Beds are hard as a rock, staff was less than friendly, almost put out when you asked for assistance or a recommendation. Location is good... Walking distance to the train station but there are a dozen other hotels in the area I will stay at during my next trip.

Stayed at this hotel about 7 years ago on my last visit, then again this April 2012. I chose it primarily for the price and location to the Rome Termini. Hotel has definitely been updated. Traveling with 2 young kids, I must say, room was spacious, for the 4 of us. While it is very close to Roma's Termini station, which would take you to anywhere of the tourist sites in Rome, you see lots of characters passing by, which to some maybe uncomfortable but to a frequent traveler like us, it's ok. Very nice hotel and friendly staff, but hot and not able to get air turned on. The room was decorated very nicely and very clean.

We booked the hotel after reading trip advisor. It is only 150 meters from the main station - very convenient. We got upgraded to a "deluxe room". The rooms are indeed very small but well maintained. The lighting, decoration, bathrooms - everything ok. Breakfast for 8.50 euro was good too. Friendly front desk.

Overall nice service and pleasant stay. Location not superb because of strange people in the streets around station Termini. I'd still recommend it for business trips or short vacation though.
