This hotel gets a 4 out of 5 because of it's location. It's extremely close to the Vatican (4 minute walk) and also near lots of restaurants. Also very close to Castel Sant'Angelo (10 minute walk). The room was a bit outdated but was clean and comfortable. New towels were delivered daily, even with the do not disturb sign on... More

We chose this hotel because of the location which was great. We used the pick-up service from the airport and because other flights were delayed, we ended up being at the airport for nearly 2 1/2 hours after our flight landed. This was not the hotel's fault, but did mean we didn't arrive at the hotel til 1030 pm. Overall... More

My wife and I spent 5 days in Rome in November, 2014. The Atlante Star combined a great location near St. Peter's Square, warm and friendly service at the front desk and at breakfast, a wonderful breakfast, and great view of the Vatican. Most breakfasts in Italy consist of bread and coffee. This breakfast had cereal, eggs, cheese, fruit, and... More

Not the best customer service. Food was okay and the rooms were conformable.....besides that the location was great! Easy access to the Vatican and other famous places. Good grocery store down the street......overall I can stay with them again and yes I can recommended.

Walking distance to the Vatican and I use a cane. Staff excellent, helpful, friendly, always had time for us, even if it meant stopping what they were doing. Breakfast was good, had a great variety. Rooms are clean and an okay size for a couple of days. Free airport pick up is a plus.

Stayed in this hotel in November 2014 with my wife and her friend. We had a free pickup at the airport which was hassle free. The room was huge and 3 of us could stay there without feeling like we were living on to of each other The beds were comfortable and the room very clean Breakfast was a buffet... More

This is one of our favorite places to stay while in Rome it's not a very large place but that's the charm. The staff are multi lingual, friendly and always ready to serve. Can't beat having a pick up service from airport and a fantastic breakfast all free. The hotel is only a few minutes from the Vatican and shopping.... More

Very central and close to Vatikan. Absolutely no complaints about the staff, very friendly and helpful people. Metro Ottaviano is nearby. Downside: Very busy street. Noisy at night. Need earplugs. Single room I got must have been the worst of whole Hotel, close to street and quite small. Hotel is good, even though i am not totally sure about the... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
