Excellent location. Metro station literally steps away from hotel. Short walk to Colisseum one way and Termini St another. Great size rooms, huge bathroom for a hotel. Really good breakfast to start the day. The hotel seemed to be quite busy but lovely and peaceful.

Stayed two nights here while attending a conference nearby. The staff were friendly enough but the room we had, which was even marked on the door as NON SMOKING was a real disappointment. It reeked of cigarette smoke! We aired it out as much as possible and it did dissipate some, but the smell was ingrained into the furnishings. This... More

Rooms are with modern facility based on its class and very clean. Its just a bit noisy as it is facing the main road. Next time, will take a room facing back and maybe its quiete. Breakfast selection is great. Surely you will find your favorite breakfast meal. Prime location as it is within leisure walking distance to shopping areas,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in April and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has one of the best locations, and is literally next door to Manzoni Metro Station. There are plenty of small shops, bars, restaurants and gelateria's along the street too. We had a standard double room on the 2nd floor overlooking the courtyard. Although it was... More

I stayed in this hotel with friends a few weeks ago. The location is great being a few steps away from the metro line and only 10min walk from the coliseum. I had a nice standard room on the 4th Floor at the front , a bit noisy but not so much that I couldn’t sleep. The rooms have electric... More

We stayed from 2nd April for 3 nights over Easter. So the hotel was busy. but that didn't detract in any way over the service. It was perfect from start to finish. We had room 320, which was small but perfectly comfortable. To the rear of the hotel. very quiet. A brilliant walk in shower. The most amazingly comfortable bed... More

This is an excellent hotel to stay in Rome. The location is AAA as it is just next to a metro station as well as close to some places for sightseeing. The reception staff is very helpful, and happy to help you. The room was clean, comfortable, with a nice bathroom. I don't thing there was something missing, so as... More

Although the hotel is showing its age, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is excellent, and the location is extremely convenient to all the sights with the Marzoni Metro station just outside the door.

Close to the central station... This hotel provides excellent clean rooms... Impressive bathrooms... Rich breakfast... And much more... It's a very convenient and clean hotel... Not the best neighborhood though...

This is a great hotel with a fantastic location. It is walkable from the train station (my wife and I were able to roll out two large bags easily from the station). The receptionist was fantastic. He allowed us to check in early (at 10:30 AM) and kindly stored our suitcases till we returned. He was polite and fantastic throughout... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
