My husband and I stayed at Hotel Majestic in June 2014. The room itself was clean, very comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. Its location is excellent, being centrally located and within walking distance of many major attractions. Use caution when utilizing the concierge service, as when we expressed interested in going on a guided tour, they offered for us to schedule... More

A luxurious hotel with outstanding service in central Rome. Landmarks are within walking distance and the concierge is helpful for tourists. Restaurant is elegant and dishes are of high quality. However, the rooms are comparatively too small (22 square meter or less), and room temperature is not adjustable (too hot in winter).

One of the best hotels I've stayed. Perfect location, walking distance to a lot of Rome's landmarks. Service was great and very courteous. They made reservations for us and tried to accomodate our schedule and wishes. Overall, perfect.

When we got to Rome we were very tired, hotel was very quiet for an afternoon nap! Check in was fast and easy and took us to our room showed us how everything worked. We were within easy walking distance to The Spanish steps and some some other pretty squares, the subway was just outside the door at the end... More

This may be a different story in the summer when the hotel is full but I was expecting a similar standard to other leading hotels of the world and we just didn't get it here. It's undeniably a beautiful hotel in a prime location and in the dolce vita times it would be the place to be. However, it's a... More

We stayed in this hotel with my mom over Thanksgiving 2014. To be very honest, I was quite suspicious when I booked the hotel since despite having much better reviews than any of the other 5 star hotels in similar central location on tripadvisor, it was 20- 30% cheaper. One of the reviews I read had mentioned the hotel being... More

Very good hotel in an outstanding location. Expensive comparatively, but worth it for the excellent service. Restaurant is not great, but how many hotel restaurants are. We would definitely be happy to go back there.

Well located and beautifully appointed hotel. Hotel Majestic is first class from start to finish--the staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. My husband and I were celebrating our 5th anniversary and the hotel welcomed us with a lovely bottle of Prosecco, nice touch. The room was one of our favorites on our trip, large in size including the bathroom... More

I stayed here with my husband from the 16th to the 21st of November. We had a lovely corner room on the fifth floor with a beautiful garden view. The decor of the hotel is old world; preserved, restored and renovated in that order. The bathroom, although elegant, was not modern. Breakfast was superb and the hotel is extremely well... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
