I booked and prepaid my 5-night stay, via a popular website, for June 2015. The location is fine and so close to the Vatican and its museums. My check-in was quick and easy; that is, until I realized that I'd have to get to my 5th-floor room by going up the stairs. The one-and-only elevator was out-of-order, since early that... More

A hotel in the midst of Vatican city. Very close to St Peters Basilica, Sistenne Chappel, vatican museum and garden. There are many restaurants near this hotel. Location wise its very good. The reception staffs are helpful. Very average breakfast. Wifi connection is average. Ac was very noisy. Housekeeping was good. Enjoyed our stay as we were outside the hotel... More

A few minutes to Vatican city and other transport facilities.Nice service in reception and house keeping. New tawels every day and new bed sheets twice during the stay. Not good Wi-Fi. Ok breakfast, but not very good service. Cold attitude of butlers. AC was nice when it's 38 C outside. We got a room in 1.floor with big window and... More

This hotel is in a good location. Hotel is next to a busy shopping street and in a few minutes you will walk to the vatican or the metro. Staff was also very friendly and answered all our questions. Facilities are clean and our room was spacious. Breakfast was regular for what we have had in other hotels in Italy.... More

I stayed at this hotel with a tour group. None of us were really impressed or disgusted. The rooms were decent but bathrooms were gross. Wifi was good but breakfast was nothing great. The hotel was located by lots of restaurants, an ATM, bars, and shops. It's also not a bad walk from the Spanish Steps and city center. We... More

So my family and I go to the hotel and we had room for 4. The lady at the front desk said that she was going to give us two rooms for 2 because the air conditioning was not working in some rooms for the same price. One room has air conditioning and the other did not. I went down... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
