This hotel is the true epitomy of St Regis and luxury right in the heart of Rome. When we first arrived the porters were at our service immediately and escorted us to the front desk where they were very polite and professional. Being a gold SPG member I requested an upgrade to a deluxe room and they gave me an... More

We arrived in the late afternoon, our room was ready almost immediately, they upgraded our room without even having to ask. We found this hotel through AmEx travel, so we trusted that it would be top notch, and it was in every way! The room we got did only have the view of the courtyard, but when you are in... More

My partner and I stayed here last October for 4 nights. We found the hotel to indeed be "grand" as in the title, certainly the lobby and outward facade were impressive, but overall, found it quite stuffy and rooms small for the price. We were paying nearly full rack rates at the time... $550/night (CAD) and there was nothing about... More

This hotel was a complete failure. The rooms aren't large (although well appointed) and the closets ridiculously small. The service was indifferent. The concierge didn't get the tasks assigned to him right; the turn down service was incomplete (free bottled water on some nights and not others)and cleanliness spotty (old silverware was left in the room as was a champagne... Just back from Rome. My husband, son and I stayed at the St. Regis. The room was lovely and large - opening on an interior courtyard. However - looks were certainly deceiving as it proved to be quite uncomfortable - hot and stuffy. There was no air conditioning and no fan - so no air circulated through the room. When... More

The two rooms we had were elegantly appointed and the bathrooms were large and well lit. While the furniture was a little worn the carpeting had recently been replaced. One of the two rooms we rented had a musty smell that the staff tried to remove with deodorizers but it just masked the odors for a short while until the... More

The hotel was beautiful! A lot of A-lister running through the place too. We went all the way around the world to see the same people we see in CA. Great food, great drinks. The only questionable thing was the service. I thought they were good overall but I would say they could have been a little freindlier considering the... More

We only spent one night and it was our first visit to this hotel. We were excited to see how we would like it. The service was absolutely excellent. From the moment we arrived at the front door, through check-in and to our room, everyone was prompt, pleasant and courteous. Our room was large, well appointed with beautiful period furniture... This hotel was bearable. I booked with AMEX Platinum travel services. Room was upgraded but had to change rooms 3 times due to smell. Rooms were large but dusty and smelly. Food in the restaurant was a huge dissapointmnt. Staff and service was fine but nothing special. Rome is expensive but this was not up to par with other $500+... More
