We did not stay in Albergo Cesari in our first time in Rome and we regretted it. But we did our second time. Excellent service, excellent breakfast and a magnificent location. Friendly and knowledgeable employees, especially Berardo at the desk. Even though the shower area of our second floor room needs updating, we will definitely come back to Albergo Cesari,... More

My family of six visited between March 7-14 and had a wonderful stay. We also booked months in advance and received a great rate for our triple and quad rooms on the first floor of the hotel. The staff is superb! We used its car service roundtrip to the airport for a modest price and the drivers were timely and... More

It was 3 years between visits, and it was wonderful to see the same friendly faces at reception, eager to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. The standard of customer care has remained exceedingly high as has the cleanliness of the room and hotel overall. Breakfast buffet offering is still of a high quality and plentiful. occasionally I had to... More

My 3 sisters and myself stayed at Albergo Cesari from 21-23 March. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. We had a large quadruple room with TV (BBC & CNN) and tea/coffee making facilities which was a bonus. The room was very clean and beds comfortable. The hotel is very central on a small street off Via Del Corso which... More

We used the hotel car service from FCO to hotel; 50E, driver was there waiting to greet us; about 1/2 hour to city. Check in was quick and welcoming, Tommaso suggested a walk to take and off we were. We stayed in... More

Spent a few nights here and was pleased particularly with the location. Everything is very convienent and closes. The rooms were small, but to Italian standard. The breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but again, your typical Italian spread. What made this small hotel stand out was the staff. The staff was stellar! Any request, or need was handled quickly and efficiently.... More

Tomaso at the front desk made our stay excellant. He went above and beyond his duty by being informative, helpful and friendly. I would return to this hotel just to see Tomaso again. He made us feel like family and is a true asset to this hotel. The room was nice for the price in European standards. Only complain was... More

It might not be the best value for money and most parts of the hotel could do with a bit of renovation and extra style (it's suprising to find that hotels in Rome and not particularly stylish), but location is great, service is very friendly and our stay was overall pleasant. Rooftop area for breakfast and drinks at night is... More

Albergo Cesari lived up to every detail their website listed. The check in by Bernardo was warm and efficient. He offered us a helpful map of the area, and plenty of tips what to see, where to eat, and how to get there. Our room was quaint, well equipped and clean. We loved opening our shuttered windows and listening to... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
