We were part of a Tour (42 guests) who are departing today. While this is a lovely hotel is was not located close to any of the attractions so buses and long walks were required. In addition, the rooms were so small, we could not walk around the bed or have 2 of us moving around the room at the... More

Our room was lovely, although construction outside the door detracted from it, as did the shabby bathrobes, lack of a hair dryer and the shower being located in a very high-sided tub ( dangerous). Most of the staff, when asked for assistance, were helpful and nice. The concierge and his assistant were particularly nice. The food at the breakfast buffet... More

This is a perfectly good hotel in the "upmarket" bit of Rome. American embassy nearby. The area is a bit soulless for me when on holiday, but horses for courses and all that This is a classic style hotel, with fabric wallpapers and patterned carpets, all maintained well. There were however a few maintenance issues with my room and bathroom, which were... More

My husband and I just returned home after our stay in Rome at the Regina Hotel Baglioni. The staff was wonderful and so friendly and helpful. We had a quiet room in the back on the fourth floor. The buffet breakfast was delicious. I loved the downstairs sitting room - absolutely beautiful. The concierge was so helpful answering questions, giving... More

This grand hotel is in a quiet location a short walk to the Spanish steps and terrific shopping opportunities. The hotel and entire staff are excellent. The concierge, Francesco, was most helpful with all requests, both large and small, and made several excellent suggestions which enhanced our trip. We also used Rome chauffeur for the airport transfers and were extremely... More

This hotel is stunning; it's intimate and grand, at the same time -- beautiful marble decor, elegant furniture and antiques, meticulously clean, and in a convenient location across from the U.S. Embassy and about a 10-minute walk to the Spanish Steps. My husband and I stayed in a 7th-floor suite, with our teenagers in a connected adjoining bedroom (a double... More

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay and would recommend for service, quality of food and drinks and general ambience. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the balcony and views over the city. We were very pleased with the Hotel Regina. As a family of 3, it is sometimes a challenge to accommodate the third person in many European hotels. At the Regina, we had the luxury of two full sized double beds as opposed to a cheesy sofa bed or rollaway. We were also very pleased with the breakfast buffet. There were... More

My wife and I have gone to Italy twice now and both times we have stayed here. Right in the heart of Rome. The hotel, the staff the room was just magical. The breakfast served complementary is 5 stars by itself. Highly recommend saying here if in Rome if you are looking for a classy hotel.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
