5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed two different nights at this beautiful old hotel on Via Veneto. The public spaces are carefully preserved to showcase the historic era when the hotel first opened while the guest rooms are updated to be elegant but with all modern conveniences. High ceilings, windows on Via Veneto, the most attentive staff, special touches make this a lovely experience.... More

Been here a few times good location for shopping and getting around Rome. This is an elegant hotel to relax and pamper yourself in. If you want fast and boring do not come here. The restaurant if fabulous, rooms stylish. Consistent staff over many years. For quality and style stay here.

We had only a brief stay at the Majestic, but would definitely go back. The room was huge and gorgeous. Although it is located on the Via Veneto, it is very quiet, which is not always easy to achieve in a busy location. The windows are designed to block out the noise. The staff was very accommodating. We had a... More

Although I have traveled widely in the US, I have experienced my share of great hotels including those that I would avoid. The Hotel Majestic not only surpassed my expectations but also raised the bar for other hotels whether it be in the US or Europe. Great service and comfortable rooms and amenities. The dining room offers a variety of... More

Great hotel. Stayed in two rooms, traveling with three young kids. Staff great, very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very nice, well appointed, nice bathrooms. Breakfast was included in our rate and was very good. Location is also really good. Walk away from Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and good shopping. Some good restaurants close by.

Hotel is very well located , we stayed here for 3 nights with the breakfast included . The breakfast is 30 Euros witch I didn't think it was worth it since I don't eat that much. The room we stayed at was a suit with 3 beds facing the Main Street with a small balcony . The bathrooms are clean... More

A grand hotel, with large reception areas and a classic atmosphere. The concierge was brilliant at sorting us out with restuarants. We also had great experiences with local guides from Eyes of Rome. We ate in the hotel once, and then used other local restaurants to get a varied experince of the city and it's food. The rooms were lovely, but the... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
