We stayed here in August 2013, and thought the room was a bit cramped for a family of four, but the price and location made up for that. It's now October 2014, and today we've received not one but three parking fines through the post. This is because the hotel has no parking of its own, and fronts directly on... More

Dear Ian D, Thank you for sharing with us your experience because what occurred to you gives us the opportunity to inform properly our future Guests. Since in Italy, by law, you cannot get two fines for the same violation in the same day, (therefore neither three), do contest the fines or check carefully violation charged. Guests, arriving by car,... More

Small rooms, great concierge, central location with the availability of local bus or nearby taxi stand. Close to outstanding attractions and the dining room for breakfast overlooked the skyline of Rome. Close to pavement eating houses and other interesting things. A little bit like something out of an Agasta Christie movie but nice

Hotel Tritone was the best for many reasons close to outstanding landmarks, transport, staff were very pleasant and helpful and room had everything a tired traveler required at the end of a foot weary day. We could not believe how close we were to the Trevi Fountain which we passed and gazed at many times each day, a land mark... More

The jewel of this hotel is its location. Rooms are very small and need to be considered as we could only open the bathroom door one third of the way before it hit the bed and would not open any further. Bathroom facilities are acceptable however the shower is a hand held model and not suitable for tall people. Breakfast... More

From the moment of email contact to arrange an airport pick up, to the transfer to the hotel, to the front desk and porters and the room, we were impressed. There was an elevator to the floors but there was about 8 steps from the road to the reception but a porter was available to help with our bags if... More

Hotel Tritone is located in the perfect spot to walk to various attractions. We walked almost everywhere from the hotel. Located near Palazzo Venezia and the Coliseum. The rooms were great! There was air conditioning, a nice bathroom and a very spacious bedroom. I stayed here for 4 nights and had a great experience. The wifi is not very strong... More

We stayed here for 4 nights , location is perfect close to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, Staff helpful with directions and organising maxi taxi to get us to airport on check out. This hotel has absolutely fantastic hotel staff. They are polite and helpful with any questions you have. Our housekeeping maid (Luciana) is the most beautiful Italian lady I have ever met! She is so lovely and joyful! The reception staff were great at helping us out to print off our boarding passes for a flight we booked and always greeted... More

Booked through our travel agent. Very good location in Rome. Upgraded to a very modern room with lovely amenities. We were very happy with our room-not large but just what you need when you only come back to the room to sleep. However, the hotel URGENTLY has to add reading lights above the beds and have more electrical sockets:every family has at least a phone + ipad' and the bathroom is not the place to charge them. Breakfast, though... More
