Placed near Roma termin, a neighborhood absolutelly dirty, and in the chinese area, this hotel is managed by chinese people, which is OK, but not to get an italian feel at all. Dirty room , we found hairs in the pillows and the buth tub. Everything smeel like smoke. The chinese concierge at night was very unpolite, the one in... More

This hotel is a very good reason to search out a hostel. Although it is excellently located, the rooms are nice, the hotel gets wierd guests that have not a clue, and management does nothing. First night, a group of Russian women all night slammed doors going back and forth between rooms. Loud obnoxious, fat, sloppy slushing vodka Repulsive no... More

This is the worst hotel I have been to. The Chinese receptionist was rude, no hospitality at all... I had booked this hotel 2 months in advance using Expedia.co.uk and clearly mentioned that we are family of four including two children in the notes. When we arrived at the hotel the Chinese receptionist was asking for more money for my... More

My friend and I had a holiday travelling around Italy in which we stayed in Milan, Verona, Mestre and Rome and we rated each of the hotels for fun. This came out as second worst. It was the most expensive of the hotels by far. I liked the breakfast room and the location (it was near the coliseum and in... More

Because of it's location, we decided and booked this hotel through Expedia in just few minutes. Yes, the location is great. Just 5 minutes away from Termini and Vittoria Emmanuelle metro station. All the tourist attractions are not very far. If you are visiting Rome, you have to like walking! There was a supermarket near by which was a plus.... More

I stayed in Hotel D'Este for the second time in Jan 2013, the reason being value for money and proximity to major tourist attractions in Rome. Moreover, there is closely located Metro stations (Vitoria Emmanuelle) and the Roma Termini itself is at 5minutes walk. For this reason, I could save money in local travels, as taxi is relatively expensive in... More

I was in love with Rome when I visited it over the summer. I did a two week tour: Rome- Venice- Milan and then in Spain to Barcelona and Madrid. I was in Rome for 3 nights , 4 days and was enough time to visit the most important sights. The hotel was in a great location. I love walking... More

My fiancée and I travelled to Rome this August. As soon as we got off from Termini station we found the hotel immediately (like a 5 mins walk). The elevator was very scary, in fact we only used it upon arrival and on departure from the hotel, because we had heavy luggages. The room was ALWAYS tidy and clean, linens... More

It has a very good position and with Termini so close makes it easy to commute. The Air con did not work so i did not sleep that sums up the impression i wish to leave. First of all it's not a 3 stars hotel! Forget about: room-service, information leaflet, slippers, non-italian TV, wifi in room, electric kettle etc. The other disadvantages of this hotel are: noise - extremely noisy street and very thin walls (if you have a light sleep - even best earplugs can't help it) and probably the worst hotel breakfast I have...
