My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay immensely. The hotel is uniquely appointed with very tasteful reproduction pieces; a very welcome change from the typical hotel! The beds were firm, but still soft enough to be comfortable. (It seems that most beds in hotels in Europe are a bit on the firm side!) The AC... More

I stayed there with my gf for 3 days. The hotel is clean with traditionaly decorated rooms. Shower was average, the water switched between cold and warm because of the automatic pump. They are not flexible with visitors in the rooms and do not offer the best help for clients. The breakfast is average. The elevator needs improvement. The location... More

We stayed for 2 nights and loved everything about this hotel. It is only 6 minutes easy walk from Rome Termini. On arriving we had a great check-in and then armed with a map out to discover Rome. The rooms was great a Deluxe and the furnishings were top quality. Tea and Coffee making facilities provided upon request (we found... More

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel has this really cool and old fashioned elevator. The staff was great and really friendly and helpful. The hotel was also conveniently very close to the train station. A really wonderful stay and I would return if I am ever in Rome again!

The hotel is only a 6 minute walk from the Roma train station, so it is as convenient as can be. Their official direction takes you through a connection on the Metro, but it's easier to just trek it from the train station. We booked a deluxe double room, and I was blown away with how spacious and beautifully decorated... More

Best western Hotel Canada was great. Perfect hotel for our 4 day stay before we caught the Mediterranean Cruise. The hotel was very traditional with beautiful paintings on the ceilings, traditional draped tapestries over the beds and spacious bathrooms. Rooms were immaculate, service excellent, staff was super helpful, breakfast was delicious! Richard the bartender was awesome. We were taking the... More

My wife and I have just returned from a lovely break in Rome, staying at the Best Western Hotel Canada. The hotel is situated about 5 minutes’ walk from the main Termini train station which is also where the buses from the airports arrive. We arrived at about 11.30, but the room was not ready so left our luggage and... More

My husband and I visited Rome at the end of May 2015, and our travel agent recommendd this hotel for an overnight stay. It was delightful, to say the least. It is a small, boutique-type hotel, beautifully appointed. The rooms for roomy and comfortable and had a very nice-sized marble-tiled bathroom.. Although we were only there one night, it was... Room and bathroom was spacious, breakfast is awesome! Wifi worked just fine. Staff is increadably helpful, they have large maps that they will highlight for you. Arber is a fine young man and helped us as soon as we arrived (4 hours late due to our plane being rerouted). When we went to Belongna, they stored our luggage for us... More

At about 11am on June 5th, I walked into the lobby to politely inquire about room availability and rates. A room was indeed available for the two nights I was looking to stay but, before confirming my stay, I asked if I could just quickly take a moment to compare prices/amenities with that of another hotel and two other hostels... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
