My husband and I recently took a trip to Europe visiting three cities. Our first stop was Rome. We did a ton of research on hotels within our budget and we ended up booking at the Albergo Cesari. The best thing about this hotel was it's location. It's located between the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon on a small side-street... More

Great hotel, great location, great staff. I stayed in a HUGE quad room with four twin beds. With four women traveling together, we were nervous that the space would be too small. In fact, it was huge and had two closets, two side tables, two huge chairs, a desk, a sitting chair and a tv stand in addition to the... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in July as part of a 2 week stay in Italy with our young son. The location of this hotel is brilliant as it is right in the historical centre of Rome. We booked a superior triple room which was spacious (rather than a double room with an extra bed squeezed in)... More

A friend and I traveled throughout Italy in Oct. 2009 and this was our home base for the Rome portion of the trip. It was clean, well maintained and had a very good breakfast on the roof top every morning. If you get a chance, go up to the rooftop a pre-dinner glass of wine - it is very nice... More

My 15-year-old son and I just spent two wonderful nights at the Cesari after an 11-day cruise. We both enjoyed the proximity to Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona as well as the hotel's central location to almost everything Rome has to see. We particularly enjoyed breakfast on the hotel rooftop each morning overlooking the surrounding neighborhood and the food choices... More

I stayed at the Albergo Cesari for four nights and I was extremely pleased with its location in Rome. It is three blocks from the Pantheon and from the Trevi Fountain. It fronts a pedestrian street so there is no traffic noise although some nights the restaurant clientele was a bit noisy. There are many small restaurants and shops very... More

I booked 2 nights at the Albergo Cesari. There are many good things to mention about this tourist hotel like: Location Good rooms Very good breakfast Very helpful staff (I really tested them with all the problems I had in Rome!) Free wi fi. The central location, rather close to the famous Trevi Fountain was great for me but remember... More

To conclude our beauitful trip in Italy, I decided to book us at Albergo Cesari for our last night based on the reviews I read here. What a disappointment! There are other hotels with a great location for half the price. Nothing special here. Too many turns and stairs that lead us to our very sad room. Inside in our... More

Dear Guest, With reference to the review you left, we apologize with you if our service didn't satisfy your expectations. Probably nothing special here, even if the Albergo Cesàri offers more than other 3 stars hotels nearby, such as our beautiful terrace or the in room complimentary mineral water and the coffee/tea maker falicities, or the very rich buffet breakfast... I was at Albergo Cesari for 3 nights. It was an amazing stay due to the location, very friendly, responsible, professional staff...and the impressive roof top restaurant. The rooms were small of course but clean, comfortable and safe. It was easy to find because it's in the heart of where everything is at in Novona. You want to walk to... More

We stayed at this property in June for three nights before a cruise and agree with the previous reviews. The location is second to none though recommend going for a walk to get pictures at Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon before 8 AM to get photos without a billion people around. Each major attraction was well within walking distance. The... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
