We stayed at this hotel for a few days and where offered a pleasant room on the 5th floor. We had a private balcony with a small table and chairs and the room was very bright. The room and bathroom where an excellent size. The only downside was the room trembling whenever a large bus passed the road beneath and... More

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days. If you arrive at the airport the hotel offers free shuttle. The location is perfect for bus termini and The Vatican. The staff was friendly and very helpful with instructions about getting around Rome. Th rooms are clean and bathroom perfect size. To get int the tub, you do have to step... More

We stayed here for five nights on an economy booking on the internet. The first room we were offered was really dingy and depressing. The second was slightly better but still small and dark. We had to upgrade to a third option but it was worth it, as it was a reasonable size with a nice bathroom. The staff were... More

We stayed here for a week and in general is not a bad place to stay. It is at about 10 min walking distance from the Vatican, Castel St Angelo and St Peter's square. There is a high street only 2 min walk away where you have banks, retail shops, cafes, restaurants, Gelataria and supermarkets. Even the Pantheon is about... More

This hotel gets a 4 out of 5 because of it's location. It's extremely close to the Vatican (4 minute walk) and also near lots of restaurants. Also very close to Castel Sant'Angelo (10 minute walk). The room was a bit outdated but was clean and comfortable. New towels were delivered daily, even with the do not disturb sign on... More

We chose this hotel because of the location which was great. We used the pick-up service from the airport and because other flights were delayed, we ended up being at the airport for nearly 2 1/2 hours after our flight landed. This was not the hotel's fault, but did mean we didn't arrive at the hotel til 1030 pm. Overall... More

My wife and I spent 5 days in Rome in November, 2014. The Atlante Star combined a great location near St. Peter's Square, warm and friendly service at the front desk and at breakfast, a wonderful breakfast, and great view of the Vatican. Most breakfasts in Italy consist of bread and coffee. This breakfast had cereal, eggs, cheese, fruit, and... More

Not the best customer service. Food was okay and the rooms were conformable.....besides that the location was great! Easy access to the Vatican and other famous places. Good grocery store down the street......overall I can stay with them again and yes I can recommended.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
