5 nights @ Albergo Cesari with my 8yrs daughter and wife. Room was spacious and comfortable at 2nd floor with no noise during the night although facing the street. Breakfast on the rooftop was very nice (including freshly squeezed orang juice) with lovely view of the city particularly at night. Charming building from 18th century with all the necessary amenities.... More

This was the third time we have stayed at this hotel in a 14 yr span. It is in a great location that you can not beat being in Rome and the cost is reasonable. . .that is two of the main reason we stay here while in Rome. It is an old hotel with Italian charm with a true... More

We had a very nice stay at Albergo Cesari. The rooms were clean and the service was friendly. They allowed us to store our bags while we traveled out of Rome for a few days, which was very convenient. The roof top terrace was awesome with beautiful views over the city and a lovely place to have breakfast. The best... More

Just checked out and very happy with our stay in Albergo Cesàri. The location of the hotel is extremely well : close to il Vittoriano, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain, literally just a few minutes on foot. Public transportation @ your fingertips on Via del Corso if needed. Staff (Berardo, Jan, Tomasso, Sharon @ front desk) are all very... More

Nice hotel in the perfect location! The rooftop bar was a lovely way to end the evening and the staff were nice. We had a quad room which was perfect for our family. The area is safe to walk around at night. We didn't hear any noise at night and the price was right for us. We were very happy... More

Just back from spending another 7 days in Rome at one of our favourite hotels. Again, staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. My wife and I were also celebrating my birthday and wedding anniversary. The room which was given to us was lovely and spacious, air con and fridge supplied too. With a... More

We just finished staying here for five days. This is our second stay here, and we can't say enough good things about Albergo Cesari. Here are a few: 1. Location: You're right in the heart of everything. Steps from the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. And just a short walk from the Spanish Steps. It is a big help to... More

Location- 5 min from Trevi, 3 min from Pantheon and 25-30 min from Coliseum. Customer service -great. The room has enough space and is clean (not spotless but clean). The shower is small. Wifi and AC work well. Cold breakfast at the terrace was fine, no hot stuff (eggs/bacon) but they prepare tasty lattes and cappuccinos (no extra charge)

The location of the hotel is perfect for tourists. Right next to the pantheon, 25 minutes of walk to the Vatican & 20 minutes walk to the Colosseum. There are a lot of restaurants and shops around the hotel. The hotel itself it's just an average old hotel. It's clean, breakfast are ok, the stuff is helpful. The only minus... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
