We stayed two nights and we were very happy with the location, just a short walk from the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and other top sites. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was delightful, served on the rooftop. A big plus was the breakfast start time of 7 am. Many mornings we had to be on our way... More

My wife, 2 kids and I stayed here mid July foe 2 days pre-cruiise. We booked a quad room. Arrived from airport around 1030am and room was not ready ( as expected) but Jan at front desk was wonderful - stored our luggage, pointed us to the rest room, provided the Internet log-on, and let us chill for a while... I've stayed at Albergo Cesari several times over nearly 20 years and it remains my favourite place to stay in Rome. It is in the centre of everything. A few minutes to the Pantheon one way and the Trevi fountain the other way. The forum, the Colosseum and even St Peter's are walkable from here. There are plenty of restaurants,... More

We stayed in a family room with our 2 young daughters. Room had everything you would want with kids- lots of space, bath, black out shutters, air conditioning, tv. Emmanuel, Jan and other staff happily answered all our questions and gave us good tips. Great central location but very quiet in rooms. Roof terrace has lovely ambience with picturesque views... The Albergo Cesari is centrally located on a pedestrian only street about half way between the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. You cannot ask for a better location. The staff is very welcoming and breakfast on the roof top deck is a highlight of the stay.

Outstanding hotel. Stayed for a total of four nights and found the hotel to be excellent. A great way to start the day before touring Rome is to have their wonderful breakfast on the roof top. For anyone who wants a great hotel in the heart of Rome this is the hotel.

This is a must - the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are fantastic and so friendly and helpful. It is close to everything and the best part is having your pre-dinner drink up on the roof each evening, which is where you also have breakfast. I'm wheat intolerant and they catered for me with so many alternative foods.

This was our first stop on a 2 month European holiday. The hotel is very central and you are able to walk to all the main attractions which is a real plus. The lovely rooftop garden is also a great place to enjoy the view of the city. But, what makes this hotel stand out is the amazing service provided... More

Our family of five (two adults, two teens and one senior) stayed here for three nights and it was one of the best boutique hotels ever! It is a traditional, charming hotel with 4 floors (elevator and stairs) with spacious, clean, air conditioned, and comfortable rooms (large private bathrooms) - we had two triples. Admittedly, rates are high, but worth... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in September. The hotel has a great location, right between the Pantheon and Fontana di Trevi. It is small and cosy, and the breakfast terasse is amazing. You sit on the roof and have a view over the (almost) entire city. What a great way to start your day! The hotel is so central,... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
