So disappointed in this hotel. The location was good. Staff we OK on arrival but not particularly friendly. Room was a good size and bathroom was big but the shower was in serious need of a good clean as was the bathroom generally. The street noise was dampened well by the double glazing. Roof top terrace was nice and the... More

The Albergo Cesari, by far, has the best location in all of Rome! We stayed her for 3 nights and truly enjoyed our stay! The hotel is located 2 blocks from the Pantheon and 2 blocks from the Trevi Fountain and all of its surroundings. It's just a 10 minute walk to the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument and the surrounding... More

Really enjoyed the hotel. Right in the heart of rome...a short walk to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooftop terrace very nice. Our room was basic, nothing fancy and small, but clean and it worked for us. Hotel will arrange for a car to pick you up at the airport (60 Euro) well worth it.... More

This was my first trip to Italy, a birthday present from my dad. I was with my mother, sister and daughter. My daughter and I shared one room and my mother and sister shared another. Our room was wonderful, everything was new and the view of the street below was wonderful. The staff at the hotel was very accommodating. This... More

My family and I (plus two of our adult children's friends) had three rooms at the Albergo Cesari at the end of July after 2 weeks at a villa in the Italian countryside. I thought the rooms might feel cramped after the villa, but they were very comfortable, and recently renovated. The air conditioning was fabulous, especially welcome in July... More

My family of 4 rented 2 rooms and we stayed 7 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were pleased that the rooms were larger than your typical European rooms. The employees were all very polite and helpful. The air conditioning worked extremely well, which was nice as August in Italy is very hot. The breakfast buffet was good and... More

Just completed a 6 day stay at Cesari. Location of hotel is just outstanding. Hotel is located just off Piazza Di Pietra on a queit street with no cars. About 3 blocks from the Pantheon and 3 blocks from Trevi Fountain. You can just walk to everything. The front desk was just great and very accomodating. From suggesting restaurants, to... More

The Albergo Cesari is in a great location (right between the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon), but that's really all it has going for it. The rooms are of a decent size, but they are by no means "clean." The "freshly laundered" sheets and towels were covered in hair every day. The furniture is rather old and worn, and my... More

The location of Albergo Cesari is perfect for exploring the historical part of Rome - we were able to walk to all places of interest, including some lovely restaurants in Trastevere. We were lucky to get upgraded to a superior room after a problem with the sink in our standard room and although the bathrooms were exactly the same (spotlessly... More
