We wanted a hotel where we could walk everywhere and this was it. The Vatican was a 20 minute walk and the Colosseum was a 30 minute walk. We were able to see so much on the way to our separate destinations which we would have missed had we taken the Metro, buses or taxis. The hotel staff were welcoming,... More

I took my wife to Rome for her birthday and we stayed three nights at Hotel Raphael. This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Rome. Very comfortable room, spotless bathroom, very helpful, friendly staff. If you do stay here, I can thoroughly recommend drinks on the rooftop terrace with fabulous views of the Roman rooftops and basilicas. We... More

The Richard Meyer suites with terrace can't be beat! The staff is excellent. Accomodations just perfect! Memory foam mattress, excellent air conditioning. Food at their restaurant is vegetarian and they are progressive in offering organic selections.

We arrived @ this hotel for a one night stay during our honeymoon your of Italy. We have stayed in many Relais Chateaux hotels so were excited to stay here. We were disappointed. If Relais Chateaux could degrade there hotels they should as this was embarrassing. The receptionist was friendly & very informative. He was an asset to the hotel... More

Loved this hotel! Very nice room, air conditioner worked well unlike many other hotels in Rome. Arrived in the room to find a personalized welcome letter and some light snacks and complimentary water. A breakfast was included in my stay and was incredible, large selection of healthy breakfast items. Great location, very safe area near the Pantheon and Piazza Navona,... More

Went to Italy last year on a 10 day trip. For the first part of our stay (before Florence), we stayed at this hotel per the advice of a close family friend. I got one of the newer rennovated rooms, and while the room was nice and rennovated, little things bothered me. For one, when we arrived one of the... More

Last night I went with two girlfriends to enjoy an aperitif on the terrace of the beautiful Raphael Hotel. They sadly served us our drinks with 3 nuts and 4 tasteless pistachios. When we ordered the second round of cocktails we pleAsed asked for little bites...and they gave us micro bread tartes with no taste nor love... Nowadays such a... More

Hotel Raphael is a high style hotel only 50 meters from Piazza Navona in Rome. It is populated with guests from all over the world that come here to get high service and compared to Copenhagen the price is not unreasonable high. A room is around 200€ a day depending on size and including breakfast served in a nice restaurant... More

Best location by Piazza Navona, great rooms, super service and rooms. We had 7 people in 3 rooms - kids included and the hotel was just superb as always. The Hungarian desk clerk is also great and deserves a real shout out!

The Hotel Raphael's level of service was superb: reception and check in were pleasant, the rooms were very clean, and the wait-staff on the rooftop and in the breakfast room were prompt and polished. On arrival, my boyfriend and I were given an upgrade to a suite. The hotel rooms themselves are much smaller and compact than I anticipated. The... More
