels! Perhaps rustic is a better word. The exterior was covered in dirt and pollution and the interior had seen better days, probably just prior to WWII. Despite these negatives, it has a lot going for it: really friendly and helpful... The hotel was very close to the central train station so dead easy to get to places. Room was ok a bit dated and a few minor things wrong. Was a noisy hotel as the room was right next to the air conditioning plant so constant mechanical noises. Staff were friendly and was quite good value for Rome.
