We stayed at the Alberfo Cesari for 3 nights before a cruise....what a treat. They arranged for our pickup from the airport and our transport to the cruise ship.....the hotel is in the best location, actually in the center of Rome. It is within walking distance of everything, so close to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Everyone at the hotel... More

Albergo Cesari was a great experience. We arrived from London and since we got there, we felt quite comfortable. Everyone at the reception was really helpful, and all the staff was always really friendly. If you come from Roma Termini, a taxi ride is no more than 15 euro or 50 from Fulmicino. Albergo Cesari is at an excellent location.... More

We just returned from a vacation in Rome, Italy, 9/17/12. We stayed at the Albergo Cesari for 10 days. Great location for walking to all the majors sites. This was the first time visit to Europe for my daughter and her boyfriend. I wanted to take my daughter to Italy for her 40th birthday. I had been to Rome 7... More

My husband and I have just returned from a trip in Italy in which we stayed in the Albergo Cesari in Rome for three nights. I originally chose this hotel due to the location and the positive reviews; I wasn’t disappointed on either front. We paid €377 for three nights B&B through booking.com (although the hotels own website was a... More

Located between the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon (and right next to the Temple of Hadrian), the Albergo Cesari is a fantastic base for your stay in Rome. The hotel itself is located on a small pedestrian street, but the area is easily accessible by vehicles. Upon arrival in Rome, we took a taxi from Termini Station, which cost us... More

Excellent location, in the meddle of the historic center. As it was the first time my daughter visit Rome, we decided to stay in a location that we ( two women alone) could walk around, even in the evening without depending on cars or buses. The hotel is located in a lovely pedestrian street , with lots of restaurants, souvenirs... More

But from the perspective of someone who has been to Rome four times before and has a view perhaps clouded by a North American large city perspective, this place is a dump. Where do I start? Perhaps with the front door guy who spends most of his time smoking a butt in between lying to guests about how long the... More

Dear Guest, Following your negative TripAdvisor review, we have moved all necessary check-up needed and we also have taken action regarding your reservation and the reason for which we have not allocated you in a Superior room. Nice, clean and comfortable standard room. AC was great especially since it was in the 90s while we were there in September 2011 for 3 nights. Desk people were very friendly and it was a five minute walk to the Parthenon and 10 minutes the other way to Trevi Fountain. The breakfast buffet on the rooftop terrace was terrific with... More

The guys at front desk were great - nothing was too much of a hassle!! Rooftop for breakfast and nighttime drinks was amazing. Thank you cesari and... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
