If you want a hotel that is centrally located and has a staff that is willing to help you 24 hours a day than this is the hotel for you. The rooms at the hotel are a nice size and the bathroom is large. The rooms are quiet and have blackout curtains for sleeping. The breakfast is fantastic and offers... More

Stunning hotel, within a 5-10 minute walk from the termini train station. Staff very helpful and friendly. No evening meal available, but a very good restaurant just up the road 'Brambles'. rooms very clean, and roomy!

We spent two nights at this hotel. It is very clean and quiet inside. Staff is courteous and breakfast was very nice for a buffet. I would definitely stay again. Very nice find in Rome at a reasonable rate.

travelling to Rome on a bit of a budget, we were hoping for a functional and clean hotel, but nothing too memorable. this hotel met and exceeded our epectations - great rooms (large, clean and nicely designed), good bar (at excellent price), great coffee at breakfast. I would definatley recommend.

We stayed here on the final two nights of a two week stay in Italy. It was a very nice ending to our trip. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. The room was not large but it was well appointed and had a king size bed and two singles along the walls. The bathroom was spacious and very... More

We really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Canada again this year. It's become our place to stay in Rome as the location staff are excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable with the AC. The area has a lot of places to eat away from the tourist crowds. It's located 6 blocks away from termini on the north.. The quiet... More

We spent a few nights at this charming & surprisingly delightful venue recently & it was wonderful! Accommodations were spacious & comfortable, service was excellent, location was great (5 mins to Termini where u could easily access any transportation) & the breakfast & refreshments were superb! My only wish was that the A/C was more effective for the scorching summer... More

My wife and I are regular visitors to Italy. Last year because of an Internet difficulty and an extreme delay cause by the poor banking system in Italy we had to cancel a booking for accommodation in September 2014. When the problem was resolved we received a kind email from the hotel saying we would always be welcomed on our... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
