We stayed here in Dec 2015 , the hotel is a very tired 1/2 star hotel, the reception staff are nice , we are a family of four , we was taken to our room by a bell boy we took the lift up 3 floors then had to walk up stairs to our room , our room was on... More

Very close to transportation facilities such as metro station and major bus stops. In addition, surrounded by both upscale and bargain shopping areas. The Vatican is at walking distance while the other major attractions can easily be reached via transportation facilities. The Hotel look and decor is on the low side but provides all the basics including a ok breakfast.... More

Hotel is adequate but would not consider it a 4 star hotel. Did not have adequate staff when bus arrived to safely get luggage from bus into hotel. One member of party lost their luggage and hotel was not cooperative in trying to find the luggage. Evidently luggage was stolen as it was never found. Hotel needs to be updated... More

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Olympic while in Rome for a day, prior to going on a cruise. Staff was helpful to show us bus routes to the the Coliseum, Beds and pillow were a little still, but room was clean, and ready when we needed it. Breakfast spread was not too impressive, but in consideration of the price... More

Ridiculously close to everything, perfect choice however there are places to improve. Want to seem so luxurious however sometimes it feels cheap. Its an okay choice if you just need a place to sleep and have a decent breakfast before your sightseeing.

Hotel is in a great location and rooms are ok. Not bad but not what you'd expect from a 4 Star hotel. To be honest it's more like a 2.5 Star but since the city issues city taxes based on stars I can see where they may have been a little loose with the definition of 4 Stars. Service staff... More

We had a group in this hotel in the middle of September. I am the tour leader and I was so embarrassed for bringing the group in this hotel. Thank God it was only for one night, the hallways were filthy with large black stains on the rugs, tiles missing from the sealing, the rooms were old and not to... More

A group of 43 of us just spent the past week here and most commented and complained on problems with the hotel. It is a great shame as this could be a very nice little hotel very well located for the Vatican. Problems included, dangerously poor stair carpets, inadequate breakfast arrangements to accommodate the No. of guests, showers broken and... More

The hotel was fine for what we paid...nice room, lovely spacious clean bathroom. Staff were so very helpful. A pity the bar wasn't open, a problem with the staff so they said, but a lovely area to sit and relax. The receptionist gave us lots of help re. local transport...bus 81 stopped near a good few well know tourist attractions... More

The hotel looked the part, and the location mentioned previously is excellent, we found the room to be very small & it overlooked the dark back yard. The Air Conditioning broke down at least 3 times even after reporting this matter to reception it was still not resolved, so we didn't sleep well as it was very hot in the... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
