This is a great place to stay when in Rome. It is very convenient to get to the Vatican and there is a lot of nice places to eat close by. The wireless internet is free (get the password from the front desk), but we could not get the signal in our room and had to to just outside the... More

A sweet little hotel in the middle of everything! The rooms are small, are as the beds, but everything was clean and the staff always available. The daily morning breakfast was an Italian feast and will keep you going until dinner! Be sure to take time on the rooftop terrace-a quiet getaway.

The location: close to the Vatican, close to very nice and good restaurants and other cool sites. An about 30 minutes walk to the other sites (the Colosseum, the Spanish steps). The view: there is no nice view from the first floor but you can have nice view from the roof on the 5th floor. The service: nice stuff, very... More

2 couples for 2 nights......rooms were nice......showerhead in one bathroom was broken and took 2 days to fix....in the second bedroom the hot water wasn't working, but our friends did not tell us this until the morning of departure...after we paid our bills I passed along details of the water issue. As the hotel had not been notified of this... More

We stayed at this hotel for a few days and where offered a pleasant room on the 5th floor. We had a private balcony with a small table and chairs and the room was very bright. The room and bathroom where an excellent size. The only downside was the room trembling whenever a large bus passed the road beneath and... More

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days. If you arrive at the airport the hotel offers free shuttle. The location is perfect for bus termini and The Vatican. The staff was friendly and very helpful with instructions about getting around Rome. Th rooms are clean and bathroom perfect size. To get int the tub, you do have to step... More

We stayed here for five nights on an economy booking on the internet. The first room we were offered was really dingy and depressing. The second was slightly better but still small and dark. We had to upgrade to a third option but it was worth it, as it was a reasonable size with a nice bathroom. The staff were... More

We stayed here for a week and in general is not a bad place to stay. It is at about 10 min walking distance from the Vatican, Castel St Angelo and St Peter's square. There is a high street only 2 min walk away where you have banks, retail shops, cafes, restaurants, Gelataria and supermarkets. Even the Pantheon is about... More

This hotel gets a 4 out of 5 because of it's location. It's extremely close to the Vatican (4 minute walk) and also near lots of restaurants. Also very close to Castel Sant'Angelo (10 minute walk). The room was a bit outdated but was clean and comfortable. New towels were delivered daily, even with the do not disturb sign on... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
