We had stayed here 30 years ago and were happy to find not much had changed. Room was very comfortable with a sitting area off the bedroom. Décor was a little old. Realize if you have accessibility issues you'll need to go up 2 or 3 stairs to get to the first elevator for the bar/lounge and 3 more steps... More

What a lovely hotel! We loved the square this was situated in with the park across the road. We were made very welcome, the staff were always polite but didn't fuss over you too much. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of choice and plenty of it, the staff here work extremely hard to keep it well stocked. We liked... More

I loved my stay here because it was affordable and it wa s a prime location. It was less than 10 minutes walk to the Coliseum and the area felt safe. However, I was a solo traveller and because it was specified in my reservation, I was given the tiny room (I believe it was 301) and while most hotel... More

Dear Tammy A thanks for the nice review. I am glad you have a good memory of the Hotel Napoleon, despite the size of the single room in which you stayed. For accuracy, I must say that the number of the room is not 301, the 301 is in fact a triple room, quite large. It is'true that our single... More

Our experience in Rome staying at the Napoleon Hotel was great. Perfect location for getting around. Metro was right in front. The staff was so courteous and helpful in every way for the duration of our stay. The breakfast was abundant and tasty. We even had a chance to converse with Roberto, the owner, who also made us feel right... More

Rome was the last stop on our trip across Italy. Hotel Napoleon was rated well by others hence our stay. The rest of our trip we had stayed at Starwood properties however the Excelsior was rated poorly for Rome so we looked at other options. The staff was excellent here, going out of our way to ensure we had a... More

A rarity - a hotel where all the staff (but especially the concierge Roberto) are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make their guests happy. The location is great, walking distance to almost all the places you would want to visit in Rome, and those that are not (for example the Vatican), can be reached easily by... More

Our experience at the Napoleon Hotel was very good. The metro is at the door step and the main train station is one metro stop away. The hotel owner and his staff were very courteous and professional. The owner, Mr. Cioce offered to sit and chat with us and offered us a glass of wine and all the tips for... More

Easy to find once you get there. Make sure you know exactly which side of the square it is on. From the train station, almost too far to walk with a backpack, almost too close to take the subway. Had I not been traveling 36 hours on four flights, including missed connections, I might have enjoyed the stroll. The best... More

We stayed there for three nights a well run family hotel .Monday night cocktails with the manager very friendly as were all of his staff .No view from the windows but quite wee situated. 10 minutes to the Coliseum.Good value for money especially when compared to the other hotels in Rome. I would stay there again .
