We are Platinum members for some years. We are staying approx 3 nights per week in a hotel of IHG. We reserved a room with our points, this was very disappointing. When we made the reservation we asked if we could be upgraded (willing to pay extra), the reply was immediately that they would try to give us an upgrade.... More

This hotel is in a great location. The rooms can be hit and miss. They are a little small but this is central Rome. Some are close to the road, others have nice terraces and even the suites can be a little tired decoratively and dark. The options for dining in the hotel including breakfast are very pricey but again... More

Well, the search is finally over for a hotel in Rome that meets my employer's expense guidelines. I have a favorite "personal" hotel, the Portrait Suites, but unfortunately that hotel is too expensive for business travel. This week, I stayed at the Intercontinental and now I will only stay here when I am in Rome for business. The location is... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days in May 2011 to celebrate my 40th birthday. What a perfect time to enjoy Rome - sunny, high 70's during the day, and cool breezes at night. We walked everywhere, never took a cab, and a few times, caught the Metro to as many of the sites as we could fit... More

I find some of the complaints in the reviews below ridiculous..... not enough English tv channels....there is a building opposite the hotel and people can potentially see in.. Anyway, the hotel was excellent. We stayed in room 505 which was facing the street, with limited views of the Rome skyline. Room was average sized and comfortable. Service was good. Anything... I found Intercontinental De La Ville a very diappointing property. Its a typical 3 Star property with a 5 Star Name. Location is good however the ambience around the Hotel is not that appealing. Maintainence is poor and make sure to flex your muscles before booking this place because on most occassion you will not find concierge services. Restaurant is... More

We came back to Rome for just one night after spending a few days in Tuscany so we could catch our flight in the morning. It is a very ornate, elegant hotel with a decent size room and bath. It had a very 'old world" style to it, but also seemed like it needed a little updating. After a long... More

First of all, this hotel is a real ripoff. NO services what so Evert included, not even as a Priority club Platinum member! Bottle of water was 9 euro, coca cola smallest ever seen 9 euro. INTERNET which one expect to be included in a hotel that flamma to be five star was 23 euro! But worst of all, the... More

Small smelly rooms, was woken up every morning by the building work being done to the terrace. Room didn't even have tea/ coffee making facilities or an iron. Our room key was deactivated twice so after a long day sightseeing we had to keep going to see the unfriendly reception staff who didn't even apologise. Internet access is 23 euros... More

Thank you for choosing to stay at Intercontinental De La Ville Roma. Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
