First I must say that for Rome, this is a hotel with big rooms, big bathroom, great decor and style! Very clean place and the food is great, you have a various menu so you have multiple choices. After a 15 min walk you will be in the center. The Spanish steps are near and also a beautifull park where you... More

We stayed here for a week, very good hotel, excellent location, rooms are very silent. The service and variety of food can improve. Pros: Location, Ambience, Comfort Cons: The breakfast spread isn't eloborate, multi - cuisine options aren't there. Caution: Most hotels doesn't allow Iron in room, prepare accordingly

Classic hotel. Look like you are in a different era. Marbles and beautiful antiques. Great services and concierge desk. Great location on Via Veneto, very close to Piazza Barberini (Subway), and the American Embassy.

The Hotel location is very nice and quite, the service was very good, the only issue I do believe they need to update their furniture as it is kind of dated. me and my wife stayed for 2 nights, and if I'm in Rome again, I think I would still stay in the same hotel.

I'm a Ritz Carlton fan, but I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Yes it could use some updating, but the overall experience far outweighed the need for a freshen up. Yes, it could use updating, but I actually like the feel of staying in an old hotel with impeccable service. I felt appreciated from the moment we arrived.... More

Traditional style and elegance with all the expected finishes. Check in was good, service smooth and efficient. Rooms are a good size. we had an inside room that was quiet and great fro sleep. Westin with it's heavenly beds made for great nights sleep in comfort. Not as central as we thought but still quite easy to get around and... More

The exterior and common areas of the hotel are beautiful, but the rooms need to be renovated. The air conditioning was an issue throughout our stay. The lowest possible A/C setting was roughly 75 degrees, so the room was fairly warm. Also, they need to re-think their wi-fi policy. No need to charge for wi-fi at an alleged 5 star... More

This was my second stay at this hotel. The location is great. The rooms are big and the bathroom is fine. We were on the 6th floor and had a balcony. The elevator is slow and tiny and needs to be renovated. There is a nice fitness club in the hotel. The hot tub next to the pool is not... More

Dear Tripadvisor Thank you for returning to the hotel and for staying 6 nights. Regarding the hot tub next to the pool I would like to clarify that as the tub is connected with the same water as the pool water by Italian law we may not heat the water above 29 degrees (84.2 Fahrenheit) and I agree that for... Still a nice hotel with excellent large rooms, just getting a bit older. The breakfast is fantastic as with all Westin properties in Europe. The location is great, very centrally located. It is a pricey hotel.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
