What a positive experience this hotel was. On arrival one of our rooms was upgraded, and both had been thoughtfully place next to each other. Plush decor, exceptionally clean, a delicious bowl of fruit, gigantic bathroom and shower and the most comfortable hotel bed imaginable. Only negative was that the rooms were too hot, but the windows did open, so... More

We were treating ourselves for my 60th birthday and loved everything about this hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our upgraded room was beautiful and looked out at the American Embassy with lovely statues on top (probably acquired from the Colosseum). The hotel seemed to be full of Dutch football fans, the match must have gone well as... More

We visited Rome in early February. The staff greeted us with such warmth we almost forgot about the cold outside. The hotel is very elegant and unless you have marble everywhere at home, a wonderful experience. Breakfast was excellent - so much choice. We will definitely return and will be recommending this lovely hotel to our friends.

We arrived at the Regina Baglioni in the evening of Velentine's Day. The hotel is located on the famous Via Veneto, a luxury avenue at 10-15 min walks from the Spanish Steps. We were greeted by Davide, the Front Office Manager...Excellent welcome in a friendly and professional way. During check-in he understood it was a special occasion for us. The... More

A well overdue review so apologies to a wonderful team who helped and guided my Son and I last Summer. Nothing was too much trouble and the Concierge team were outstanding in making us feel at home. The rest of the hotel details were very good too and small faults would be looking for reason to complain. Thank you

Kebabkins review sums up the hotel very well, and we agree with his descriptions and experience, we too were upgraded on arrival though it was rare to find any other guests during our stay in February - some but very few. So I will only comment on what could be improved. Our room faced the Via Veneto, a busy road... More

As part of the infamous wedding of the year- this hotel was also part of the wedding party and literally we just took over!!- I'm not too sure what the other rooms looked like but I have to say the penthouse was just spectacular, it was a mission to get there - although you would think it would be much... The other half and I spent 3 nights in Rome for a city break, having been changed to this hotel after our initial booking of its sister hotel, the Aldrovandi Villa Borghese fell through due to renovation works. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
