We picked up this hotel randomly, based on trip advisor reviews and weren't surprised. We wanted a hotel close to the city at an average price and this was what we got. The room was small but clean and tidy, bathroom was very small, air con worked fine (it was hot and humid in Rome at that time). Very good... More

My wife and I stayed here for four days to celebrate our first anniversary. We enjoyed a friendly welcome with clear instructions. A nice clean, well maintained room. Friendly staff in the bar, restaurant and breakfast room. The selection at breakfast is big and everything we tried was nice and fresh, with the staff constantly bringing out more food and... More

Had a 3 night stay at the Napolean in early September this year and had a very enjoyable time there. It is very easy to find from the Termini station (about a 5 minute walk) and a very easy 10 minute stroll to the Colosseum. Unlike previous reports we did'nt find the area to be to run down and during... More

We were 3 families booked 3 rooms online with transport from airport, everything went well and as described. From other reviews I was afraid from the area as others said it was unsafe to walk late night, opposite to this I found the area very safe and I stayed 2 nights returning to hotel almost midnight and did not notice... Dear fnouman, Thank you for your kind review. We are glad that you have enjoyed your stay, particularly about the location. As I wrote in some other responses, Rome is a peaceful and safe town. The only crime you have to pay attention is the pickpocketing, especially in the busiest places, but that is also common in every big town... More

We could not fault this charming hotel so close to transport and the Colosseum. We were able to check in a few hours early after our cruise, the rooms were clean & comfortable, the reception staff were pleasant & helpful. The wine-tasting evening was delightful & unexpected. We even got to meet the owner who seemed genuinely interested in who... More

Stayed at the Napoleon Hotel 2 nights over the weekend of 29 Aug 2014-31 Aug 2014. My first time in Rome, so was quite daunting. Travelling on my own. Wasn't far from the Train Station, but too far when I'd already done a lot of walking and lugging heavy luggage, so get a cab, only €9. Hotel staff were welcoming... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family (1 double room and 1 twin). Rooms were reasonable although the pillows are awful and toiletries minimal. Breakfast has a good selection including lots of fresh fruit which is nice although the staff are a little slow at getting drinks. For evening meals don't bother with the restaurant, poor selection and poor... More

We arrived in Rome late afternoon. The staff were there to assist and they do speak English fluently. It is always nice to be greeted with a smile. The location is 10 mins aways to Colliseum by walking and pretty much 25min walk to go to Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. If you don't like walking, Subway/ Metro is right... More

You cannot beat the location. Step out, and the Subway entrance is a minutes walk. You are a 8 minute walk form Termini station and a 12 minute walk from the Colosseum. More than anything the location felt safe. The hotel room in itself was on the smaller side, but well appointed and clean. Very comfortable bed too. The split... More

I stayed here a couple of years ago whilst on a rugby tour of 40 blokes. The manager was very welcoming to us as he used to play rugby which made our stay even more special, as he took time off work to come and watch us play a local rugby team. Rugby stuff aside, the locality is excellent and... More
