The location was great but everything else was poor. The bed is a glorified cot and the rooms are incredibly small. There was barely enough room for us and out luggage. The A/C also does not work very well. We were sweltering at night. If you are looking for just a bed this is a good cheap option.

Dear Ryan O, thanks for your review, we are sorry that we didn't entirely fulfill your expectations and that unlike other guests the air conditioning was not enough to make you sleep well. We will check it again in order to offer the best service possible. We are also sorry that the room was smaller than you expected but we... More

The location of this hotel is excellent for its price. We especially liked the patio where we could finish the day with a bottle wine and enjoy rooftop views of Rome with excellent views of St Peters. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast good. My only complaint would be that the rooms could use an updating. The... More

Great location, friendly helpful staff, good buffet breakfast, clean comfortable room, powerful hot shower and cold air-conditioning, nice roof terrace to relax on with a glass of wine, taxi stand and bus stops very close by. What more could you need?

This hotel was absolutely perfect Great location close to Piazza Navona and walking distance to everything The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooftop terrace was a wonderful place to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset while enjoying the Rome rooftops

I realize that European hotels and American hotels are different, but this my experience here was just not good. We visited this hotel from June 20-23. We were traveling with a group, and we're checked in by our Italian speaking guide. Once in our room, we discovered we had to have a remote control for the air conditioning. We were... More

We love this hotel. It is within easy walking distance to Piazza Navona which is beautiful. Also can walk to The Vatican. The guys on reception speak good English and are very helpful. Our room was ok this year but not as good as previous rooms. Position at the back quiet but bathroom small no toilet roll holder or towel... More

In a great location, every major site in walking distance. Restaurants, taxis near by. The rooms were tired looking - peeling wallpaper, worn couch. However, clean and well furnished. Roof top terrace with vast views of the city, tables, chairs and ashtrays! Breakfast was varied - good eggs. There was a bar, but never opened.

This is the best hotel I have stayed in Rome based on location. 1 minute from the Piazza Navona. Great at night for both restaurants and bars. Close enough to the Vatican too. No luxuries but was clean and the staff were very friendly.

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
