This hotel was outstanding. We walked almost everywhere from its location in the center of old Rome. The lobby has a parlor with newspapers and a computer that you can use to check email or surf net. The front desk staff spoke good english and were very helpful, calling for reservations on our behalf. Even in winter, a nice breakfast... more

I think my title says it all to be honest! I stayed for 5 nights at the Albergo Cesari hotel on Via Pietra. The location is absolutely superb, the Trevi Fountain is less than a 5 minute walk in one direction and the Pantheon and Piazza Della Rotunda a similar distance in the opposite direction with Piazza Venezia and the... more

Our family of 4 (parents and 2 teens) spent 5 nights here. We booked based on reading Tripadvisor and got exactly what we expected. Location is between Pantheon and Via Corso (less than 100 yds to either). Hotel is a typical Euro place; small lobby, small elevator, modest rooms. Ours was quiet (ok, winter, windows closed.). Hotel has a free... more

We had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for four nights. We opted for the “superior double” room. While the price was a little high for what we received, we found the staff to be excellent, extremely helpful and fun to talk to. Situated in a prime location, it’s an easy walk to the sights of Rome. The room... more

This hotel is centrally located to all the tourist sights, but it is an older hotel that could use a renovation. The rooms are sparcely decorated with old bathroom facilities. It is quite noisy and when we asked to be moved, we were told all the rooms were the same. The breakfast buffet there was not as good as the... more

After searching what seemed like forever for a hotel in Rome, I finally came across Albergo Cesari. Most of the reviews do say the location is fabulous, and I could not agree more! When we arrived in Rome we ended up getting a shuttle service to the hotel for 20 euro per person. We didn't mind paying that since the... more

I don't think the location of Albergo Cesari could be bettered. It's 5 minutes in one direction to the Pantheon, 5 minutes in the other to the Trevi Fountain, 10-15 minutes to the Spanish Steps (not really sure how long exactly because we were distracted with shopping every time) and less than 1/2 hour to the Colosseum. The only time... more

We stayed here for two nights and loved it! We could easily get the bus or walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and much more. Much better than staying in the area where the bigger hotels are. The entrance is on a small alleyway with sidewalk seating for two restaurants (which are so-so) but convenient! Lots of... more

I have stayed in at least a dozen hotels in Rome, usually preferring the Campo dei Fiori neighborhood. I had considered the Cesari before, but falsely assumed it was a little too far from the places we like to frequent. I was wrong. The Cesari is in a great location--just a block from the Pantheon and a short stroll to... more

We spent one night in this gem of a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the location. It is in walking distance of the major sites, especially the Pantheon. We really enjoyed walking the neighborhoods and soaking up the flavor of Rome. This was our second time in Rome so we had already done the major sites. My husband thought... more
