Booked this after reading reviews on TA. They organised a private driver from airport for us for $50 E. Just as you see in the movies we drove around very quickly thru little cobblestoned streets full of restaurants. Hotel typical Italy ,large rooms , spotlessly clean ,with shutters to look down on the activity below.Minutes from trevi fountain and pantheon.Walking... More

Clean rooms and amenities, friendly staff, great sized room though I have read some rooms are small. Rooftop is perfect for enjoying breakfast and evening drinks. Easy walk to all sights in the centre of old Rome. Street noises reduced with good windows. Will definitely stay here again.

there are certain limitations to the rooms and the noise prevention towards the lift and hall, but good to the outside, for me OK. Great reception, too, Barnardo was thoughtful and helpful, Thankyou. We had a final drink one night, and enjoyed the view and the clever design of the lift Exit, with a mosaic with clouds, pretty swanky.

Hotel has a superb location. You're in the center of the center. Everything is pretty much within a mile walking distance. The part that REALLY sets this hotel apart is the customer service though. There are 3 guys that I met at the front. All 3 are good, while 2 (smaller, younger guy + larger bald guy) are EXTREMELY GOOD.... More

My partner and I recently visited Rome on a short break before heading south. I was recommended the Albergo Cesari for location and walking convenience to landmark sites. In that regard it proved better than our expectations with many of the key attractions within 15 minute stroll. For a centre city hotel the room size was fine, clean and well... More

You can't argue with the central location of this wonderful 17th Century Hotel. The welcome and attention from the staff throughout our 4 night stay was second to none and they couldn't have been more helpful. The contintental breakfast provided was extensive and you could have something cooked for a nominal charge. The roof top terrace was the perfect place... More

Dear louise_coppin, Really so nice your review about our hotel: thanks a lot! You are right: no argue about our location. Our hotel is in a good area – historical centre of Rome – as it is just in the middle of Rome in a pedestrian little street that leads on the right to the Trevi fountain and to the... More

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Albergo Cesari. We were very peased with the experience. The reception staff is to be commended. Each of the ones that we dealt with over the 4 days was friendly, courteous, and very helpful when we did ask their assistance. The hotel is very centrally located and a good value for that area.... It is so pleasant to stay here. Never disappoints. The staff is so thoughtful and kind and always at your disposal with a friendly smile. Their memories of each guest is remarkable. The breakfast is the best in Rome. Thank you for everything.

Stayed here on our last night in Italy. The hotel is very centrally located. Not far from Pantheon to the left and Trevi Fountain (under renovation/ not operating) to the right. Old but comfortable rooms. Helpful desk staff. Good roof top bar. Really good breakfast on the roof top terrace. Fruit basket in room a nice touch but we didn't... More

Our family of 4 stayed here for two nights. The hotel is very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, considering it had 4 single beds. There was still plenty of room for our suitcases and walking around. The bathroom was large and the shower was decent. We didn't have much of a view... More
