Our favourite and first choice place to stay whenever we visit Rome. Superb decor, warm welcome, clean, comfortable and right by the Spanish Steps, all major sites are within walking distance - what more could you ask for. Beautiful continental breakfast served in your room and an excellent choice of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. There is no lift so... More

Dear Guests, we all are very happy that you feel good in our location, an old building right in the center of Rome, but with all the amenities..... Hoping to meet you again in the future we send our warmest regards Alessandro More

the hotel is small but in a fantastic location. It is right in front of the Spanish steps and an ideal location as you are basicallyare at walking distance from so many sites and the tube is 5 minutes away.

Greeted with a very warm welcome upon arrival from Fabio! In addition to assisting us with suggestions for getting around town also arranged for a great last night dinner. Great proximity to Spanish Steps and lots of good cafes close by. Morning breakfast good and service even better - opened up early last morning as we had to leave promptly... More

I just returned home from Rome (this hotel) today. We 2 persons have stayed here for 4 nights. Staff is nice, room is okay (bathroom in my room is big). Very good location but quiet. (I stayed in a hotel in Bern 2 weeks ago and it was extremely noisy that we couldn't sleep till 4am!) So, it is good... More

I loved this hotel and I am appalled by th reviews I am reading - none of these awful things happened to me in my stay. The breakfast was very good, the coffess was wonderful and the staff exceedingly kind and attentive. They could not have beenmore helpful. Yes, there is not a lobby or a check in desk as... More

We stayed in Condotti 29 for three nights and we were absolutely pleased. The hotel was clean, the furnitures were modern and the location was very convenient. The price was pretty reasonable (100 Euros per night because August is the low season for Rome) for a central hotel. The rooms was small but we didn' t mind at all, since... More

We booked this hotel as part of a package and were slightly alarmed when we read some of the reviews on here. However, our experience was really good. They confirmed our booking 24 hours before arrival and there was no problem with our booking when we arrived! The hotel is in a great location for seeing the sights around Rome:... More

Our room was pleasant, and was in a good location, but from a fire safety point of view, I had concerns. The premises consisted of 6 rooms and these were located on the second floor of the building (up 6 flights of stairs) above shops. There was only 1 exit route down, and this route had no visible smoke detectors,... More

When we TRIED to stay here, we were told our room was given away, because someone else arrived before our 2:00 arrival. We had all the paper work with us, including confirmation. They couldn't have cared less. This was crazy as our friends had arrived the night before and told the manager that they were excited to see us and... More

We have stayed here on three separate occasions and each time it has been a delight. A small boutique hotel, with just 6 rooms in all! No breakfast room as such but who needs it when you can have a breakfast tray loaded with goodies brought to your room and eat your breakfast in the comfort of your PJs!! A... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
