Dinner at the 6th floor rooftop terrace restaurant at Hotel Raphael provides stunning views over central Rome, especially if you are lucky to occupy table no. 9. Excellent vegetarian and biodynamic menu. The staff provided friendly and impeccable service.

Rome is my favorite city in Europe. I've been there many times and stayed at many of the better hotels. My favorite is The Raphael. It's just off the Piazza Navona in my favorite Roman neighborhood. You approach the ivy covered facade in the quietest little spot, and you feel like you've arrived at someone's home. The interiors are all... More

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Raphael to begin our month long European honeymoon. The location is excellent and we walked to all of the major attractions around Rome ourselves. We did have a few issues with one staff member in particular who was a bit careless with one request we had and that was to have a king... More

Great location, directly next to Piazza Navona. Very welcoming and friendly staff, who gave very helpful recommendations for exploring the city. Diverse breakfast options. Had no major issues with the Wifi or air-conditioning.

Situated only about 100' from Piazza Navona gives easy access to the most fun & active Piazza of Rome. Greenery covered exterior is a wonder. Classic lobby / reception area decorated w Picasso pieces & antiques. Rooms are ultramodern w almost Scandinavian interiors. Sharp looking, clean & nice. Bathroom w bidet & shower in tub. Marble countertop. Stairs to separate... More

From the moment we arrived, the hotel exceeded every expectation. The rooms were exceptional with an elegant European flair. The restaurant was amazing. Vegetarian / Vegan (helped us choose this hotel) with a view of so much of Rome from the rooftop. From our dinner table, we had clear outdoor views of Vatican City and 360 degrees of Rome. More... Luxurious hotel conveniently located 3 minutes away from Piazza Navona. Excellent service standards and a lovely team of staff who were very responsive to requests. Very good vegetarian restaurant located on the roof - even my meat-loving husband raved about the vegetarian carbonara pasta (which is saying a lot!)

Next to the Piazza Navona, but on a quiet side street, the hotel is perfectly located to experience Rome. The staff are all very professional and courteous. They were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and tour and performance tickets. We had a bad experience with a taxi driver and the door man was right there to help us and the... More

Such a lovely hotel. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We had a very large room on the 1st floor was many windows. It is very close to many great restaurants and attractions. Great breakfast and we enjoyed the rooftop bar and restaurant as well.
