Location: This hotel could not be in a more perfect location; the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Pantheon and Vatican City are all well within walking distance. We walked everywhere, and found the city fairly easy to navigate with the map provided by the hotel. Staff: The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. They always answered our questions, and were... More

Our first impressions of Hotel dei Borgognoni were very good. During our weekend stay, we were never disappointed. The hotel is well-located, just a five-minute walk from the Piazza di Spagna Metro station. As soon as we walked in the door, we felt a calm atmosphere. The reception was friendly and efficient. Our room was not huge, but perfectly adequate... More

It's in the center of Rome. The trevi fountain and Spanish steps are within 5 min walking. Pantheon 10-15 walk which is also beautiful by night. Hotel is renovated. Rooms are good except the beds are too firm and uncomfortable. . 20-30 min drive from Airport

We are little surprise to read that our Room Service was not avaiable as “out of the main season”, we grand this service up to midnight all year around, and afert this time we, if requested, we have a night bellboy that can give assistance. Complimentary coffe/tea facilities are avaiable in all our Superior rooms but not in our Classic... More

I have just returned from my trip to Rome staying at this lovely hotel. The receptionists were very helpful and waiting staff very happy and friendly at breakfast. The hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing, most of which you can walk too. Our room was a good size and the bed was so comfortable. We had a room... More

Our British Airways package included the Dei Borgognoni Hotel. It is well placed between the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain with a choice of restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were helpful. It was ideal for our short visit.

Borgognoni is situated between the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain, a perfect location for sightseeing, Pantheon, Piazza Navona all within walking distance. Staff are very friendly and helpful, massive buffet breakfast with a wide choice from hot dishes to fresh fruit. Lovely small restaurant opposite Angelina's for coffee cakes, and other tasty dishes. Further away on the main road to... More

There is no doubt that this hotel is in a great, if not perfect, sightseeing location. All major areas of interest are in easy walking distance, as are public transport links. But... The hotel itself is not great. The room was incredibly overheated and the in room temperature settings did not work (all controlled centrally). No tea/coffee making facilities in... More

We spent at dei Borgognoni one week and we did not regret for one single moment. Pros: Excellen location between Spanish steps and Trevi fountain, surrounded by restaurants and shops. We could easily reach every point by simply walking (Piazza Venezia, Forum Romano, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Colosseum, Travtavere etc). Our room was very spacious with a back yard view (as... More

The hotel is very accessible to transportation. The hop on hop off bus stop is just on the main road. Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps are a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. A small grocery is located less than 30 meters from the lobby entrance. Restaurants are everywhere. The decor looked a bit dated albeit adorned with intricate... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
