Booked well in advance (5 mos) on hotel website and received great price for a double comfort room. We used the hotel car service from FCO to hotel; 50E, driver was there waiting to greet us; about 1/2 hour to city. Check in was quick and welcoming, Tommaso suggested a walk to take and off we were. We stayed in... More

Spent a few nights here and was pleased particularly with the location. Everything is very convienent and closes. The rooms were small, but to Italian standard. The breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but again, your typical Italian spread. What made this small hotel stand out was the staff. The staff was stellar! Any request, or need was handled quickly and efficiently.... More

Tomaso at the front desk made our stay excellant. He went above and beyond his duty by being informative, helpful and friendly. I would return to this hotel just to see Tomaso again. He made us feel like family and is a true asset to this hotel. The room was nice for the price in European standards. Only complain was... More

It might not be the best value for money and most parts of the hotel could do with a bit of renovation and extra style (it's suprising to find that hotels in Rome and not particularly stylish), but location is great, service is very friendly and our stay was overall pleasant. Rooftop area for breakfast and drinks at night is... More

Albergo Cesari lived up to every detail their website listed. The check in by Bernardo was warm and efficient. He offered us a helpful map of the area, and plenty of tips what to see, where to eat, and how to get there. Our room was quaint, well equipped and clean. We loved opening our shuttered windows and listening to... More

Good hotel, close to most things. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice spacious room. Breakfast is fine, bread was a bit boring and you have to pay extra for e.g. bacon and eggs. Wifi is free but somewhat slow. Warm water took 2-4 minutes to reach the tap Would recommend this hotel anytime.

It was really great time we spent in this hotel. First of all, it is in super short distance (2-5 minutes) to the Phanteon, Navona and Trevi Fountain. From the roof terrace great view to the wonderful and amazing church of Sant'Ignazio di Loyola (2 minutes distance). Breakfast was also great just no any warm food (only cooked eggs), it... More

Dear Acqua_Azzurro, Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review following your recent stay with us at the Albergo Cesàri. We are in a little pedestrian street in the heart of Rome, just two minutes walking to Piazza Sant’Ignazio and, in the opposite site, to Piazza Colonna. A lot of gelaterie (ice cream shops), cafés, Roman... More

I wasn't impressed at first, but then I quickly fell in love with the location and the service! Everyone was super helpful & it's inbetween the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain at a 5 minute walk. Close to a hop-on tour. It was easy to love Rome here!

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
