Hotel staff really helpful and friendly, Just 20 paces away from Metro stop Manzoni (filiberti exit). Bar staff helpful not a great selection of food choices, but will try to accomodate. Only one workling lift at present as they are making improvements, but didnt wait too long. Our room had not much of a view, but were cleaned daily and... More

My wife and I travelled with Riviera Travel on the 21/05/12 and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. On arrival the luggage were not delivered to the room as promised and had to be collected by ourselves after some considerable delay - not a good start!! Two Basil Fawlty characters on the reception desk were unwelcoming and unhelpful. This... More

This hotel was our choice for our last night in Italy since it was close to the train station, and easy to get to after the train-ride into Rome from Florence. It's also near a subway station; however, the only historical site that's reasonably nearby is the Colosseum. I wouldn't pick this as my primary hotel when visiting Rome, since... More

This central hotel is a ten minute walk from the Coliseum and a twelve minute walk to the main train station (Termini). Situated near the corner of Emmanuelle Filiberto and Lubicana, the Manzoni subway station is within 50 feet from the entrance to the hotel. The hotel lobby needs some updating (they are in fact installing new elevators at this... More

Plus: 10 steps from Manzoni metro station - direct A line to Termini, Spanish steps, Vatican city; 10 minutes walk on street to Colliseum; clean, however tiny rooms; good choice of breakfast - not only croissants&coffe in local style; reasonable priced drinks in the bar; few groceries just around to buy soft drinks or fresh fruits; free wi-fi in room... I visited Rome around 1st of May with my wife an had stayed at this hotel. From the previous reviews got from tripadvisor I expected an average hotel, but this was more than I expected. The hotel itself was close to the center and right near a metro station. The rooms were big enough and the bed comfortable. The bathroom... More

Room was lovely with nice shower. Fascilities poor. Only one lift working. It was a nightmare waiting for one list with so many people staying. Loby area quite small with limited seating. Very dated. Definitely 3 star rating.

There must be better hotels to use in Rome as a sole traveller, but this is a good hotel for groups, right by a metro stop and with well appointed rooms and a smart bar and breakfast room. I've marked it down a point as the breakfast offer was of a pretty basic quality. Also only one creaky lift due... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the room to be well equipped and comfortable. Best thing about this hotel is the pillows, after 6 weeks of travelling Europe these were the best we have ever slept on. The toiletries were a nice surprise, a little bit of luxury compared to the basics supplied by other hotels. Breakfast was... More
