This hotel was more than we could have expected and well worth the price. My husband and I spent the first leg of our honeymoon here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff were courteous and helpful. They even upgraded our room. The bed was SUPER comfortable - a sweet sleeper bed, no doubt. The room was very large... I just spent 5 days at the St. Regis and must say that it is one of the nicest hotels I ever visited. Monica, from the hotel, emailed me ahead of my visit and asked it there were any special circumstances. I explained that we would be arriving quite early but not to fuss as 10:00 am is well before... I stayed at St. Regis for two nights after my tour with Rick Steves.... This hotel was fancy, upscale, elegant, and expensive! The rooms were smaller than i expected and there were so much construction going on right in front of our hotel at Piazza Repubblica .... that was my view which I was bit bummed about. The staff were... More

We just got back from a ten day trip to Italy and it is hard to decide which of the three hotels we stayed at was the best. Each one had it's individual character and charm and all three made us feel like honored guests. The St Regis is the Grand Dame of hotels in Rome, plush, luxurious, beautifully decorated,... More

What a spectacular hotel. Beautiful public spaces make you truly loose all concept of time and just make you want to stay inside the hotel and forget about Rome. My room was small, but well furnished consistent with the rest of the hotel. There was however nothing really 'amazing' in the room, something you would expect at these prices. Bedding... More

I'm currently writing this review with my overpriced internet service at the hotel. My husband and I are here for a 7 night stay. We are celebrating our one yr anniversary. Anyway with a couple of connections we finally arrived late at night in Rome. The front desk staff were really friendly and we were in our room within minutes.... More

We felt like we were sleepng in a museum, but it turns out it's not so much fun after all. After a day it felt cold and unwelcoming. Service at the front desk was decidedly poor. Location is not great either, there isn't much to do right outside. We finally decided to check out earlier than planned and stayed at... More

The St. Regis Grand in Rome leaves a lot to be desired in the way of a “luxury hotel”. I checked into the hotel for the beginning of my Thanksgiving vacation in 2009 for a four night stay. My room had its fair share of problems…The room door would not close without being slammed which I found to be a... More
