All the Staff at the hotel made our stay in Rome a wonderful experience. Loved the decor of the hotel and every area throughout the hotel was spotlessly clean and beautifully kept. The bar area and complimentary nibbles made it a super area to relax after a hard day's sightseeing. Our bedroom and on suite was immaculate and a pleasure... More

Stayed here for a week, and not one complaint. Our room was comfortable, cleaned every day, and we slept soundly every night. The hotel has a good bar, the bartender very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable on many subjects. In the evening the bar had appetizers, that one certainly would want to munch on. I had a bottled red wine, that... More

Stayed for 3 nights and have stayed at this hotel before. Great location, next to Termini rail station, nice area - plenty of restaurants and bars in locality. Room spacious and clean, and buffet breakfast is fine. Not cheap - plenty of cheaper options available in same area - but if u want a nice hotel in a nice quiet... More

Loved the hotel..Located close to train and metro. Never felt unsafe. Traveled with daughter and 2 preteen grandchildren. Room 522 spacious and very clean. Nice breeze through window overlooking street. Very quiet at night. Previously stayed at Hotel Olympia in Venice. Great experience. Would return to Hotel Canada anytime. Close enough to walk to many sites. Also had Vatican Rome... More

The hotel located near the Castro Pretorio station. You can walk there from Termini station for 10 minutes. If you have a car, don't be worried. There are public road parking in front of the hotel. And around the Castro Pretorio station, there are many parking space. Hotel is old, but I felt traditional. Room was clean and gorgeous but... More

Love'd that room with own little garden! It's a gem. Ask room 104. Breakfast had so many choices to make. A real continental buffet. Only minus thing was that there is quite a long walk to Piazza Navona forexample. The metro is near, but not so usefull to reach all places.

The hotel is in a good location away from loud streets and the busy crowds but close enough to two metro stops and walking distance ( 20 to 25 minutes) to many sites. The rooms are small but nice. The lobby is very nice. I never spend time in hotel lobbys but here I would often go get a drink... More

I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the room was. I stayed in a Queen Deluxe, which was spacious, with 2 chairs and a table in addition to a desk and chair. The bed was comfortable, the room temperature could be adjusted but was fine for me as it was, and the bathroom was a decent enough size, with a... More

Stayed here with my husband and 16 year old son. The hotel was immaculate and quaint. The room was large and included two beds - a queen and a twin. Two nightstands, a chair, dresser and a desk completed the furnishings. A small closet, alarm clock, television and safe were also present. We stayed on the third floor and loved... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
