We enjoyed this hotel, had a standard double, a comfortable room on the front corner of the hotel with small balcony. Some traffic noise even with the extra shutters, but too tired at night to care!!! About 15 minutes to Colosseum and about 20-25 to Vatican City. Good places to eat near Pantheon, and some good pizza slice places around... More

Others have said it all before. The rooms at the back are slightly quieter however one of the charms of the hotel was standing at the window watching the locals in the streets below. It is value for money.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Regno, had awesome time. The location is fantastic, 5 minutes to the Pantheon or Trevi Fountain great restaurants and bars just minutes walk away. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable and well soundproofed from the 24 hour Rome traffic noise. Breakfast was very good but chaotic due to... More

We are just back after a long (rugby) weekend. The location of this hotel is superb. We were able to walk everywhere. One minute to the Trevi Fountain - a great bonus when your wife has no sense if direction and keeps getting lost! The staff were very friendly and helpful. They spoke excellent English. Breakfast was good and served... More

This hotel is a good value option in Rome, its not luxorious but in a very good location. Ideal for a long weekend stay to visit Rome's main attractions. The minus is the staff, who while attentive, they are not very knowledgeable about Rome (ie they said the Colisseum last entry was at 6pm, which is wrong, and they said... More

We stayed here on the first leg of our honeyemoon. It was a great little spot with a wonderful breakfast and easy access to all of the sights. The best pizza of our trip was at a little cafe two doors away.

I went to Rome for the week - end and I travelled alone . I was a bit apprehensive but I soon got over that because all the attractions were a stones throw from the hotel . Because Rome never sleeps ,I would come back to the hotel, have a rest ,then in the evening walk around the area of... More

The location is really unbeatable - in a few minutes you can be at Trevi, The Pantheon, or to the Campidoglio. And if shopping is your thing, head North up The Via Del Corso for the cities most fashionable shopping district. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, from the front desk to the chambermaids - really a huge asset... More

Read some reviews before we went and some complained of decor and service, but we found the place fantastic. It is right in the middle of the old part of Rome surrounded by ancient buildings, the major sites and the labarinth of lanes that are Rome. On one of the major shopping streets, there is a bar 2 doors away... More

Stayed five nights at Hotel Regno, Room was clean and tidy. We had a small balcony which was great to get fresh air into the room. Rooms are small, like everywhere in Rome, It was perfect for us.So close to all attractions, the trevi fountain only 200 metres away pantheon just behind hotel a 300 metres away. Roman forum, Collesum,... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
