For a spring break trip with my daughter we booked hotels on line ... I originally booked a clunker ... We went out in search of s better one and found this right around the corner...location: piazza Navona...excellent! They speak English, they had air conditioning, elevators, safes in the room and it was just an all around great hotel. Excellent... More

The reason why I stay in this place is the location and the roof terrace (my 3rd time). Normally you have breakfast on the top floor and then you can go on the terrace and practically see all of Rome, or at least the Centro Storico. For the rest it is a slightly better hotel than the normal tourist hotels... More

Stayed here for 3 night stay with my husband, it was our first trip to Rome. The hotel was easy to find and was central to most attractions which was excellent. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room that we stayed in was quite small and the bathroom was basic and could benefit from an update. Our room looked... More

We have stayed at the Hotel Genio twice in the last three years, for a total of 9 nights. This is a nice mid-tier hotel with a lot going for it. The desk clerks have all been able to speak English. Spectacular location, about 2 blocks from Piazza Navona, one of the most popular hangouts in Roma. 10 minutes from... More

The location of this hotel is great and close to everything, but the hotel itself needs a lot of work. The shower is terrible even after changing two rooms. The carpet smells. The lift is so tight even for two adults.

Dear guest, thanks for your kind review, we are glad you liked our central location. We will use your suggestions to offer a better service in the future. We care very much about cleaning and we have carpeted rooms or rooms with parquet. More

Location is Excellent. 5-10 min walk to most of the popular places. Rooms are clean, some rooms big and some small. but good enough. Breakfast is good enough, it not fancy. Hotel crew are nice and very helpful. If you need direction or recommendation, they will help you. Internet is free, it is not very fast, but I was able... More

Went to Rome to watch Manchester City - Roma and then tour the City. Staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke English to a fluent level. The Room was large and in great condition. The only think that needed attention was the shower head, which was broken. This was reported and fixed immediately. Breakfast was great and the room... More

I stayed here on a recent trip to Rome. Was delighted with the location. Walkable to most of the popular sites. More important - centrally located to same sites. It was really a great place. The roof top terrace was wonderful for sunset happy hour. The room was well appointed. Clean and quite large for an inner city european hotel.... More

Dear SuzyW2008, we are glad that you would stay with us again, it's the best proof that our guests like our hotel. We apologize because you had to wait for the second cup of coffee and that the staff seemed not friendly enough, they usually are. I'm very sorry but this hotel is not worthy of four stars. I'm not very picky but after been spending two nights freezing in a child position and almost crying because it's so intensely inefficiently soundproofed and starving because the breakfast was a joke I'm quite sure of my judging. I guess experiences are different but to almost have five... More

Dear Samsam87, we are sorry that we were below your expectations, the heating system is meant to satisfy the majority of our guests and usually we don't have any problem with it, our breakfast is continental and except the posted eggs, yogurt and cherry tomatoes has cheese, ham, bread, cakes, croissants, biscuits, jam, honey, rusks, salad, etc. If our guests...
