Hotel Doria was a pleasure to stay in for our week long holiday to Rome. We had a double room for the two of us. Here are the key points: Friendly staff always ready with a smile Towels (2 hand, 2 body) changed daily. The towels are thin but work fine. Bed linen changed once during the week WiFi is... more

Price: NOK 2.600 (4 nights incl. breakfast) Located by Santa Maria Maggiore, wich is about 5 min. walk from Termini station, it's not the fanciest area in Rome, but that's reflected in the price. On the other hand, Rome city center is not a big area so all major sights are within walking distance. And of course with Termini close... more

I stayed at Hotel Doria for 5 nights in July 2009. The hotel is in a really great location. The staff was super friendly and chatty. The breakfast room was nice. I just had cereal, juice and apple sauce. The waitress in the breakfast room was super nice. The elevator is incredibly small that I could barely fit me and... more

This hotel was in a great location, right beside Santa Maria Maggiore and about 5 minutes walk to Termini. It is a small hotel right on the busy Via Merulana, but despite the street noise, shutters and glass blocked out the noise from the street at night. The room was reasonably small and the towels were bizarre ( yes like... more

Me and my mom decided to book a room in Hotel Doria because of it's location close to everything, reasonable price and the mostly positive reviews of it. And we were not dissappointed, hotel Doria was absolutely perfect place to stay. It was close to almost everything and if you want to go further, the Termini station is just two... more

I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. From the moment i walked in the staff at reception made me feel welcome. Which is something that is lacking in most hotels these days. The breakfast was huge and was served coffee by a lovely lady. Staff at reception were very helpful and made sure i had all the information i... more

Hotel Doria is a small but comfortable hotel. When you are only using it as a base, then it meets all your needs. The room was small, and the en suite even smaller! If you are a "big" person, you may have problems fitting into the shower! The breakfast was basic but tasty and I thought the coffee was lovely!... more

Having decided a spur of the moment trip to Rome I had to search very hard for something half decent for the money. I finally settled on the Doria due to its positive reviews on trip advisor and am very glad that I did. The hotel is close to Termini but outwith the seedy area and is in walking distance... more
