We booked Hotel dei Borgognoni as part of a trip to Rome through British Airways. We chose the hotel mainly for its central location (which really is fantastic) and also because it has great reviews. We checked into a 'Classic Double' room which was small but adequate for our needs. The decor however was tired and the fabric covered walls... More

Wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles and warmth, from Luca on reception, to the lovely porter who took our bags to our room. Every member of the hotel staff from Luigi and Pino behind the bar, Theresa at breakfast, to all the porters and receptionists, couldn't have been more happy to see us every... More

This hotel is ideally located and from here it is possible to see many of the main sights by walking, alternatively you can get the metro from Piazza di Spagna. There are many restaurants close at hand, also the shopping areas around via del Corso. (A haven particularly for men's shirt and suit shops.) We liked the restaurant near at... More

The Hotel Dei Borgognoni is a small hotel located near the Spanish Steps. The hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are standard size and very clean. The best features of this hotel are the staff and the location. The front desk, bell and breakfast staffs are all friendly and are dialed into the needs of American travelers. The location... More

We stayed here 5th-8th August - First of all the location was fantastic! Too many great places close by to mention but obviously the most touristy were the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain which are both 5 min walk away! 30 min stroll to the Colosseum and 40 walk to the Vatican (well worth it) even in the August heat!... Tucked away in one of the tiny Italian streets close to Trevi Fountain.Quiet location but close too many attractions. Gents on Reception a little officious in their manner and not the most helpful. Hotel very clean, room was quaint and cosy, bathroom very clean, unfortunately noisy neighbours allowing doors to bang shut caused disturbance, but it was dealt with. Breakfast... More

I would agree with much of the high marks given to this hotel. The staff spoke excellent English and was most kind and helpful in giving directions and recommendations, the morning breakfast was more than adequate and gave me the opportunity to enjoy the best cappuccino I have had, and the infrastructure was clean, well maintained and showed no signs... Lovely hotel in a great location, close to the Trevi Fountain. The staff were very friendly, we didn't eat in the hotel, but there are a number of restaurants close to the hotel Tip: there's a gorgeous Italian sandwich bar close to the hotel (come out the door turn left) worth a visit!
