You cannot beat the location of this hotel for touring, eating and hospitality. The staff is wonderful. A roof-top breakfast or evening cocktails is hard to beat. The rooms are very small, but efficient, with adequate bathrooms. The rooms were very clean for an older hotel. The beds are very hard and the pillows flat but somehow it worked. After... More

Excellently located hotel near the Pantheon, with gracious staff and service. Room is good size and comfortable although bathrooms are a little small. Breakfast is ample and fresh and served on the on the pretty rooftop, which also serves reasonably priced drinks in the evening. Location on a quieter side street eliminates street noise. All in all great value for... More

We had a wonderful 5 night stay here in the heart of Rome. We originally decided on Albergo Cesari because of it location. We really lucked out! So close to Trevi Fountain the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, amongst other spots. The service is one of the best things about staying here. as the front desk staff provided great concierge service.... This was our second time in two years staying at the Albergo Cesari and we were just as pleased as the first time. The location of this hotel can't be beat as it’s in a central and safe location. When the day's adventures had been too much, I would drop off my mother in our room and go back out... More

Dear TravelGirlHoustonTX, I wish to thank you for thinking of us as soon as you return at home: I’m very happy you choiced and appreciated our hotel also this year! This place is a gem, close to Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Take the lift up 5 floors and enjoy the ambience of a beautiful rooftop setting. Drinks are well priced, it seems like few people are aware of what sits above the busy streets and side walks, beautiful.

Dear Joseph191258, Your review is very appreciated, as you “live” our lounge bar as “external Client”: Thanks a lot! We are very pleased you discovered and loved our rooftop-hotel hosted in a historical building. Our location is great as we are in the heart of Rome, near to Saint Ignazio Church, Via del Corso, Trevi fountain and the Pantheon, as... More

Smiling welcome from the multi-lingual and always helpful Reception staff. This was a return visit for me. My single room had a small separate sitting room which was so convenient for relaxing and for re-packing things bought in the near by shops. Central location between the Pantheon and the Trevi fountain. Don't miss the Doria-Pamphilj Gallery just around the corner!... More

Located within walking distance to almost every major site in Rome. Fountains at Trevi and Panthion are mere steps away. Great restaurants nearby. The rooms are "classic" styled so don't expect many frills, but why would you waste time in your hotel room anyway. Super helpful staff. Great place at a great rate.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay here in the heart of Rome. We booked a double and our daughter and family booked a family suite. Because of the location, we could walk to everything we planned to see. The service is one of the best things about staying here as the front desk staff provided great concierge service with... Stayed at this hotel in June 2015. Location perfect for all the sites. Located just off a very nice little Piazza. Staff friendly and helpful. Roof top patio excellent. Would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
