We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and couldnt believe how well placed this location is. The hotel overall is good, though there are a few anomalies (but isnt there always!) which as a previous a reviewer stated left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. Would recommend, though minimize your time in the hotel and get out and enjoy Rome.... More

Stayed for 2 nights 14th Feb 2009. Reception staff very polite and helpful. Room nice, not big but didnt expect so for italy. Small balcony, good size bathroom. Very expensive mini bar e.g. travel plug £6! Dont expect to pay for the use of this. Cocktails £16 each, breakfast £29. Location is excellent - literally at the top of the... More

In part, it may have been the step down from the (Waldorf-Astoria Collection) Cavalieri Hilton where we stayed for the prior four nights on a work trip - but, all in all, one couldn't help but leave the Intercontinental de la Ville Roma without feeling a bit underwhelmed after this three-day visit. First, the best part: the location is brilliant... More

This was a very pleasant hotel. The staff was friendly and responsive. We had an issue with our safe (we couldn't get it open), and the front desk attendant was up in our room within 10 minutes to help us fix the problem. Rooms were spacious for Rome standards. The bath was nicely appointed. I think the courtyard view that... More

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at this hotel during a trip to Rome in December. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. First, the good things: The hotel is located at the top of the Spanish Steps, so it's an excellent location as you pretty much walk to most areas of Rome from here. The concierge was... More

We have just returned from a shopping trip in Italy and stayed at the Intercontinental delaVille Hotel in Rome. The hotel is located at the top of the Spanish Steps so it couldn't be a better location. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the service provided by the staff was beyond anything I had ever experienced. The Front desk staff offered... More

My best friend and I stayed at the Intercontinental for a week over the Christmas period. Although we had an upgraded room (with access to garden), we did view a smaller room and it was quite sufficient for anyone. The staff was exceptionally helpful, accomodating, kind and professional. I travel extensively for business and pleasure, and have Ambassador status with... More

Booked this via Priceline for $167 per night for two nights (12/23-25). It’s located in the heart of the tourist area of the city right at the top of the Spanish steps with some very nice views. The hotel itself is rather small, with only about 5-6 floors and maybe 15 rooms per floor, so it feels more like a... More

My wife and I had a short trip (4 days) to Rome for a friend’s wedding. We had stayed at the De La Ville once before and felt very happy with our choice to return. We have also stayed at a lot of Intercontinental branded hotels around the world and have more often than not found them first rate. I... More
