Loved this hotel. Staff are lovely. Rooms are beautiful. Great central location with lots of eateries nearby. Transport is readily accessible. Good price. Rooms are quite spacious which is great when travelling as a family. Bed was a little lumpy, but not too bad. Rooms are sound proofed so no outside noise. Loved the breakfast. Will definitely stay again if... More

This is a nice older style hotel. Very small elevator, no AC in rooms but still jhas a certain charm. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the wireless to work well enough and was in Rome on business. Not a lot of amenities but if you plan on spending a minimal amount of time in a room, not the worst you can... More

We recently stayed 6 nights at this hotel with a family of 4. From a prompt response via email confirming our reservation prior to our arrival, to the morning we departed, we all enjoyed our stay at this property. The room was spacious and well appointed, the high painted ceilings gave us the feeling of even greater roominess. The beds... More

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the termini station, and 1 minute walk from the nearest metro station. In. My opinion it has one of the nicest Decors I have come across. It's rooms have old style furniture and have one of the most comfortable beds in the world. It's breakfast is very limited in option but what... More

Booked this hotel for the tail end of my 2 week stay in Italy. Loved everything about this hotel.. except location. It is close (within walking distance) of the train station. But it was a little hike to get to some of the sights. This is really minor considering the value at this hotel. Staff and service were excellent and... More

We have stayed at this wonderful hotel on several occasions & find if's location very convenient to Termini Station for those who wish to travel Italy by train or just get around the city by the Metro system or by bus. The staff & service at the Best Western Hotel Canada is exceptional, they really go out of their way... More

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Staff were very helpful and answerd all of our questions regarding area restaurants and tours around Rome. Excellent service. The hotel is close to the Rome Termini station and lots of good restaurants.

Two couples stayed at this hotel in mid-September. One had the standard double - which is small but immaculate. The other had the larger double which had a four-poster bed, separate sitting area and was a very nice room. The bathrooms in both are modern. The hotel has many antiques, is decorated extremely nice, and the elevator is an antique... More

This has to be one of the best hotels for the price I've seen and should have more stars. I picked it almost entirely based on proximity to my business appointments and was very impressed with the whole package. The check in was very efficient and the receptionist was helpful and efficient. The hotel is a lovely period property well... More

A friend of mine and I visited Rome for a month and absolutely loved our stay at the Best Western Hotel Canada. The hotel is kept very clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable and the buffet breakfast is delicious! Most of the staff is excellent except for one guy who always seemed to be in a bad mood and had... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
