I recently stayed for 4 days at the NH Midas Rome that I booked as part of a lastminute.com ‘mystery hotel’ package. When the hotel was revealed to me after booking, I was a bit concerned about the bad reviews online but was happy that the description of the hotel said that it was a ‘short distance’ to the local... My wife and I stayed here in June 2007 the staff were fantastic and were very helpful in locating a doctor when my wife fell ill from a reaction to the local red wine. the meals and rooms were excellent and pool was great in the hot weather, would stay there again in a flash

Surprisingly low standard for NH. Not really clean, maintenance is desperately needed. Taking a shower was a challenge - the shower bath was too shallow and the water did not flow away, in addition, the bath doors finished some 3 cm ABOVE the bath, so after 1 minute in the shower water was all over the bath.

OK Average hotel, not at all attractive. We were on packaged tour so can't judge value for money. Not at all recommended for family stay. The staff was behawing strangely , off course we were Indians, this was the second place in Europe where I found distinct taste of colourism. God belss the people of THAT strange place!!

My wife and I stayed at the NH Midas Rome at the end of our trip. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were a decent size (especially compared to other hotels we stayed at in the area). The hotel is situated in a great location.. close to a lot of attractions. I... More

I spent 4 days with my family at Midas Hotel. I did find the hotel on trip advisor and I must say it was a great choice. Rooms are in a design style, lounge and common spaces are new and fresh, meals gorgeous and the hotel is very close to the city center which you can reach by bus shuttle.... More

This hotel is fairly modernistic and lies more on the outskirts of ROME and does not make the many sites of the city very accessible without incurring some costs to do so. It is fairly close to the airport (FCO) and if one is just staying a night before leaving, then this is an ideal way to do it. Otherwise... More

We had a lovely stay at this Jolly NH hotel. After our long flight we had a very pleasant check in - one of our rooms was all ready so we could drop our bags. We had lunch in the hotel restaurant where we had the nicest service from Lodovico. He was gracious, accommodating and very helpful. He set the... More
