There is no doubt that this hotel is in a great, if not perfect, sightseeing location. All major areas of interest are in easy walking distance, as are public transport links. But... The hotel itself is not great. The room was incredibly overheated and the in room temperature settings did not work (all controlled centrally). No tea/coffee making facilities in... More

We spent at dei Borgognoni one week and we did not regret for one single moment. Pros: Excellen location between Spanish steps and Trevi fountain, surrounded by restaurants and shops. We could easily reach every point by simply walking (Piazza Venezia, Forum Romano, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Colosseum, Travtavere etc). Our room was very spacious with a back yard view (as... More

The hotel is very accessible to transportation. The hop on hop off bus stop is just on the main road. Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps are a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. A small grocery is located less than 30 meters from the lobby entrance. Restaurants are everywhere. The decor looked a bit dated albeit adorned with intricate... More

My family of 4 stayed here for 3 night, Dec 25-28, 2014. We had stayed here before in 2008. This is a beautiful 4-star hotel in the very center of Rome, an easy walk to all the sights. The front desk staff are very welcoming and friendly. On a rain day, umbrellas were put out for guests to use. We... More

This hotel is only a 5 min walk from both the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. We walked everywhere whist we were in Rome and this Hotel was the perfect base. From here we walked to the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Vatican and to and from bars and restaurants. We visited for 4 nights in mid November. This was... More

We moved to this hotel as the hotel we were booked into was rubbish. This hotel is in a superb position between the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain but on a quiet street and close to lots of restaurants and shops. The concierge, Vincent, was a godsend as we had had one phone and a wallet pick pocketed on the... More

We spent tow full days in Rome with our children and grandma . The hotel was very nice and just a 2 min away from Piazza di Spagna or Fontana di Trevi . Rooms clean and cozy. The only problem was that our room was very hot and the A/C wasn't working properly ! Nice breakfast !

We stayed here for four nights last week and have nothing but praise for this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room comfortable and spotless and the location is incredible. There are many restaurants nearby and it's a joy to wander round this interesting area.

We stayed at the start of October, 2014, when perhaps it was a little quieter, booking a fight and hotel break through British Airways. The hotel is in a backstreet just off a main shopping street and is midway between the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, both a short walk away. There is a supermarket nearby, not that you would... If you're looking for a moderately priced hotel in a great location you can't go wrong here. It's proximity to the Spanish Steps, Trevi, shopping and so on is as good as it gets. It is not for people looking for the grand, opulent style but it is a very clean and efficiently run establishment. Try a room with the... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
