The hotel is in a central location. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was friendly. We would recommend this hotel. We paid for breakfast and that wasn't worth it. The breakfast was vegetarian so we would skip on that if we stayed here again.

In a quiet alley steps from bustling Piazza Navona this beautifully renovated hotel was our home for 6 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but very well appointed and the bathroom had a rain shower and towel warmer. Delicious breakfast is included: freshly cooked eggs, breads, fresh fruit, capuchino and more. Most enjoyable was... More

I was in Rome on a business trip and stayed at the Hotel for 3 nights. Check in was good and the room was upgraded, as most visitors to Rome know Hotel rooms can be small and the upgraded room was of a reasonable size, so standard rooms may be smaller than you are used to. The matrasses are a... More

We have been a fan of the Hotel Raphael for many years, but after a stay this holiday, this might be our last stay there. The location is still excellent, the front desk staff still warm and helpful, but the hotel is starting to get a little ragged around the edges, and is no longer really upholding a true Relais... Hotel Raphael is a very good choice. The location is amazing for walking around of the city, surrounded by shops and restaurants. Their breakfast is excellent, with a variety of options (and I am gluten-free). We slept well and ate well during our stay. There is an annoying system for getting an umbrella at the hotel. We were there in... More

We've been there last weekend for the 3rd time in the Raphel - and before about 15 times in other hotels in Rome. Not only the location is excellent, the staff was helpful, friendly and numerous enough even when the concierge desk was crowded by clients. Choose a room of the better categories - the upgrade is really worth the... More

My husband and i saw this hotel on our last trip to Rome several years ago and decided to give it a try after our last stay at the de Russie (which we love but has gotten crazy expensive). The Raphael is lovely. We stayed in one of the modern Richard Meier rooms, which was very nice. Big room and... More

This was our second stop on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved this hotel. From the moment we checked in, we felt very well taken care of. We were offered a glass of prosecco and snacks while we checked in, and the front desk staff (Rita) did a fabulous job recommending restaurants, museums, and other attractions before taking us to... What a wonderful Hotel! Great location and lovely history filled décor. Very friendly reception and we were upgraded to the terrace suite which was simply beautiful. Wish we had more time to stay for more days. Very highly recommend it. Great Terrace restaurant with good food. It has a view of the Vatican which is rather cool. We would definitely... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
