I stayed that the Accademia for a school trip during our stay in Rome. We were there for 8 days and I loved the hotel. It was very clean, the staff was ver friendly as well as accomidating. It was great that they had a computer for the guests to use for I believe about 5 Euro during your stay.... more

So close to the Trevi fountain and easy to get to all Rome's main sites. The hotel is modern and well furnished. It is probably a little too expensive for a weekend break but it feels comfortable, secure and rooms contain good amenities. A good base for sightseeing. more

My husband & I just returned from our Roma holiday and we stayed accademia hotel. The room was very small and basic. Bathroom was very basic and shower was too small - even though I am a small person, I could hardly fit in the shower. The great attraction of this hotel is the location though and if for no... more

My wife and I have just spent a long weekend at the Hotel Accademia and it has been a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, our room was clean and well furnished and the location was simply out of this world. When we arrived we were upgraded to a Superior Room which, though small was decorated... more

We (2 adults + baby) stayed in "superior room". The room was very small, there was constant loud noise from outside (near Trevi). We had to take 2 elevators and some stairs so really amazing how this room was chosen for family with kid in trolley. Price was 200eur/night. We had booked first Hotel White (soundproof Executive room) for 230eur/night... more

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in June 2009 and we had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The room was modern with traditional aspects, which was perfect for my taste. I also found the room to be clean and tidy, but what really added to our stay was the location of the hotel, it was walking... more

While waiting to be able to enter the apartment I had rented in Rome (located near Campo dei Fiori), I had to find a hotel for one night, did so last minute by internet (Venere) and wound up here, at some distance that is from where I rented. The Accademia is a fine hotel really, and is called so because... more

Having read other reviews along the same lines, let me reiterate that the best thing about this hotel is the location. Uncomfortable beds, rude staff, badly cooked breakfast. The whole experience was a struggle. I was a solo traveller and the chill at the Reception when coming back to the hotel each time was noticeable. The impression I got from... more

This hotel is perfectly located near the fountain di Trevi (approximately 50m). But you should be ready to see a lot of tourists going to fountain. Don't worry about noises from the street. You'll hear nothing if window is closed. The hotel inside is quite cosy. It has 3 floors and breakfast room on the 0 floor. Breakfast was normal,... more
