Hotel Morgana is located one block from Termini station making it a great base for siteseeing and exploring. Buses go everywhere and you can walk to the Coliseum (for example) in about 15 minutes. The Termini area in general is very safe though keep a very watchful eye out for pickpockets when you are passing the station and riding the... more

Have just come back from a very quick stay in Rome. We stayed in Hotel Morgana overnight on 28 February, we had two single rooms. What a lovely hotel and they could not do enough for us! The rooms were really nice, small doubles and having arrived early, they allowed us to check in to one room so we could... more

My wife and I stayed in the Morgana Hotel for 3 nights in February while in the city to watch the Italy v Ireland Rugby match. Even before we arrived at the hotel the staff were helpful and sent directions to the hotel from Termini Station via email, although we misinterpreted their instruction slightly wrong and ended up doing a... more

Spent a January weekend break with a large group of friennds at the Morgana. We had a range of rooms, and we were all located helpfully on the same floor. Our room overlooked a small courtyard and it was nice to be able to open a window and listen to the sounds of Roman life. Although small, the room had... more

I just got back from a 17 day stay in Italy with my 3 children and mother. We stayed in Rome at the start of our trip then traveled south to Sicily and worked our way back up to Rome for our last night. The last place we stayed was Hotel Morgana for one night. What a welcome change it... more

Close to trains; nice bathroom (superior double; bath; shower head and nozzle; bidet; SHOWER CURTAIN!; wide pedestal sink). OK basic continental breakfast. But the MOST AMAZINGLY HORRID DECOR EVER!!! We changed our hotel for rest of stay. I have posted photo of FIVE fabrics in room that did not go together. There were three others in hallway and two others... more

Had a wonderful stay in Rome at this hotel. Staff very helpful. Breakfast room delightful and great breakfast. Found the breakfast staff to be run off their feet; however, a little patience and appreciation goes a long way. Room was clean and comfortable - we did not experience any of the problems that others had. Close to the metro and... more

We stayed at Hotel Morgana for 4 nights. We had booked a 'deluxe double room' through the hotel's website, and had a confirmed late check in. The room given to us was at best depressing - dingy, old and dirty carpets, shabby bedspreads and was so small (and no I am not complaining by American standards, I am aware of... more
