I think we really hit the jackpot on the unlucky card for this one. Despite the fair reviews, the glaring take-away from this experience: BUG BITES. I seriously think the beds were infested with mites and bugs. The blankets were old and rough (hardly luxury). After spending the first of 4 nights, we woke up to bug bites! By the... More

Clean, comfortable and right at the Vatican. Also convenient to the Metro and a bit longer of a skip across Ponte Sant'Angelo to city center. Loved the neighborhood feel as well. Great dining options right by the hotel.

My daughter and I went to Rome early in June.We stayed here as it is very close to Vatican City. Its a homely place and has a very homely smell a bit like going home to visit Grandma.Rooms are cosy and the aircon kept us nice and cool. There are window shutters that keep the room quiet and dark so it's very... Location really is the best. Lovely basement entrance. Room spacious enough, mini refrigerator with drinks (check the price list before indulging) always a plus. Mini mart with the best price for water, snacks. Breakfast was included - eggs done various ways, cheeses, breads, croissants sweet and savoury, fresh fruits, cakes, donuts and other stuff. Try the chocolate chip cake -... More

This was a hotel where you can walk to almost everything. Staff was helpful and rooftop area was enchanting. Also they will pick you up at the airport complimentary. This is a great bonus. We would stay here again.

We stayed just the one night at Hotel Atlante Garden during our stay in Rome due to a mix up with our B&B. On the one hand we were very grateful to the hotel for still having rooms left at such short notice an happy to have somewhere to rest our heads for the night. Having said this the rooms... More

A nice hotel. Room was basic but functional and clean. Bathroom again basic but everything we needed. Best feature is the excellent location, a short walk to Vatican City and tube stations etc.. Fantastic breakfast which was a great start to a long day of sight seeing! All in all a good base.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
