Just as a heads up I have been informed that the InterContinental de la Ville will "close on March 25, 2016 because the lease on the property has expired". So Good Bye after 15 years of service, this was a hotel with a great location.

We stayed there for four days. The room was fantastic with a king size bed, the staff was amazing, and the breakfast buffet had a wide and varied assortment to chose from. We couldn't ask for anything more. As well we felt it was central to all attractions and some great restaurants.

The location of the hotel is amazing, Spanish steps are just in front of it, great service, excellent staff and rooms are spacious with a nice view. We only had breakfast and it was delicious! Everything is close by. Via Condoti with and Via del Corso are right there. Fontana di Trevi is 5 minutes from the hotel!

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel - the location for me is the main aspect, you're a stones throw from the Spanish steps & there's two underground stations nearby. The hotel is lovely inside & we'd recommend spending some time at the bar in the hotel, it offers a fantastic view of Rome. If we are to go back... More

Location is superb, close to the metro station. Got a room having balcony with beautiful view of Vatican. Rooms are compact & comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Free Wi-fi with good speed. The staff is extremely courteous. I would like to specially thank & appreciate the services of Mr. Franchesco at the front desk & Mr. Christian at the... More

We stayed at this hotel for three night last year during our European honeymoon trip. The location is brilliant, it was a truly memorable experience from the friendly concierge to the close proximity to famous tourist attractions such as Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The historical building itself is amazing with full amenities in room and additional items available... More

As the title suggests, the location is superb, thats not all, we were treated like VIPs from the time we arrived until we departed. Check in was great, concierge was excellent too. Staff were friendly, professional and courteous at all times. As an IHG Spire member I was upgraded to a beautiful room with view of the park and a... More

for a first time Rome visitor this is a perfect starting off point. Central to the shopping district, Trevi, Pantheon, etc. The staff was very helpful when checking in - received complimentary upgrade with Spire level status - and the concierge was always ready to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Rome

The perfect place for having the best of Rome at your footsteps! Get an upgraded room for having a balcony and who knows, you might have such a good view, you won't want to leave the room anymore! The beds are really comfortable and the service is wonderful as well. You won't go wrong with it!

Lovely staff, we were treated fantastically. On check in we were upgraded to a suite, which we was very happy with. The hotel also brought a bottle of white wine on ice to the room on our first night, which was lovely. Very quaint setting, nice restaurant, great location (right on top of the Spanish steps) and overall a brilliant... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
