Good location, clean and neat. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful, suggesting areas to visit and restaurants to eat at. They organised us transport to and from the airport at the same rate as the train service. Breakfast atmosphere was very unpleasant and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, we had to move our seating indoors and this was... More

The hotel is in a good location. The bathroom shower is extremely small, but water temperature and pressure is great. The twin beds are small but comfortable. The hotel is very clean and breakfast free with meats, crossiants, pastries, coffee, and juice.

This is a wonderful property situated at walking distance from Termini. Metro, Tram and Bus stops were also closeby. The Area is very safe at night. We were out at 11 PM and there were no problems. Wifi and Breakfast are free.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights at the start of April 2015. This hotel was very clean, well kept with friendly and helpful staff. It is very close to the train station and within walking distance of all of the attractions Rome city centre has to offer. This is a great base for your holiday as the location... More

Good location (close to the train station, but in a nice street), small but clean room , quiet for sleeping, and a good breakfast in an open area with a splendid view from the city. I really liked this hotel.

My travel buddy and I arrived and we got checked in straight away- I sent the hotel an email asking for an early check in and they replied saying this was fine! ROOM: As a base, the room was fine. It was fairly high up and had two twin beds, a desk, chair, telly and an en suite. It was... More

The hotel is very close to the Termini train station. Coliseum and Forum in the walking distance (15 min) . Hotel is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. I spent one night in the single room, which was cozy and clean. It was very quiet at night, so I had a very good sleep. Breakfast was rich enough, and... More

Good location if some way out from the real centre of Rome which is a 30 minute walk or €10 taxi ride. Old school, genuine hospitality and really helpful staff. Expect small rooms, smaller bathrooms and a price which is amongst the best. No bar is a bit of a pain. Recommended

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
