Our air conditioning did not work in our room. When we notified the front desk of this we where told that every rooms airconditioning was the same and that there was nothing that could be done. The temperature in our room was 28 degrees, even with the window open and very, very humid. We found another hotel to stay in... More

We stayed here for three nights, it's close to the train station which we where happy about, but where it is situated does make you feel like you are in the 'ghetto'. It is close to the stop for the hop on hop off tours which we frequently used although you get hassled as you walk down the streets to... More

Just aweful. The 'bed' had 2 matressess which were different heights with no padding at all, the pillows flat. Staff were very unhelpful, could not care less and were not interested in finding a solution - their comment was a shrug of the shoulders and 'what am I going to do about it'. The bedding and staff attitude was below... More

I read the reviews of this place before I came and I was worried. After our less than pleasant stay in Florence, I was prepared for the worst. I had booked an apartment at their other accommodation, JFK House, but when I arrived there we were advised that we were actually staying at the Kennedy Hotel. The reason I booked... More

Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms nothing flash and shower was humorously small, but there was a certain charm about the place that I loved. Breakfasts were basic but delucious. Great little base to explore the city. Would definitely stay again.

As the title says, the location is fantastic for termini, but we were located away from the hotel, which was strange, there was a bad smell outside the room due to the bins, however our room was pleasant and clean, the inside is definitely better that the outside, great location, but nothing to write home about

AMAZING LOCATION! I stayed here on the 29th and it was the best location I could have hoped for. The service was above and beyond, Would highly recommend this hotel for the great quality buffet breakfast and cappuccinos! Rooms were much bigger then average european hotels and very clean. I highly reccomend! Very close to Spanish steps and train station.

Stayed here with my partner, rooms was nothing flash but was very clean, tidy which we have struggled to find in a lot of 3-4 star hotels while over here. Rooms had a/c meaning we could escape the heat. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall we found it well priced, clean and tidy.

I was given this hotel by my travel agent. Never again! The bed is like a slab of cement! The pillows are exactly the same. The air con didn't cook the room down at all. The wifi is only useful in the foyer. You don't really get any connection in the room. The shower head had mould all over it!... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
