Smiling welcome from the multi-lingual and always helpful Reception staff. This was a return visit for me. My single room had a small separate sitting room which was so convenient for relaxing and for re-packing things bought in the near by shops. Central location between the Pantheon and the Trevi fountain. Don't miss the Doria-Pamphilj Gallery just around the corner!... More

Located within walking distance to almost every major site in Rome. Fountains at Trevi and Panthion are mere steps away. Great restaurants nearby. The rooms are "classic" styled so don't expect many frills, but why would you waste time in your hotel room anyway. Super helpful staff. Great place at a great rate.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay here in the heart of Rome. We booked a double and our daughter and family booked a family suite. Because of the location, we could walk to everything we planned to see. The service is one of the best things about staying here as the front desk staff provided great concierge service with... Stayed at this hotel in June 2015. Location perfect for all the sites. Located just off a very nice little Piazza. Staff friendly and helpful. Roof top patio excellent. Would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this local hotel established in 1787 but thoroughly modernized. Reliable wi-fi, wonderful staff (very competent with a sense of humor), a rooftop terrace with a great breakfast and a bar in the evening: what more could you want? Ah -- the best part: the location is terrific, central to most of Rome's famous... More

I highly recommend Albergo Cesari to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Rome. The staff is great (polite, helpful, funny). We spent 4 nights here and we left friends with everyone. The rooms are clean, the wifi is good, the breakfast is on the roof. I suggest having a cappuccino in the morning and an expresso in the... More

My daughter and I booked a twin room while my sister and her husband booked a queen or king. Great location, great staff who provided excellent recommendations for dining. If you want a corporate style hotel this is not it but if you want a hotel with personality that let's you experience Italian culture and life the Albergo Cesari fits... More

Perfect location, spacious rooms and a delightful roof terrace for breakfast and evening drinks. Friendly staff, working wi-fi and nice buffet breakfast. Just beware of the hungry seagulls diving for your food if you leave the table!

We have stayed at Albergo Cesari several times and we're always happy to come back. As everyone's review makes clear, the location is ideal -- easy walking distance to just about every one of Rome's best sights. I would not describe the hotel as luxurious; but it's clean and everything works and we have been quite comfortable. The roof terrace... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
