The Best Western Hotel President was good value for the money. Perfect location. The entrance to the hotel was literally steps away from the subway Marzoni Line A stop. It made it simple to get around Rome. My room was small, bathroom was decent sized, and it was just me it was perfect. Everything was very clean. I would stay... more

President was a budget choice for us. The standard room size is actually quite decent and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is nothing much to write about. Staff response was varied, i.e., not all front desk staff was friendly. Infact one gentleman manning th front desk was very unhelpful. Location wise it is quite far from the major sites. Only... more

We were reviewing the Hotel President Rome through the Best Western website and made a reservation for a 3 night stay. Somehow the reservation was kicked to a third party portal who did not send us an email confirmation. We tried to cancel the reservation (location of hotel is bad) and the code we had didn't work. We called Best... more

We stayed at the President Hotel in Rome after ariving at our pre booked hotel and finding that it was awful and we didn't want to stay there. So we were driving around Rome wondering where the hell to stay when we passed the President and seen the four stars and went inside to see if they had a room... more

This is a nice Hotel. I have been there in June 2009. The area is obviously not the Historical area of Rome but very close to Colosseum and Roman Forum. I found it very convenient as it is just few steps from Manzoni metro and also easy to commute to Roma Termini station and Airport. The staffs are well mannered,... more

Hotel is just O.K. Location is near the Metro and the breakfast was good. We had one room that us updated and it was nice. I would not recommed this hotel to families. It is to far from all the main attractions in Rome. However, if you are going on business and just needed to go from place to place... more

We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We found a great deal online and so went for it. A 4-star hotel in Rome would usually be a bit out of our budget range, but with the discount, it was essentially the same price as many more basic hotels. It is located right by the Manzoni Metro station, which... more

We travelled to the hotel in April 2009 for four nights. The hotel is amazingly close to the metro station ''manzoni'' , just in front of the entrance, very convenient for transportation to the city and airport! Our room , a double, faced bakyards to opposite buildings, was very small in comparison to other rooms in the same floor which faced... more

I stayed at the President Hotel 26-29 January 2009, my husband and I had taken my mother to Rome for her 70th birthday, so we had a mix of travellers from mid 30's to mid 70's. We booked the flights and hotel via Easyjet and although worried about the standard of the hotel due to the price, we were plesantly... more
