The hotel met all our expectations and the staff catered to our various needs. Breakfast is from 7am, but they will provide a breakfast box for those leaving very early. They can book at the Atlante Star restaurant, but I recommend booking early because it is very popular.

Great location, roof terrace garden. Nice European breakfast. Walking distance to Vatican and St. Peter. Friendly, non-obtrusive staff. Great value. Airport shuttle. The hotel is very close to almost any major point of interest. And - you can't beat the price!

We couldn't fault the friendly service we received throughout our stay. Our room was very comfortable and had plenty of retro character. It's central location to all the main sites was very handy, particularly the Vatican City which was a 5 minute walk. I'd definitely return

Great Hotel! LOCATION - Amazing location, literally 2 minutes walk to the Vatican and about 5minutes walk from Ottoviano metro station. Also just over the road from 'Sorpasso' which is a great little place to have a drink. ROOM - it was a little dark but very nice, very clean, unfortunately the tap to fill up the jacuzzi bath was... The advantage of this hotel is its location. Its about 5-10 minutes to the Vatican and the castle St Angelo, and close to everywhere else in Rome with good walking. The hotel is billed as a 5 star but actually, not sure what the star rating refers to as it said 4 stars somewhere in the hotel. I think because... More

Has anyone else that has stayed here found the bathrooms with oddly place steps to be hazardous? I had a room on the second floor and tripped almost everything I used the bathroom. Love the hotel, great location, wonderful staff, but the bathrooms are horrible. Who puts a step in the middle of a bathroom?

On arrival the reception staff were very friendly and this continued throughout our stay by all the staff in the hotel. The location is wonderful, a 5 minute walk to Vatican city and only about 30 minutes right into the centre of Rome. We caught the sight seeing bus conveniently situated just down from Vatican city. The breakfast was always... More

This was my first visit to Rome with my family and we really enjoyed it. We found the stay at the Atlante Garden Hotel very near to the Heart of Rome with the Vatican very close to us. The service at the room was excellent and all it needed was a shower curtain by the bath tub as the water... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
