Overall not a bad place. They advertise 24 hr shuttle service but it's very spotty and infrequent. We missed the shuttle from the airport so had to wait another 2 hours. The earliest shuttle to the airport from the hotel is at 7am and the driver will only drop everyone off at Terminal 3 which almost caused us to miss... more

I spent a week on business in this dreadful hotel and my wife joined me for the weekend. I had to ask front desk to get me a clean room that did not have live crickets singing and dancing around the room to ensure that the weekend was peaceful. We normally enjoy staying in Holiday Inn Hotels and this hotel... more

On a very hot (did I say it was really hot?) July day in 2009, we arrived in Rome, Italy to begin a trip of a lifetime. Our family would first be in Rome and Florence x 4 days, then onto the Holland American Roman Empire Mediterrean Cruise to meet 32 of our family closest friends from church (8 other... more

Darling wife and I needed to find a hotel for one evening prior to going on an extended cruise from Civitavecchia. Back in April when we booked this hotel there were a series of great reviews for this property and we take these reviews seriously when making travel decisions. Then, around August and September a number of negative reviews came... more

We flew into Rome from Toronto and stayed here our first night. We were tired and used this hotel as our first night near the airport to rest and get ready for the Rome tours the next day. Its too far from Rome for using as a base. its in a business area. A free shuttle goes from the airport... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for just a couple of days, after a week in sorrento it was a stop off before catching a flight back to the UK. We caught the hotel bus into the centre of Rome, did a bit of sight seeing and shopping. The hotel staff were super, really friendly. The hotel itself had a... more

Stayed here with my husband and two children ages 9 and 11 one night on arrival and returned on our last night in Rome. Hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable, mini fridge in the room and bathroom was large and clean. Only thing is the carpet in the room as you enter needs cleaning due to high traffic otherwise no... more

The rooms and amenities were to American Holiday Inn standards. They were taking out the refrigerators and putting in some other sort of TV in all of the rooms. Very noisy and distracting. AC did not work right in our room, even after they "fixed" it. They close the pool WAY too early in the evenings, so you can't go... more

We have stayed at this hotel on our first night in Italy on several occasions. We just returned from our latest trip. The hotel needs to be updated. Worn out mattresses, worn out bedding, soiled worn carpets. The only thing it has going for it is the shuttle to and from the airport and into the center of Rome. There... more

We stayed here for one night, as we were coming back to Rome from Verona and not flying out until the next morning. This hotel is marked as a "preferred hotel" on the Rome Airport Website. They have a shuttle to the airport, but it is first-come, first-serve. While they did in fact get us to the airport on time,... more

Dear Guest, Thanks very much for your review, your opinion will help us to improve. We believe that it is necessary to have the shuttle bus service on a scheduled times basis in order to let our customers know at what time the shuttle will reach / leave the airport. If you are late you can either take the next...
