The hotel is in a fabulous location for exploring Rome. If you are looking for nothing more than a place to rest your head at the end of a long day then this is a cheap and cheerful option. Albeit the beds were very firm! The website is quite rose tinted in terms of the photographs. Other reviews that detail... More

Small rooms (but typical of central Europe), clean bathrooms and simple but sufficient breakfast. Very close to Santa Maria Magiore and easy acces to the center by metro. Totally recommend for a 3 day visit.

The price was huge for the actual state of the room. Everything was old. Not worth the money at all. The rooms were very tiny, very noisy both due to the location (are facing the main roads) but mostly due to the hotel maids who are slamming the doors and speaking very loudly during cleaning. I am not sure which... More

The Kennedy is not a five star hotel. The rooms aren't big and the lobby and eating areas are small. The building is old (this is Rome!!) It is very close to the Rome Termini station (a great starting point for many tours and for trips to other parts of Italy), handy to quite a few restaurants and only a... More

Decent, solid hotel. Good breakfast choice (useful if you want a packed lunch) and outstanding central location. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Reception staff were helpful. I'd go back there in a heartbeat.

nice clean and well located next to the station and landmarks... nice little restaurant just at 20metres, cheap price italy is an Impressive and magnificent place. The great monuments all around is just astonishing, the detail in every museum is a proof of the romansy power.

The room was very old and had obviously not been redone in years. the bathroom was tiny and you could hardly get to the toilet and there was hair in the shower. The breakfast was underwhelming and there was not anything savory to eat. I would not stay there again.

I booked a superior room for 3 nights but I am not sure if it is a real superior room. Because superior rooms are on the 1st floor but mine is on the 2nd floor. Very noise at night and I kept asking to do something about the noise but the staff didn't seem to care. Location is great. It... More

Excellent location and few mins walk to the Roma train station . Hotel is a three star living and lives up to it's name. It's good for single travellers or those without kids. Staffs not quite helpful , perhaps of the language barrier , otherwise the location is great .

I was in Rome in December, a day before having to catch a pretty early return flight from Fiumucino to New York. I did *not* have reservations and so checked out a number of options for accommodations considering... location, distance to brief sightseeing, meals, transportation, cost etc. I checked online sources but also went to and personally checked out several... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
