Our travel agent recommended this quaint hotel located around the corner from the Piazza Navona. The location was outstanding - I walked everywhere! For the five days that I was in Rome, I never once took a bus, metro, or taxi. Everything I wanted to see/do was within a 45-minute walking distance. You can get to the river within two... More

Me and wifey stayed here in October. The location is great. Walking distance to all main attractions. The room was clean. Breakfast was served at the top floor, and the view was stunning! Terrific staff! Downside is that the beds are hard, but I guess that's standard in Italy. You get what you pay for.

This hotel is undoubtedly all about location, location, location in the historic center and walking distance to the Vatican, Forum Romanum and Trastevere. In one hour I had walked to Vatican, crossed back to Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi, The Spanish Steps and sipped a refreshment on Piazza del Popolo. We were initially installed in a room to the back and... More

This hotel is located 1 block from Piazza Navona and within walking distance of most of the sites in Rome. After reading mixed reviews of this hotel I was a little worried before my trip. I ended up loving it. All of the gentleman at the front desk were really friendly, the breakfast was good with lots of choices, and... More

We had a three bed room it was clean and tidy, always had hot water and clean sheets and towels. Air con worked well so we had windows shut at night, we were on the first floor and the road noise wasn't too bad at all considering the location. You did get a little noise from people in corridors but... More

There is no arguing that the location of this hotel is amazing. You can walk everywhere, and there is so much good food here! I do have to say that this definitely isn't a 4 Star hotel. The walls are paper thin; I could hear another room's tv so loudly I thought I turned mine on by mistake, and every... More

Excellent location. Everything is near to the hotel. We stayed 4 nights. Staff was excellent. They also kept our luggage after the check out. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was acceptable. Our room was a bit small and old. And the double bed was small.

The hotel was in a great location to visit Rome. The price was right. Food and roof top rest. was great. Bed was hard, street noise, fair AC, but no English TV. Service was very good. Don't take a corner room. Bathroom had no place to put anything. Our friend's room was much better.

We arrived in Rome for a three day break, we travelled from the airport by bus into the centre of Rome for €4 and then a taxi to the hotel for €10. This hotel is perfectly placed for all the top attractions. Hotel Genio is quaint and has a rustic italian charm. The rooms are clean, with fresh bedding and... More

The best and only good thing about the hotel is it's location. It's right next to piazza navona. But four stars is deceiving... The air conditioner in the rooms barely work. It is sooo hot in the summer. My family had 4 rooms and they were all stifling hot. Called front desk and nothing. Barely slept at night because of... More
