Awesome location! Staffs are great and very helpful! Spanish steps is only about 10 minutes walk away. Shopping is so easy as they are all at the Spanish steps area, so also about 10 Minutes walk away. Few restaurants just within 3 mins walk from the hotel!

The hotel is very beautiful and the standard of the rooms is great. So is the location. Unfortunately, the service from the staff was very poor. The room was very hot, and it was too noisy from outside to keep the windows open during the night. When complaining to the reception about the problem they didn't offer to turn on... More

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for two days. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Claudio. He is super friendly, spoke perfect English and helped us navigate our two jam-packed days of sight-seeing so we could see everything. Lanfranco and Faisal were also extremely kind, again spoke perfect English along with all the other hotel staff; from... More

The Majestic is very conveniently located. We walked virtually everywhere....even though it was 100 degrees! The room was sharp and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is not a budget hotel but it is an excellent value. We can't wait to go back!

We stayed here as the first stop on our honeymoon. The hotel is beautiful, with old art deco lifts and a stunning dining room. We checked in after a long day travelling and were hoping for a spectacular room (we had mentioned it was our honeymoon online and at reception). The porter took us up to our room and it... More

My wife and I capped off our European vacation with a stay at the Hotel Majestic and could not have been more pleased with our choice. From the moment we were met at the train station by one of the Majestic's drivers, who not only navigated Roman traffic, but the crowded train station, too, like a pro, we were treated... More

The elevator was the main attraction, beautiful wood and the old style pulley elevator. The Majestic's room was smaller than I expected plus the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The bed was hard and the pillows very thin. The bathroom was updated, no vanity, and small. The desk area had a mixture of very accommodating and friendly service to a... More

Fabulous breakfast on the balcony each morning. Really comfy beds. Great location. Large and very stylish suites, great restaurant and concierge recommendation for dinner a stand out. Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

I love this hotel!! Can't say enough.. It has beautiful old world charm throughout, like the small old fashioned elevator, stunning ornate breakfast room, gorgeous terrace (see TP or hotel's website pix) where you can have you breakfast or a drink at the end of a long day, small quaint bar (with an antique absinthe maker), etc. The rooms are... Very nice place. Very elegant and super room! There's shampoo and conditioner at the bathroom, good bed, and free wifi! THE ONLY PROBLEM is that the breakfast is not included in the price and you have to pay appart (30€) which is over the regular price. BUT there's a nice café right next to the hotel where u can have... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
