We stayed in Albergo Cesari last weekend. The location was amazing, few minutes from Trevi and Pantheon, 10 minutes from P.Navona and Via dei Condotti. Just around the corner of Piazza della Pietra and Salotto42 for a night cap. Staff was really friendly, especially Tommaso, the receptionist. Dont expect 4 or 5 star hotel and related amenities but you will... More

Great small city hotel, staff friendly and helpful, especially Berardo. Lovely rooms well furnished, the rooftop terrace for breakfast and evening drinks is fantastic. A great spot for access to all major sights, it is a very busy area though. We had a front room which was quiet thanks to the double glazing.

I cannot stress enough how perfect this place is location-wise, being only a few minutes from the Pantheon, the Trevi fountain, the piazza Navona etc which are great spots for having dinner each evening. Other major sites such as the Altare della Patria, the roman forum and Coliseum were easily accessible on foot (even easier when using public transport, which... More

First, location. Brilliant - right in the heart of everything. Short walk toTrevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Venezia etc. a plethora of great restaurants on the doorstep. Wow,that ravioli pomodoro wile remembered for a long time! Second,Staff. Incredibly efficient, friendly and professional. Third, rooftop bar and breakfast restaurant. A great place for a nightcap under the stars. But why does it... More

We stayed here for the beginning of our honeymoon and it was the perfect location. You could walk to all the different locations around Rome. Our room was smaller than I preferred it, but it worked for us! The rooftop restaurant / Bar was awesome! When I got back to Rome, I will stay here again!

We loved this hotel; the staff were friendly and very helpful, the rooms were charming (a little old-fashioned but we liked it) and the location is perfect. We had a private patio outside the room on the first floor, the roof-top deck has beautiful views and the breakfast was very good. The beds were a little hard and the pillows... More

Great location--5 minutes from the Pantheon and 10 minutes from Piazza Navona. Front desk staff was always very friendly. Rooms were a decent size for Rome and the bathrooms were modern and well supplied. Breakfast on the terrace was the best thing about this hotel. It was spectacular to sit on the roof of our building and enjoy cappucino, croissants,... More

The location is perfect...close to great restaurants, shops and historical attractions you will want to visit. The staff was gracious and very helpful in recommending several terrific local restaurants for our dinners. Our rooms were clean and lovely facing the front of the hotel. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful on their rooftop terrace...a great way to start your day! We... More

Clean, spacious rooms. Good WIFI connections in your room. Attentive Staff. Very generous breakfast buffet on a beautiful rooftop setting. Loved it so much, we are encouraging our kids to stay next year.

Just got home from a fantastic week in Rome and stayed in this lovely hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help you! Lovely, spacious clean rooms. The roof terrace was beautiful, the perfect place for breakfast and a drink in the evening. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return!

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
