A fantastic central location-shopping and attractions all close with courteous staff and friendly service. Always a warm and welcoming smile. Excellent restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. Pristine Italian bed linen.

This is a good hotel , all be it a bit tired, in a great central location, with brilliant staff. All the Rome sites seem to be less than 10 euro's away in a cab, if you like shopping you'd better hide your credit card as all the designer shops (and some good local clothes shops) are on your door... Definitely a great location with helpful staff; however, the rooms are tired and need to be redone. The paint was chipped, carpeting stained, air conditioner was not working and we had to move to another room, which was smaller. They did not compensate us for the inconvenience or smaller room Would not stay here again.

The hotel has an amazing location. It is located next to all of the most exclusive shopping in Rome. It is a very old hotel with a few employees who were helpful. Most of the staff was full of excuses for why things weren't working in the room. The hotel needs to be redone. My room was 26.9°C. There was... More

From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty! Staff was very attentive, we especially appreciated Massimo, the head Concierge. He provided us with wonderful ideas on how to spend our days, not just the normal tourist stuff and then perfect restaurant suggestions for the evening. Breakfast is included at the hotel and it was delicious. Also, perfect location you... More

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and feel so strongly about the lovely time we had here that we are writing our first ever review on trip advisor. Reading one or two of the reviews it's hard to tell it's the same hotel. So to summarise our views; If you are looking for a sanitised, Americanised hotel which... More

The Hotel is in a very convenient location, near the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon and the first impression on entry is one of refinement and quality. BUT we found our room to be uncomfortable. It was very stuff and the air-conditioning did not seem to be working. We could open the door out onto a tiny balcony but the room... More

The hotel is located close to the Spanish Steps which makes it easy to get to most sites. The rooms were nice. The junior suite was roomy and the double room for the kids was fine for two people. Everyone loved the breakfast-especially the sausage. We ate in the hotel one night and found it to be fine.

For the past twenty five years we have stayed at this albergo whenever in Rome. It has become our 'home away from home' in Rome. Our old friend and front desk manager, Mauro, has retired; his successor is Antonio and he is just as attentive to our needs. The location is most ideal: walk out and you have the three... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
