I visit Rome on a regular basis and have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The location could not be any better as it is right in the centre of Rome. The service is great and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast and food is to a good standard too. The only down side is that the rooms... More

Our group of four ate lunch at the hotel restaurant by the walkway on two consecutive days. Very nice service, good food. Nice to watch people walking by. I would go back when I'll be in Rome next time.

The rooms were overly used they definitely need to refurnish the rooms, especially the carpet it was the worst of all ! We actually had to ask them to change the room for us because the first room they put us at smelled so bad that we couldn't take it and the carpet was stained and dirty. The concierge and... More

It's daunting to choose a hotel from a website or even from reviews sometimes. You hope for the best. After hours of scouring many hotels, we "settled" on this one, mostly because we heard it was good and people said good things but also because we were tired of looking. How fortuitous for us, for we appreciate quality, friendliness, cleanliness... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights here, and heaped praise upon our travel agent for picking it. We were warmly welcomed from the first moment, and the staff was consistently great. We especially appreciated the bar manager, Roberto, for his tips on Rome and making a reservation at Da Franco (just outside the city center). The hotel itself is... More

We enjoyed our 2 recent stays here. The service is first class from all staff and everything is within easy walking distances. We especially appreciate the small restaurant (Romano) in the hotel. Although it is an old hotel, everything is available just as in a modern boutique hotel.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
