We had a three bed room it was clean and tidy, always had hot water and clean sheets and towels. Air con worked well so we had windows shut at night, we were on the first floor and the road noise wasn't too bad at all considering the location. You did get a little noise from people in corridors but... More

There is no arguing that the location of this hotel is amazing. You can walk everywhere, and there is so much good food here! I do have to say that this definitely isn't a 4 Star hotel. The walls are paper thin; I could hear another room's tv so loudly I thought I turned mine on by mistake, and every... More

Excellent location. Everything is near to the hotel. We stayed 4 nights. Staff was excellent. They also kept our luggage after the check out. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was acceptable. Our room was a bit small and old. And the double bed was small.

The hotel was in a great location to visit Rome. The price was right. Food and roof top rest. was great. Bed was hard, street noise, fair AC, but no English TV. Service was very good. Don't take a corner room. Bathroom had no place to put anything. Our friend's room was much better.

We arrived in Rome for a three day break, we travelled from the airport by bus into the centre of Rome for €4 and then a taxi to the hotel for €10. This hotel is perfectly placed for all the top attractions. Hotel Genio is quaint and has a rustic italian charm. The rooms are clean, with fresh bedding and... More

The best and only good thing about the hotel is it's location. It's right next to piazza navona. But four stars is deceiving... The air conditioner in the rooms barely work. It is sooo hot in the summer. My family had 4 rooms and they were all stifling hot. Called front desk and nothing. Barely slept at night because of... More

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and thought it was situated in a great location (Piazza Navona). We love walking and felt the Colosseum, Vatican City, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps were very walkable from this location. "Walkable" as in at most 30 minutes. We didn't use public transportation once. We stayed in room 503 which... More

Well located just north of piazza Navona. Booked a 3 bed room. Got one on the 5th floor with a small balcony. Quite a nice view. And the air conditioning worked well. You definitely need it in the middle of summer in Rome! Room and bath was clean and spacious. Breakfast was included. Served on the 6th floor with the... More

Arrived at Genio. They were very nice, but as soon as we arrived they switched us to another hotel Boutique. They paid for taxi etc, but still very much an inconvenience. Get to the other hotel and room was very small, 205 rm. Too tired to argue, but I won't be back!

Although an older property, Hotel Genio was a excellent value. The rooftop area is nice, as was the included breakfast. The staff was helpful and you can't beat the location near Plaza Navnona and the Pantheon, and walkable to St. Peter's. The rooms are well kept and the bathroom in our room was great. Clean.
