Very clean rooms, great bed, and great water pressure in the shower though water tends to escape due to single door design. Breakfast was good with the exception of the prepared omelette's being to salty for my taste. Bacon was also to salty but that is just the way it is cured here I am sure. Staff was friendly and... The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The location could not be better. Within walking distance to the Spanish Steps. There are so many great little restaurants around the hotel. We did not have dinner here however we had a lovely breakfast on the rooftop every morning of our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. This is by far... More

This is for sure one of the best Hotels in Rome. The Avenue is great, near the Metro, Buses, Tour buses, walking distance from interesting tourist places and easy transport to more distant sights. Great staff here, happy smiley faces and they will go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. Very nice hotel, large rooms, very... More

The hotel was in a great location and very nice & clean. Warning Do NOT use the tour company that the hotel recommends called "Love Tours". They are unreliable & unprofessional. The concierge named Francesca however was extremely helpful and did all she could to rectify the situation. Other concierge only interested in his commission.

We stayed here for 8 days in December/January and must say that his hotel is absolute perfection. The room was clean and well appointed, the staff friendly and competent, and the location, within walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, could not be better. I am normally a Hilton customer, but this particular Marriot property helped... More

Everybody at this place is incredibly friendly and helpful. The lobby is nice. We were there in the winter, so they had a nice fire going, which we used to warm up. We did not eat in the restaurant, but we had breakfast every morning on the roof. It was great. What's also great is the location. You're a short... More

Stayed 6 nights. Comfortable bed. Carpet in bedroom had a tear. Heater in room was hard to control - woke up in the middle of night to switch to cooler setting. However turn down service was nice with little chocolates by pillow. Welcome basket of fruit and wine was greatly appreciated. Great location can't be beat - nice street out... More

We stayed here for 4 days in December. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff very friendly. It's across the street from the Borghese gardens, which is a nice park to have a morning walk in. It's a 20 minute walk to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain which gets you right into the middle of all the tourist... More

If you like old style hotel centrally placed this is your place. Across the street you have the famous "Harry's Bar". There is a gym in the hotel but very small. No computers in the business section had working connection. But with the very friendly and service minded staff that was compensated. Great breakfast, had New Years dinner there -... More

First time we stayed, and it is a great hotel. Staff is fantastic, helpful, even allowed us rooftop access to take photos of Borghese park across the street. Rooms are large, and very elegant. Figuring out the light switches takes a bit of time, and the shower is extremely shallow (if you have a slow drain, this could be a... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
