Great location, easy walking distance distance to Vatican City, 20 mins plus walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain. Breakfast could be better, alot of nearby family run restaurants to choose from, we stayed 3 nights and found the City amazing for a first time couple to visit. East outsude the Vatican City and prices drop.

Location of this hotel is fantastic, 5 minutes walking distance from the Vatican and St Peters Basilica. To get into Rome and the colosseum etc it is only a short walk to the train station, from hotel to colosseum in under half hour. First impression of the hotel was great, reception area and lobby was nice. Out of the 3... More

Hotel was clean and well located for easy walking around the city. The rooms were modern and AC was GREAT! (Wish I could say that for the other hotels we stayed in in Italy. Breakfast was very basic. Many good restaurants nearby and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Few weeks back we stayed 4 nights at this hotel. I usually do not lose time in writing negative review however i feel that here it is required. Upon arrival the checkin took much time. While entering the room we found it warm and asked the bell boy to adjust the A/C. He did not manage it the reason being... More

This hotel is very conveniently located for walking around Rome to enjoy its diverse offerings. It is located a block from the great shopping area that also includes many cafes and eateries. The front desk staff are courteous and helpful to guide the Rome novice.

The hotel had clean rooms and a nice comfortable bed. The walking route to the hotel was a bit shady and there were stretches that were isolated and populated with shady characters, but there is another way via a shopping area. The staff was extremely helpful. The morning breakfast was adequate, nothing great. I would skip breakfast it it cost... More

The hotel is clean, our room was a bit small with 2 single beds, a new aircon unit had been installed, which we were really glad of. Same comment as below TV small with only 1 English channel which was all sport. However we didn't go to Rome to watch TV, so it wasn't an issue. The bathroom wasn't very... More

I visited Rome for the first time and I booked the Grand Olympic Hotel via Expedia. The hotel is stated as 4* but based on the services and amenities I would say it's more of a 3* hotel. The TV I had in my room was small and all the channels were grainy. The bathroom was pretty decent but the... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location. You can walk to St Peters just over five minutes, as well as the Vatican museums. It is also near Ottaviano metro stop, and plenty of buses leave from the nearby piazza risorgimento. The rooms are carpeted and while I wouldn't say they are spotlessly clean, the things that mattered: the... More
