Traveling in party of 5 is not always easy. We found Morgana one of the best hotel during our trip to italy. We booked family room from their webpage and had two separate large rooms door to door. We found the hotel clean and in good location. Plenty of restaurants close by. Book their breakfast as it kept us going... More

The rooms are better than the pictures. The rooms are small but clean. We had the basic room without the breakfast with a street view. Perfect location in Rome. 2 blocks from the train station. Very ideal if your going from city to city in Italy with luggage. Great restaurants in the area; walking distance to the double decker bus... More

We have found a very good deal for our trip to rome at the hotel morgana. We did book it on tripadvisor choosing the winter special promotion with a good discount and complimentary upgrade and internet free included. Our stay was fine and we will be back there when in rome.

Would certainly recommend this hotel, with very helpful and friendly staff. It is close to the train and bus station and lots of important sites, i.e. Colosseum, are within walking distance. The room was large and very comfortable.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
