Expensive, but worth it, and more reasonable than most hotels at this level. Great service, very clean, comfortable. King bed is just 2 put together, like most hotels in Rome. Restaurant was very pricey. Location is great, but we did have to use taxis quite a bit... the area is touristy, not the best for walking around to most places,... More

This was my first visit to the Hotel Majestic in ten years - a family owned and managed hotel on the Veneto I used to frequent while on business trips to Rome. Very 'oldie worldy', with wonderful architectural details, extremely comfortable bedrooms and good service. The restaurant serves an excellent breakfast, is very popular for lunch, particularly in summer when... More

My 2nd time to this hotel this year and again perfect setting, excellent service, great location. Giuseppe, head of the concierge is fantastic and super helpful. Be sure to take a walk to Villa Borghese around the corner.

A Luxury Hotel. It is a block from the Barberini Square. The breakfast is wonderful with several options of choise. The waiters are so kind. The room is huge. The bathroom is big. Close of the most attractions in Rome. Room service is excellent.

We stayed for five nights over the Christmas holiday. We found the rooms to be comfortable, although the decor is a bit odd and dated. Most of the painted surfaces were covered with a high gloss, white enamel paint with bright red curtains. We stayed in a Deluxe Room and our children were in a Superior Room. Based on price,... If you are planning to stay out of the hotel most of the time but still want a bit of luxury then this is a good hotel. The location is very convenient and walking distance to alot of touristic locations. Nice little cafes around for breakfast lunch or dinner. Close to the metro too. Breakfast was alright ( average).

- the hotel is very old school, and yes, very old too - its "hardware" is overdue for some upgrades, such as the shower - "software" is fantastic. I was staying for 3 nights and asked to move room after night 1 due to a small problem, which was easily and quickly accommodated. Service was great. They remembered your name.... More

If you fancy a romantic week end this is the perfect setting in one of the most breathtaking cities in the world. The room was very beautilful and elegantly furnished, the staff was very friendly and professional, to top it off the breakfast couldn't have been better, the cappuccino is highly recommended.

Upon arrival in Rome, we entered the most beautiful hotel, called the Hotel Majestic Roma. We arrived at 5:00 pm and were immediately taken to our Deluxe room facing the front of the hotel, and shops and beautiful trees across the street. The Majestic hotel is a member of Leading Hotels of the World. The rooms are spacious and have... More

My daughter and I stayed 5 nights here recently and we noticed the staff to not be very friendly or helpful. The Concierge was not eager to help and was quite rude. There was one staff that was friendly and helpful. The location was good but I would not recommend this hotel to friends.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
