Stayed for two nights in May. Great location -- and as a solo senior female traveler, I felt safe. Room 26 was small but quiet and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the pastries, and the rooftop terrace was lovely. Staff was professional but not really friendly. Limo service to the airport was prompt and a good value. Would definitely... More

Our recent stay in Albergo Cesari was excellent. The location is unbeatable. The Pantheon is a few minutes walk away as is the Trevi Fountain. We decided to stay in the Centro Storico after some research and think it is the best decision for anyone visiting Rome. This location means that you can walk to any of the historical sights.... This hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the Pantheon in one direction, and the Trevi Fountain in another direction. Be aware though, that with this location in the centre of the historical district comes nearby restaurants that cater to tourists (e.g. pizza topped with French fries), high prices, noisy rooms, and people everywhere. My husband... More

Tucked away in a quiet street between the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain this slightly dated, small 3 star hotel as some endearing qualities. Firstly, the location is outstanding and within easy walking distance of many of Rome's key attractions. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful and the roof terrace is a real hidden gem. It provides an... More

This is the second time we’ve been to Albergo Cesari. Rome hotels are expensive and this is no exception, but when you consider the location and the fact that you can walk to all attractions from the hotel, it is good value for money! We opted for breakfast included, as the food and coffee are good. It was a shame... More

I fell in love with our room the minute I saw it.The Front Desk was helpful, friendly, and always willing to help. A couple of blocks to the right and you are at the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. A couple of blocks to the left and you are at the Pantheon. Restaurants and shopping everywhere. The hotel had great... More

The location is definately the draw to this hotel. The room we had was less than average. Small, dark, outdated and bathroom was large but lacked that clean feel you should have. No view other than a building being refurbished across the alley. Because of the location I understood that it could be loud but when it is hot, regardless... More

This hotel was AMAZING! The entire staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive to our large group. We arrived at 9:30am and were quickly whisked away to our rooms, hours before we were to check in. We spent the next 2 days exploring Rome and often used the hotel as a meeting place to regroup because of it's great location,... More

This is a three star hotel with a friendly staff and a superb roof terrace where our breakfast was served. We could use the terrace all day if we wanted and in the evenings the bar opened and we often ended the day with a glass of wine or a drink. The room was big (compared to other rooms we... More

If you need a conveniently located hotel for a weekend break in Rome I can thoroughly recommend the Albergo Cesari. It's a comfortable, friendly 3* hotel ideally located for walks to the Vatican, and archeological areas. It's also very close to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. I'm sure a number of hotels can claim these features, so what's probably more... More
